Why I don't care if the tab sees honeycomb. - Galaxy Tab General

Look at the xoom right now. It's got a ton of issues that are going to take a while to get sorted out. I don't want to play that game. I love my tab with mobile data, because I spend a majority of my time in places that do not have wifi. But I hate paying for another data plan on top of my captivate. I've experimented using the tab as my main device and it works out for me perfect. I always use a headset or it's synced to my car over bluetooth. That's normal for me. I'm always on my tab so I'm always carrying it around anyways. So it's like a giant captivate to me and I'm perfectly content with that. Long battery, lots of screen and no extra data plan to pay for. Adios tmobile tab, hello att tab. It's such a shame that this may be the last device that can be made to just accept my att sim and work as my phone. I'm never getting rid of my tab!

I don't really care if the tab gets an official release of honeycomb. If an unofficial release is developed and proves to be fully functional then I will definitely upgrade so I can get any honeycomb only apps. Other than that, I don't really care.
My galaxy is my main device. I take it with me everywhere. I can't imagine lugging around anything bigger without needing a bag. If I need bigger, I'll take my tablet pc with me.
I'm just hoping that Samsung and other companies continue to release tablets around the same size as the galaxy so I have something to upgrade to later on. I have to use my iphone once in a while and the thing feels so tiny! I feel like that giant using the cellphone in that one tv commercial.

Use as a phone

Yeah I know, not the first thread on the subject
I am a rather happy owner of a Galaxy Tab for the past 36 hours and I just wanted to share my feelings about the usage as a phone. Until I own it I was pretty much convinced this was going to be my main phone, just a question of being able to use a Bluetooth headset with it.
I am not 100% sure anymore.
First, and probably because it's the first time I use a headset I have found this much less convenient than using a phone (This is hopefully just a question of getting used to it). Can't see who is calling (Yep with the right headset the name will show, I may purchase one, but still wont have the picture), people around can hear much better what you're saying, if if you have to manipulate the tab for whatever reason, given its size you feel clumsy
Second, texting while walking in the street is pretty much more difficult. The Tab is big, easy to drop (Read the few threads around of people who broke their screen). It takes me half a second to take my Touch Pro 2 out of my pocket, get the keyboard out and type some messages while walking. And given its size I nearly never dropped it (And whenever I did it always survived without being wounded ). I am definitely slower with my tab (Plus I have to get used to use an on-screen keyboard, but then yeah on this I guess it's a question of getting used to it)
Third (maybe funny): while in meetings I didn't see anybody raise an eyebrow whenever I was texting with my TP2 (looks a bit like a blackberry and anyway quite discrete) I can see how much attention I draw whenever I answer some txt or emails now ! And with the screen size it make sit easy to see what I ma doing... Not the Tab's neg, but for me kind of a drawback
Last one (This one may make some laugh): I love clubbing, bar hoping, etc... I thought it would fit my back pocket. And it does ! however try dancing with that in your back pocket... That's not gonna work And there is no way I'd leave my phone at the cloak, I need it with me (take phone numbers, give direction to friends, etc...). I'd be better off leaving the Tab in the cloak and still go around with a small device (Even an average sized device like my TP2 handles OK while dancing)
I love the form factor, so easy to carry around, but in the end I understand much better Blackberry's approach with the Playbook, it's probably the best way to go, and I am considering using the Tab as a second device.
However I see the pain ahead... Don't wanna have 2 plans. And that's where it sucks. It seems in many countries you are able to have 2 SIM cards with the same number (With kind of a master device and a slave one). Couldn't find anything similar with AT&T in the US If anybody ever heard of this kind of services.... It would be perfect. Then I can still swap SIM cards but that sucks... (And I guess if you do it 5 times a day you may damage your SIM (If not lose it while dropping it)). Another solution is to tether the phone to the Tab (Great I paid for a 3G Tab for nothing !!) but on that I am quite worried about the battery life of both devices Maybe through Bluetooth rather than Wifi ? Would consume less ? If anybody has an idea... Or could try SIM cloning... But it seems it's not really possible anymore with SIM v2 (And besides if the operator doesn't offer the service described above I guess there will be conflicts between the 2 devices at some stage (Not 100% sure but possible)
Anyway... Don't flame me, would just be happy to exchange on the subject with people who have found solutions, have ideas on the matter, or just inform future buyers
Waoh, zero interest on the subject !
Well, i dont have one, but i can defiantly see where using it as a phone could lead to some problems, even if it does fit in you back pocket. It is interesting that you attempted it though, but pulling it out at meetings...thats priceless

I think the irony is that most of us in Europe wouldn't consider using the Tab as primary phone even though it is a fully functional phone, whereas in the US it's the other way around.

