1. get phone into download mode, connect USB cable
2. start Odin, load spica_jc3.ops as OPS file and any package flashable by odin- kernel, backup, firmware etc
3. except for standard flashing options check also Debug ONLY and Parameter Clear
4. flash
my phone can't turn on.not up new rom, black screen, not recovery mode, but downloading mode still active.
i don't writed english.
help.
me too
i think it's dead
or someone can help us ?
If you can access download mode- flash official firmware using Odin. Except standard options check also Debug ONLY and Parameter Clear.
If this doesn't help- check Debug ONLY, Parameter Clear and PDA Format.
Do not touch under any circumstances Phone EFS Clear- this will erase your IMEI

Hi,
It looks like my phone doesn't like ROMs above 4.2.2. All the ROMs i flashed, have a signal problem and occasionally, the WiFi doesn't work.
I've tried to change the modem but whatever version i try... i cannot change it. My baseband (XXUBMG7) is the same.
Now i have flashed via ODIN (as a last resort cause i didn't know what else to flash or try) and lost root and all, the official version available for my country (Romania) hoping for a resolution but... no chance :crying:.
As you can see in the picture... when i turn the screen on, i have no signal. Tho i can receive calls when my screen is off.
After a while my signal appears and i can make phone calls.
I can's stay like this... please help! Any suggestions ?
- Install Custom recovery (CWM or Philz Touch or TWRP) with Odin
------------
- Open Odin
- Shutdown ur phone and go to Download Mode
- Untick Autoreboot
- Flash modem -> HERE via Odin (button PDA/CP)
- Take the battery off and put it in again
- Reboot into Download Mode using (Vol Down plus Home button combi) again
- Flash Modem once more
- Once done, unplug then reboot device manually (Take the battery off and put it in again)
- It will change ur BASEBAND
I tried to flash alot of modems but none of them work (
Sometimes it sais it is installed, sometimes it asks for the PIT file.
I am stuck on baseband XXUBMG7 (

Press and hold Power+Volume Down In order to reach Download mode , Open odin select Phone/CP (Find the file you extract) put both cable and (check odin if it says com4 with blue color on it) press start and let it do its job , once done your phone will reboot and remove the cables. Now go to your phone setting > More> Device info> and check the baseband if it change. Don t panick. I did that already... You need to disconnect the cable and take out the battery. Then you press on the 3 buttons for a while (to empty the note completely) and put the battery back in. When you press the 3 buttons again it should be in download mode again.
To me it happened i think due to the fact i didn't tick update boot loader in odin 1.85. After ticking it and flashing no problem any more. Good luck
Thank you both for help. I fixed. Now i have kitkat with root but is another problem about cwm recovery. I was flashed by odin 6.0.4.5 and was successful but not working on my phone i cant get in. Always when i pressing tree buttons is "RECOVERY BOOTING" and restarting phone and booting system normal. Any advice?

Reflash stock firmware with Odin and after that data reset, then find a custom recovery like this one http://goo.im/devs/philz_touch/CWM_Advanced_Edition/hltetmo and flash it with Odin and flash the latest superSU.zip in recovery and you`re rooted.

I suggest you do the following;
First boot into stock recovery and do a factory reset, reboot and see if it boots up to android.
If that doesn't work, you can either odin a custom recovery like TWRP or CWM. Make sure you flash the latest one for KK as I've seen lots of people flashing one for 4.3 when they have a 4.4 bootloader.
Lastly, you can odin the stock firmware for your phone which can be downloaded off sammobile.

G900H. Lollipop. I used Odin with this file - CF-Auto-Root-k3g-k3gxx-smg900h.tar (the process I used for rooting). It has come out of boot sleep. When I'm trying to go into recovery mode, it gets stuck at Logo. My phone is working right now but doesn't go into recovery mode. Can you help me solve this? I want to try Marshmallow. Thanks!
make sure the MD5 hash matches, if you don't know how to hash MD5 look it up, if it fails just redownload the recovery tar because your download was corrupted

Try to flash TWRP recovery
Use ODIN to flash recovery, not some flash tool from G Play, it might have flashed the wrong version recovery
With ODIN, you do it manually, so if you flash the wrong version, it's because you didn't check it first, not because you let some random app do it for you

Loads of guides kicking about here in the S5 forum
Basically grab TWRP 2.8.7.0 .TAR for your model S5, load it into the AP or PDA section of ODIN, put your phone in download mode (Vol down & Home & Power from a powered off state), connect phone to PC USB, make sure drivers are installed, then hit start on ODIN
It should start the flashing process, and say success once done

What do you mean, nothing happened with ODIN?
Did you add the TWRP .TAR (Do not extract)?
Phone was in download mode?
Drivers were installed?
Could ODIN see the phone? Did it show the COM port at the top?

Brother, I'm not exactly a expert in this case, but I cam suggest you a few hit n trials.
Boot into recovery, go to mount and click on system, data, cache, dalvik, etc.
If you've tried doing so, then go to advanced, then to terminal and type in "mount /system" and others. If still this doesn't work. Then better try the cwm recovery. The unable to mount system has happened to me, and that time CWM came to my rescue.

Glad to hear that.
I hope you are following THIS GUIDE at boycracked. All the drivers and other softwares are listed there along with the download links.
Do note, that you have to flash the ROW Firmware (after extracting) and not the Stock ROM. The ROW firmware is available for A6000 only (and not A6000 plus), so you have to use that only, FROM THIS LINK. You can choose any of the ROW firmware. Flashing A6000s firmware won't affect anything except that your recent app cleaner will show 1GB of total RAM (only for display...actually the whole 2GB is used).
Later. after you recover your phone, you can flash the stock ROM or any other custom ROM or maybe leave it like that...

Did you followed each and every step as in the tutorial I mentioned...??
The key point is that you should have correct drivers installed and your device in download mode should be detected in device manager on PC as Qualcomm Preloader Diagnostic Mode whatever...
And keep im mind that you have to extract the 7z ROW Firmware file.

Does this also work when it broke down by "installing" xposed framework?
i also got the problem that no matter how i try to boot in recovery mode it freezes on the samsung logo (with model number below), then fades to some strange static green, so deinstalling the framework might be kinda problematic
Hello,
What is your actually version android ( 5.1.1 lollipop or 6.0.1 Mashsmallows ) ?
so if Android Mashmallows 6.0.1 , download the files firmwares mashmallows 6.0.1 .
Next you need to use odin in computer to put the file .tar.md5 in Odin and plug you devise with USB cable , and press power + home + volume - in mode download.
And in Odin you start to flash.
Sorry for my bad english.
