can some help me with the tethering on 2.3.4.
i try everything i could but it never work.
when i try the tethering it keep freeze for a few second and rebooting..

now i feel dumb since i just made a new thread about this. Anyways OP did you try to full wipe and reflash the rom because i'm having this same problem since flashing royalginger 2.0 w/ 2.3.4? Did it work after you reflashed?

Does not not work for me, I cleared both cache's, dalvik, wipe data factory reset, downloaded 2.3.4 from 3 different sites reflashed and once tether connects it reboots.
I would love to use their ROM but I need the teathering feature. I would also post my logcat file in their developer section but I need 10 posts to do that.
I've be en using ópera mobile browser with adobe flash, however today when i tried ti use it today, flash is not working anymore.
I uninstalled both flash and ópera and reinstalled, but it doesnt work
I test the regular browser and it works perfectly
Any hints on what could break it?

There was an update to Flash eleven, do you think that may be to blame?
to be honest i dont remember updating flash on the xoom, so i dont know if its that what breaks it.
but i dont remember what i've installed between the last time it works and now...probably i will do a factory reset and start over, because this was what i've most used on the xoom on launch breaks and on bed!!

Before you do that, try looking at your Flash version and if it updated, you can uninstall the update and see if that helps.

i uninstalled flash from the tablet and reinstalled the last version, so i'm not sure i'm capable of doing that.
hi, i have a problem in my Nexus S i9023, after update/flashing to 2.3.6 i can't turn NFC on... i get an error. but when i'am going back to 2.3.3 (cause i had this version when i got him and it was working) it's working well, turning on and off normally, reading paypass cards, but even after full flash when i turn him on it's off and can't be turned on. anyone have the same problem?

Yes, I have the same problem on my I9020T. If I downgrade to 2.3.3 or 2.3.4, it works fine, but as soon as I upgrade to 2.3.6, NFC is disabled and when you enable it, it just says an error occurred.

If you had tested previously a 2.3.7 ROM (CyanogenMod 7.1) then NFC will not work once you return to 2.3.6. There are fixes available but I chose to return to CyanogenMod and wait for ICS.
See my other posts in another thread about this problem.
But when I'm returning to 2.3.3 it is working so that's strange

ok I know this post is a little old but i came across it in a google search after noticing my nfc would not turn on on my stock 2.3.6 rom and the nfc fix on the post maciejb84 linked in his post fixed my issue and it allowed me to run gwallet on a non 2.3.7 rom which the other wallet fixes would not let me do so thanks maciejb84 and kibmcz(the OP of the link) for fixing my issue.
I had the same problem when i updated to 2.3.6. I solved my problem by going into app menu/all/nfc service and clearing data/cache and default values. Then reboot and you are ready to go.

Ok last night I flashed the gingerbread miui rom and I couldnt get the market to work. I didnt pay it any mind. It continued on today with the same problem. So I flash nb stock rom, cm7.2, cm6.1.1 and cm 7.1 and I keep gettinf server error. Is this a problem that google play is having and is anyone else experiencing this problem?
Have you tried re-flashing google apps? When I used the MIUI ROM, I installed this version: gapps-gb-20110613-signed.
That's strange. I didn't have that problem... Try flashing the gapps.
Tried flashing the recommended gapps but its still a no go, even on stock rom. This is crazy

Got the problem solved, just downloaded market enabler and spoofed my provider and now it's working again.
I had this problem too, I cleared data on the Google play app and all is fine again.

Thanks for the advice, this just fixed my Google Play connection issues after an update to Calkuin Mod on E4GT.
Hello guys , i flashed the official ICS austrian build XXLQ1 over HC 3.2 for my p6800 its working fine but i cant connect to my home network as it shows my wifi network not in range .. i managed to connect to my network after several reboots but it still disconnects and i wont be able to join the wifi network again .
I hope someone can tell me what is going ON !

I had the same problem. Did you use cwm. If yes then that is the problem. Dont use that. Mine is working fine after i just flashed with mobileodin

No really. I do have the same problem. I've tried installing different roms, different methods but still the same problem. I think its a problem with the WiFi driver Samsung has created for ICS/JB

i have flashed the official rom but my device disconnect automatically after about every few minutes but able to reconnect!
yes same here but you will be lucky if u can reconnect sometimes u have to reboot to make it work again !
Still no solution , hope someone finds a way to fix this
I have the same problem after installing with PC ODIN.
I flashed back to HC and back to ICS Hong Kong version and it's still resetting Wifi every 10 secs.
I've now installed Wifi Fixer from Play Store and it is resets it faster and holds the connection longer.
Although it still persists Wifi Fixer seems to improve it to the point where it's bare able.
Get Wi-Fi fixer from Play store. I did, and it works magic!

Update;
Well, Wifi Fixer only seemed to work for a few routers.
The one at home worked well but my router at work just wouldn't hold the connection.
I was about to give up and go back to HC.
I thought I'd give the new Austrian build a chance LQ2.
Since changing I noticed better Wifi signal for starters and no drop off like the Hong Kong version.
They Wifi seems fixed on the LQ2 build, it's working very well so far.
