Hi,
When I first installed WP7 on my HD2, when I clicked on the Home button, Bing app opened.
After I installed Google Search app, now when I click on the Home button, IE opens on the Bing page, the Bing App is not opening anymore.
Did this happen to anybody else or just me?
If you found a fix for this please let me know how to fix it.

I think the google search widget and capabilities automatically update depending on if they detect google voice search installed properly. Are you able to bring it up by longpressing the hardware search button on your phone?
If not, the fix is on the first page of this thread just a few posts down:

no it just goes to the old google search without voice.
I'm not sure if this is the right section, but here it goes.
I've been really bothered for a while about this. Under any contact with a home address, in SenseUI or TouchFlo, there is an option that says "Show Home on Map". I click it but nothing happens. I've searched for hours, and found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-621356.html but it doesn't work.
Verizon TP2, Stock WM6.5 Rom
WTF?

Do you have google maps installed? It is supposed to work with that
Yep, google maps is installed
Works fine for me with the stock ROM installed. Goes straight to google maps (latest version 4.1.0) and finds the address.
I also have TomTom installed.
I have google maps, bing and tomtom installed. Just upgraded from 6.1 to 6.5, and its never worked.
well, inbetween drawings loading, i reinstalled google maps, and now it works, what the hell? Oh well, not complaining.

Mine was missing too. However, once I updated Google Maps, and rebooted the phone, there it was!

And it kicks ass btw!
sorry for my ignorance, but what is google navigation and how do you reboot the phone?
go into the market application search for google maps, or just hit menu, downloads.. you will see theres an update. Update it. Then go into the launcher (applications menu) and search for navigation. Have fun. Its turn by turn directions from google maps, and acts pretty much just like a real car GPS.

It's like having a GPS receiver. If you've ever used VZ Navigator for Verizon or anything like that. It basically gives you turn-by-turn directions without having to pay for it. Pretty nice feature IMO. O yeah and it's free.
O yeah and rebooting your phone all you do is hold down the top home key for a while and it will launch a screen that asks you if you want to power off or reboot.
thanks for the quick response. I will try out the navigation app. Now I pressed the home key and it only has options for power off the phone. oh well maybe if i power off and on the phone it's the same as rebooting.
take a look at your manual, the home key has a little home on it. Either way that has nothing to do with what you need to do, you need to go to your application market and find google maps and update it, no reboot should be necessary
yeah correct once i updated the google maps, navigation have updated it
Hello,
im using hyperdroid 3.0.1 on HD2 EU. All works fine except the navigation. i start the app and im able to use this a few minutes.. but then the app just close (without error or typical fc message).
if i restart the app the app crashes in about 1-2mins again and again..
if i use the app a long time, the time between the crashes get smaller so after 30-45min navigation the app closes after 20-30secs..
someone got a fix for it? or some idea? (please no alternate apps - i like google )

Right after it crashes, reboot into recovery and fix permission
worth a try
What version of Google Maps are you using? Maybe it is because of an old version or just because you are in a region that does not offer navigation yet... I am in Bulgaria and Google Maps also used not to start at all. Seek for a cracked apk file - maybe it will help...
I use NexusHD2 latest build, and a week ago google navigator started giving me FC, the solution was to clear the app data (in Settings), then going to the sdcard and delete the cache data folder "/cdcard/Android/data/com.google.android.apps.maps", seems that this fixed it...

Is there not a Search button at the bottom of the marketplace screen? Never heard of this problem before...
You could also try generating a QR code for the Windows Phone Store link to the YouTube app, pressing the Bing button on your phone, choosing the Bing vision option and point your phone's camera at the QR code. When you click the link the marketplace will open and go to the YouTube app page.

If you connect your windowslive account to the http://www.windowsphone.com/store , you can directly click on "install" and your phone will get the app with a little delay
Starting today you need Windows Phone 7.5 to use Marketplace