In the UK, we don't have the ability to have multiple SIMs with the same phone number either, but it is far less of an issue compared to the US because we have an extremely competitive market for data.
For example, on T-Mobile in the UK, for £20 (around $32) I can get 6 months worth of mobile internet with 1GB FUP which is ideal for a Tab which doesn't go out and about too often - and there's no overages, just an understanding that they may restrict service if you regularly go over your FUP allowance.
For £10 ($16) a month, I can get truly unlimited internet (excludes tethering) on Giffgaff which is ideal for the more mobile Tab.
When it comes to contracts, I have a mobile broadband contract on 3 that gives me 15GB a month for £15, which allows tethering etc.
I'm planning on heading over to Florida for 6 or 7 weeks early next year, and I'm probably going to get a MiFi of some sort with a T-Mobile Web Connect SIM, but it's going to be a hell of a lot more expensive than something comparable in the UK.
Regards,
Dave

The thing is since not so many people know what it is, it attracts attention... So it's not very discrete, while a small phone you can type your personal messages during meetings people don't really pay attention (Or think you're sending professional messages)

Well... I am European... (Although I live in NY)
US carriers suck for data plans. I lived in japan and HK before where for half the price I got much better service... Definitely for £10 a month I wouldn't even bother thinking about using my phone SIM card in my Tab to take advantage of my unlimited data plan (Which by the way in the SU looks more and more like it will be limited by throttling down once you reach a threshold.............)
Why would you need 2 plans with AT&T tab? I guess you didn't want to flash her.
Your other points are completely valid. It is just a matter of personal opinion/wanting to replace the phone with tab enough. Thanks for sharing!
Here are some workarounds you could investigate:
Try a bluetooth stereo headset with a display.
Use the Sony LiveView and wear as a watch.
Type with a tiny bluetooth keyboard.
Get a separate smartphone with a VNC client. Turn on the mobile hotspot, on your Galaxy Tab, and then control it with the smaller smartphone.
How is the Galaxy Tab's battery life as a phone, by the way?
Thanks for the post. I've been thinking to get the tab to replace my I9000 as the main phone, but after I read your post, I think I'll hold it for a while .....

Anyone with the successful order with the 25% off coupon plan to cancel the order?

For some reason, after reading the many negative posts about the Xoom, I now want to cancel my order that I got with the 25% off coupon.
Things that is the deal breaker for me is the following:
1. Cannot play 720p .mkv videos
2. Mediocre screen/display
I went to Best Buy and saw the Samsung Galaxy Tab and just love the brightness of the SGT. It is so vibrant.
Also, reading the posts about the SGT indicates that it can handle 720p and even 1080p flawlessly. It can also be replaced with faster ROM to make the SGT even better.
So I am thinking of cancelling the Xoom order from Motorola with the 25% off coupon and just get the Galaxy Tab instead.
Anyone has the same feeling?
....or I can just keep the order and not open it once I have it and sell it for $750 on Craigslist. This would cause a little bit of a hassle though.
Heck no! I'm keeping mine!
If you don't want to keep it, you should sell it on Ebay or something. You can make a profit if you sell it for under $800. [ninja'd]
Even if they don't want it, why would they ever cancel their order? Even if they have no intent to use the device, they basically have $150 free on the way to their house when they sell it. Even if they sell it for $700 just to get it off their hands they just made $100. lol.
And good god why would you ever buy the Galaxy Tab, with several new Honeycomb tablets coming in the following weeks.
Is this a joke? It has to be. A galaxy tab over the xoom? Lol
It will play mkv files once the software gets fixed I'm sure.

