Can a different kernel kill your gps? I am using sbc on miui
Sent from your favorite carrier, black and yellow!
Yea if gps works on the rom itself it can only be your phone or the kernel, try a different one and see if it fixes it

Yes but also remember that gps has major lag issues on miui. It's was my daily driver for about a month but s couldn't deal with that and a few other issues. Use the zen kernel and download gps status app from the market.

Has anyone figured out a way to keep the screen on when maps is on? I know Sprint Nav will stay on, but I would like to keep maps on without the screen timing out. You would think Google would have a feature that when plugged in would allow certain apps to keep the screen on.
I know it sounds like I'm plugging the hell out of it lately (it has so many features), but widgetsoid had a toggle to keep screen on

Does anyone use Tegrak overclock from the market? I've been using it for awhile now on frankenstein and it seems to work.
I bought it ... set it wrong phone screen froze so I turned it off and never used it again

The free version actually overclocks a non oc kernel, it works.. not real configurable. But it works, using hw hooks... I've used it just to see if it worked, but I don't use it...

why can the galaxy s not handle games such as fruit ninja, lane splitter and stick cricket. These games run do smoothly on the iphone 4 but lag on the galaxy s. For example if while I'm playing and get a phone call the phone answer slider lags when trying to answer and when I get a text it lags when i try and open it. Why is this?

Don't use custom. Custom themed framrworks and deodexed roms killa multitasking much. Dont use many widgets.

.35 kernel comes with newer gpu and camera libs. It has sound problems, and in-call volume is volume in stock. There you have few.
Thank you =)

How many of you are using Trickster Mod with the One? I've been looking in to all the available settings and options, and will admit it's a little overwhelming. What do you find to be the best combinations for Power Conservation, Gaming, Screen Calibration, ect?
Difficult because the best performance so far benchmark wise had just been stock without tweaks
I've been waiting for a thread like this. I'm curious as to what settings people use. I'm sick of asking in kernel threads all the time lol. Hopefully people post..

I'm using it on Insert Coin and ElementalX 2.2 and finally the frequencies stick properly. I just use the app to UC and change the governor to Intellidemand, hoping for a better battery life with it. I don't see any other things which are important right now, as everything we needed can be configured in Aroma itself
