Hey guys im wondering what ROM is closest to pure aosp for the fascinate?
Thanks
Retro kids has some nice themes that you can slap on your rom of choice. As of now, that's as close as you are going to get.
JT's clean ROM with RetroKid's AOSP theme.

tried to install it but i never get past the SAMSUNG screen.
Is there a special way to install it?
and im not talking about the MAGIC aosp rom because thats still built on touchwiz so it seems from photos.
Did you get it from IRC? That's where it is. Also, it is very buggy, and the phone doesn't work.

that is a no radio/data with the 11/11 that some have stumbled upon in the rom manager manifest
Which version are you running because there are two different themes for each version. For the i01, check out my aosp request in the themes. Retrokid has instructions on how to install theme. For the version that doesn't really exist, his ultimate aosp theme is what you should look for.
Idk if this is a dumd question, but I have fission rom manager lite installed on my phone, n I was reading another forum n it said I can donate and ill get a link to the full version. Does anybodu know the difference between lite and full version? Also how do I donate to get the full one?

Angdroid had released a newer version in the ROM manager that had one small fix. Otherwise, there's not much of a difference if I remember correctly. Honestly though, Fission development is done (developer moved on). I would choose a different ROM if I were you. Liberty, Apex, or even the fresh CM7 that cvpcs is working on are all GB-based and have more promise than Fission does in its current state.
Ooooooooo, ok lol thanx ill deff check one of those out

I just odined back to the original stock froyo rom not the deodexed version either ,i wanted to know is it a way i can implement the %1 battery mod on this rom. I searched in the epic 4g wiki forum found the old battery mod but seems outdated
You will need to be deodexed.
Oh ok yeah i wanted to avoid flashing the deodexed stock rom again, but i guess i will have too thanks appreciate it

He doesn't need to be deodexed for "just" a battery mod
Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk
Well true I guess, but the only way to get %mod at this point is to flash a theme, which you would need to be deodexed to do.

Yeah, I flashed a CRT off and battery% mod on my ET4G which is rooted stock and it worked great. I can't remember if there is just a battery% mod with nothing else

Post a link in here, I still don't know where it is located, havnt looked, so.
On my phone, or I would, google uot kitchen. It's a website that edits your frameworks in an easy to use interface. It has a tutorial video on the page also. There's also an xda thread started by the dev.

I understand, and I know my way around google, I was saying to post it for everyone else, I havnt looked for it, and really have no need for it. But it is the perfect solution to the OP's problem, and I figured they would really appreciate the link, just sayin. Thanks either way!

hey guys i was thinking to make a miui gingerbread port to wildfire.i already made on for lg optimus one and helped to get it working on galaxy ace.what i want is to show that our little tiny phones can also run it and are not so less as compared to hdpi phones.see my signature to get a look at miui ginger bread in optimus one

Regards kssood.
Oh snap, sign me up for testing
oh snap! signed up
So tell me, how's the performance on them? Similar to CM7?
still beta!see my signature and click the miui banner to go to my thread.and give me the link for the most stable cm7 rom for yr device
Some users are reporting that RC1 of 7.2 works good.
http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?type=RC&device=buzz
I personally use Build 14 (KANGed CM7 nightly by ErwinP)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=22606301&postcount=2518
But if you're just looking for the stable version it's 7.1.0.1
http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?type=stable&device=buzz
this puzzled me more.....what do u want me to base it upon?
Can't say anything about 7.2, but the second link is working perfectly on my phone, so that might be a nice basis.
7.2 is working perfect for me not had any problems at all, and sign me up for testing. I loved miui v4, just a shame it doesn't work well enough yet.

Good idea Probably it's better to have a working gingerbread miui than a ICS Miui build with the same issues as in CM9. Thumps up for your work
Fine!!! Personnaly I love Miui. I want to test the rom but I'm a french and my english is too bad :/
I would also like to test it and 7.2 works great for me too.

Sign me up for the beta! I'll happily test/bug report and provide feedback, just like I've done for MIUI4, I'm also willing to reflash and try new roms.
hmmm, looking forward to this rom. id be happy to test it.

Am currently running CM9 1.5 and loving the stability and smoothness the from is giving me on my evo.
Wondering if there are any ics kernels that support the team win HDMI app that worked well for me running sense roms with a kernel that supported it.
I've looked around and can't find mention of an ics kernel that does the job. Am hoping I missed something and one of my fellow forum members could point me in the right direction. Thanks for your time!

Bump.
Anything?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA
Last time I read about this someone mentioned there is NO HDMI for ics right now. Not until and official ics kernel is released, I believe .if there is let me knowLol
So NO . That's y i keep cm7 on boot manager, I just boot it up when I wanna use HDMI.