People with issues are the ones who speak the loudest. I'm not worried at all about isolated incidents. As a launch G1, N1, and now Xoom (but not yet received) user it comes with the territory.
If I were worried about a lack of apps, bugs, or flash at launch etc. I would have trashed my G1 right away. I remember the android 1.0 days when I had to wait a month before the market was live. Even then, there was only a few dozen apps available.
I'm treating 3.0 the same way as 1.0. Full of potential. Just have to have faith after an update or two it will be amazing.
Xoom to Galaxy Tab...WUT?
The Galaxy Tab is good but its not in the same league as the Xoom. The screen isn't that bad, its bright and extremely responsive. Samsung will probably always have the lead in screen technology but it isn't as bad as you think. Once the Xoom gets an update it will not only handle 720p video but 1080p as well. Getting the 25% off this thing makes it a no brainer bye.

Typing this from my week old Samsung Galaxy Tab. I already have a large tablet device (ipad) but needed something portable, so the Xoom is out of the question especially after I picked it up and realized it's pretty much a landscape device.
The Galaxy tab is a great device and trust me 7 inches is the sweet spot if you actually want it to leave the house on a regular basis (other than vacations). Personally, if you care about having the latest OS, I would wait for the HTC flyer. If you don't care about portability, I would just wait to see reviews and releases on the other Honeycomb devices.
If you don't care about the latest OS, I would highly recommend the Samsung Galaxy Tab. I haven't touched my ipad in a week.
Just sell the Xoom on Craigslist and make a nice little profit.

There is no way I would even touch a galaxy tab after using a Xoom. 2.2 was not meant for tablets and the processor is so slow.. even after I developed a kernel to overclock it.
If you would like a cheap sprint version.. mine is on ebay for $350 right now..

[Q] Xoom advice

Hello,
I am after a bit of advice. At the moment I have the original iPad which ought in Dubai for £160 brand new. However iv found that I don't really use the tablet a lot. After a bit of thought I realized that it is because it's wifi and only and unfortunately there isn't a wifi connection everywhere is the world. If the tablet was a wifi one then I believe it would get a great deal of use, and lower my phone bills in the process as I'm using around 2gb+ of internet use on my mobile from Internet browsing which incurs additional charges.
So question is should I buy the xoom?
I looked at the lg optimus tab as I do have the optimus 3d , but after a little reading I discovered that it doesnt have a 3d screen so that's out. There is obviously the galaxy tabs coming out, however I'm not a fan of samsung in the slightest , had the original galaxy s for a little while and was really not impressed.
The tablet will have to be on contract as I'm not really able to dish out 400/500 for a sim free one.
I do like the look of the xoom and despite it still rocking 3.0 in the uk the 3.1 update should be around the corner , and I will be rooting the tablet anyway.
If anyone has any better suggestions for a android tab on paym contract except the xoom please surgest away. The only other one I could find was the htc , and despite owning a ton of there phones the lack of 3.0 is a seriously downfall.
If anyone could offer a bit of advice about owning the xoom as well as the app choice that would be great.
Thanks for your time ,
Jordan

Jordan, it will be best for you to hear from a Xoom owner with your same potential configuration as I have the US wifi only Xoom, but I wanted to answer you to get it rolling. As piece of hardware, the xoom is superior to anything currently available. That is my opinion but I believe that I speak for many others. The Xoom is heavier but stronger than many other tabs. Someone said it felt like something made for the military. You might not like that but I love its toughness. Also, it seems to be really hard to actually "brick" by rooting, poor installations, etc. There are some things you really shouldn't do, but even then, people have brought their Xooms back from the edge of disaster, so it's pretty well made. Google support for the US wifi model is excellent. Motorola seems to be getting a black eye in Europe for taking a long time to update, but you are aware of these issues according to your post. As you know, apps will or will not be available depending on your location. I am 97.5% satisfied that I have every possible app that I want or need to make my Xoom a superb tablet computer. I have good 4G coverage in my city so having an unlimited 4G personal hotspot works wonders with my wifi Xoom. It's a bit too large to use as a phone, and I don't always have my Bluetooth headset on, but I actually could get rid of my (non-android) phone and use the Xoom with Line2 for $9.99/mo. I use Splashtop HD to access and control my PC desktop from anywhere. I have sdcard, thumb drive, 750GB HDD and cloud storage on top of 32GB internal storage with the Xoom. As you can guess, I really love it.
Your experience may be different, though since you will root, you will have all of the same capabilities plus the 3G. If you have an android phone you can tether your Xoom and provide the connectivity that way. Maybe you don't need a 3G Xoom, just a good phone data plan.
Thanks very much for the advice and the notes about your xoom. It's fine to read reviews on products but they don't really tell the full story. So the facts you have stated and what you are able to do with your xoom is very promising .
I would consider the 3G wifi hot spot , I have done that on my iPad however if your doing it without a charger then the battery of your phone really doesn't last very long. (remember that iv got the lg 3d which isn't really a beacon of perfection when it comes to battery life) also due to the stupid uk networks vodafone do not offer a unlimited data pplan and tethering stacks up data usage badly.
To be honest I m pretty excited for it and may very well make a trip and get one come Friday.
As you say the specs are brilliant which helps the longevity and it's not difficult to keep it updated with later versions of android through root or motorola themselves .
Thanks very much for the reply ,
Jordan
i too are interested in the zoom 3G, but i also have other choices which includes the galaxy tab 8.9 or the LG 3G tab. i do prefer the smaller tab of the three which are the samsung or the LG 3D, anyone can comment on these.
thanks

