Will any of these work on the X8? Can they be ported?
The new timescape looks delicious!

It would be also nice to make arc home screen launcher for X8. It is now fully working, only it is not suitable for 320x480 resolution. Here you can see screenshots from X8 (by lollylost100):

The x10 users have managed to make timescape and mediascape work. Hopefully the new scrolling timescape will make its way to the X8 too.Am not a programmer..any developer is ready to take up the challenge?

So, is there anybody who work on this launcher to be compatible with X8. I'm using it at the moment, but it's little laggy, maybe because it's not for 340x480.

Would like to see somone working on this, Shame i don't know any of the coding for it but if someone out there could show me a link to the basics and then i might be able to have a look to get it to work on the x8
If i learnt the basics soon i should be able to help out on the 2.3 2.2 roms for us

anyone test with DENSITY CHANGER... may be it will help

kenshinta has changed Arc home launcher to better suit phones with mdpi sceeen resolution e.g. X8
You can download it here:

Full screen app?

Anyone know if there is a small app to allow you to toggle from a display with menu and task bars to full screen in any app?
TIA
Ed
You might want to take a look at this... VJ's contribution of the toggle tool for today.

I'm working on a new interface and possibly combined version of Fullscreen anything and VJToggleToday II. Hopefully this will allow fullscreen anything...

thanks mate!
but what is "fullscreen anything" - i couldnt find it!!!
ed
"Fullscreen anything" isn't a program I've released (for now).
I was asked in another thread if I can make an app like VJToggleToday II but for all apps. I said that I made such an app once, but didn't release it because the OS sometimes doesn't know how to deal with "enlarged" apps.
However, since the code for VJToggleToday is nearly finished, but I now need to put an interface around it, I had the idea to combine it with that old unreleased app, to make a combined version.

Lovely job!
I can't wait!
it'll be very good if it helps me have more screen space for apps like flexmail and pocketinformant! I tried the VGA method but it hurts my eyes to much!!!
Hopefully, and this is theoretical right now because I don't use Pocket Informant, it should work on just about any app. Good thing I wasted so many gazillions of hours writing VJSmallIcons II! Some apps need some "jiggery pokery" (that's a technical expression) to make them fullscreen. However, some apps just don't like to go fullscreen, although the worst that'll happen is you may get some graphical glitches (which is why I didn't release before). I like NewsReader in fullscreen mode, which it doesn't natively offer.

cheers vijay.
I looked at buttonmax but there is no wm5 version yet. Im sure your job will be smaller, slicker & better anyway. (schlurp schlurp, sucking up!!!)

Hi,mate...This situation didn't happen to me...Since I'm using shubcraft v1.5...If not mistaken you are using Hyperdroid build, right?I think this problem related to the screen density...I'm using the shubcraft default screen density (which is 240),it works like charm...You may try to adjust it,since Hyperdroid build using lower screen density(so you see more spaces on the homescreen...
Here are some tips about how to change the screen DPI...click here
Hope this works...you may give it a try,see it goes...If all else failed,You can refer back to your Hyperdroid build thread...Pongsters already listed down plenty of useful tips about his build...
Cheers...
nice wallpaper..
can u share it???
thankx
Its always a good Idea to look at things twice. I say this because when i first saw it I thought it was awfully ugly. Second look I decide its not so bad.

Haha, yea, same here...its pretty cool launcher,it helps us categorise our apps...furthermore it includes widget as well...Thats great...unlike the Galaxy S launcher,we cant install touch wiz widget...
The home and their widget only supports 240 dpi. If not everything looks wrong.

2)put the file in Android\AndroidApps
3)Reboot
please keep update, very good for first app!
i cant find a simple calc with digit group since WinMo (ex: 1000000 => 1.000.000) , why is this not a standard? waiting for your update
Very nice first app!
I would tone the blue down a little bit, it seems just a little too bright when compared to WP7, and the numbers look a bit stretched too.
Good luck further developing this app!

It works, smooth and different with ICS/Honeycomb tablet style
Realtime pinch to zoom desktops
Nice colored folders
Resizable folders like in spb shell
Different icons choice came with theme
Weather and Note are not worth it, just get the 3 themes and either xhdpi or hdpi, they work the same.
I customized it, so therefore I like it.
Switched from Nova launcher.