Hey all you happy Note users! I am thinking of jumping aboard but I do have a slight hang-up. I am going to buy the galaxy s 2 on black friday, and my dilemma is whether or not to sell it and get the not. Bear with me, there are some minor math calculations going on here!
Here are the calculations for my service provider, at&t, over two years(note: my bro's family plan I will be mooching off of has a 25% discount, so that is why prices are different. )
Galaxy S 2:
$50 upfront for the phone (black friday deal)
$9.99/m for the line
$22.50/m for unlimited data (with iphone 2g trick)
= 829.76 over 24 months
Galaxy Note:
~$740 upfront for the phone
- ~350 for selling the GS2
$9.99/m for the line
$7.50/m for unlimited MEdia net (if I can pull it off)
= 809.76 over 24 months.
Somewhat similar pricing at the end, but I think it comes down to whether or not I can get the media net plan. If I cant, the price difference will be pretty huge.
Questions:
Is the media net trick confirmed enough for me to be confident in pulling it off?
If not, is it really worth the extra for this awesome piece of "kit"?
I am coming from a tiny screen dumbphone, so anything is great.
As always, thanks will be given to helpful posts.
You guys rock!

Assuming you are in the US, Medianet works. There's no guarantee it'll work forever, as AT&T does notice you swapped phones.
Is it worth it? Going from a tiny dumbphone? I think your head will explode in awesomeness.
S2 is a better one handed phone, and is smaller. It's also smoother, as it's been fine tuned over time.
IMHO The Note smokes the S2 (and every other phone) in every single other category that counts. Stylus is the gimmick, but it's the 5.3" screen that is the biggest deal. GPS rules, battery life is wonderful. What more can you ask for?
The Note is a brand new device so it has the typical problems that will go away in time:
1) Not a whole lot of accessories
2) It needs some more OS updates to smooth things out (right now the S2 is less laggy, but that will change soon enough)
Normally I'd say, 'think about what you do the most, and pick a device that does that the best'. You are entering a whole new world with smartphones, though.
The only turn offs for the Note is the size (it's not a one hander) and price.
Call quality is OK - not that exciting.
For how I use a phone, the Note is very close to perfect for me.
- Frank
i got an hd2...now that i bought the note am finding the note is the awesome size i want...the screen is amazing...web browsing nvr felt better to browse during lectures...smooth enough for me...i agree it's not a one hander...it will suck to use it while driving...but other then that am enjoying every bit of it

Ex Dell Streak er

I'm surprise no one started a thread just yet on this so let me be the first. I'm a former Dells streak user and one of those who can't rid myself of the 5 inch display, use it up to the latest rom by Djsteve on streakdroid 2.4. got myself a Gnote for couple of weeks now and is currently on Cassie's literom KL3.
here is my like and dislike with Galaxy note as compare to Streak:
Like:
Super Amoled HD makes streak pixel looks so rough in comparison
For factor, lighter and easier to hold even though screen is 0.2 inch bigger than streak.
GPS lock is blazing fast
Superb Battery life -consider this if you need more juice-http://www.obostore.com/5000mah-extended-battery-for-samsung-galaxy-note-p-3925-c-198.html
Picture and movie quality!
Dislike:
ROM for Note at infancy stage, can't even get launcher to work flawlessly
Can't run many games due to compatibility(screen not maximize or apps cant run)
Physical button location. Streak button is all at the right place for one hand thumb usage and correctly position when use horizontally. (streaker who had migrate will know what i mean)
this is what i can think of and this is not a review, i know its not fair to compare both hardware as both are from a different time and in gadget time, one year means 1 decade in human time
Ex streaker, please share your thoughts.
Streakers, post question if you have any.
I am an ex Streaker who was "forced" to go to a Samsung Infuse when my precious Streak's screen cracked... I have been drooling over the Note for months - only thing holding me back is fear of being shut off by AT&T (I am on an "unlimited" smartphone plan and I do not want to lose that). Great thread - I am curious what the ex streakers think of the Note!
Just waiting for the white Note to be released in the UK then I'll add to this thread ... Hurry up Samsung !!

Im an ex streak owner forced to the Note after suprise suprise, breaking the lcd on the streak.
Comparison wise, the streak was good, but im sorry to say the streak is an amateurs toy compared to the note, th Gnote is a real beast humming along, the streak could never compare, as for roms, people can talk Dj Steve all day long, there isnt a single rom on that forum that actually worked as it should have, especially streakdroid.
Whats all this talk of people being cut off their data plans for having a streak, Im on an unlimited data plan in the uk with 3 and no ones ever said anything to me about my data usage, ive heard this a few times on this forum now, is this only an AT&T issue or something??
This device is basically eveything everyone who had the 5" had hoped the opus one would be. Rooting and roming seems to be easier than on the streak too somehow. I only lament it not having nfc or lte or hsdpa2 or 4g connectivity as was stated months back. There will probably be an updated version somewhere along the road too. Rumors already fart in the general direction of 6" too. Which, btw, is basically the maximum i am willing to carry, as long as the bezel ain't too big anyway. The pentile matrix samoled display is a bit of a cheat because it only uses 8 instead of 12 subpixels too. BUT the display is both capacitive AND induktive and the s-pen is basically a wacom stylus pen.

Also an ex Streak user here. I loved the streak at first, but after a few months I got really fed up with its temperamental nature. It was very slow at times and became just a hindrance. I couldn't wait to get rid of it and upgraded to a galaxy s2 as soon as I could. Then a few months after that I saw that the Note had been announced and began drooling over that. Had a few problems with pink spots on S2 camera so I used that as an excuse to complain to Orange UK, got out of the contract early, started a new one and got the Galaxy Note free.
Its just such a different experience to using the Streak. Much faster (although I do think some of the 3rd party launchers were smoother on the streak), much better screen, nicer to hold, s pen is fantastic, and as some others have said...the s2 now feels like a little toy.

It looks like AT&T had the wrong IMEIs in its database, and it was incorrectly identifying the Note as a tablet. Apparently it's been fixed.

what is the deal on LTE for AT&T? Should I wait for the AT&T LTE version - or just go ahead and buy the UK version from Amazon?
I'm an ex-Streaker and have had my Note for about 2 days now (Euro/UK version) I love it. I was about to get a Galaxy Nexus but went into VZW on launch day, held up my Streak to it, and realized I can't go back to a smaller screen (4.65" in ICS is about 4.4" or so due to soft buttons).
I am a former Dell Streak owner / early adopter.
I chase new technology and when I heard of the Note I became consumed with interest.
My Streak was great. I used it a lot. Thankfully, I was able to sell it.
But... the Note is SO MUCH further beyond the Streak. The screen. The feel in hand. The speed. The camera. The OS. Leaps and bounds ahead of the Streak and it's not even close.
But... if I had a small complaint; the Note's side buttons are easy to hit in the gripping process. Sometimes the easy press is good. Sometimes not. But I'm learning to avoid them.
I used to own a streak, and now own a note. This phone really is what the streak should have been. All the djsteve roms couldn't make the streak a frustrationless phone, the note is without modding it.
Everybody thinking about jumping ship, do it!
AT&T
Sorry for all you guys having those issues, thats just awful the way this company has behaved.
Im on the 3 network in the uk, and i know 3 and vodafone allow complete tethering over here, so there never seems to be an issue over it, although 3 are the only network that give TRUE unlimited data to their subscribers.
I do not have home broadband, i do not see the need, my friends are on 21mbps Broadband and even at good times only achieve DL rates of 5mbps, i tether my NOTE via usb tethering and achieve between 6-10mbps DL rates.
Some months ive downloaded about 10 to 20 gig, so, i see no need to ever invest in broadband that will never match what i have now.
I did read that the AT&T issue is now resolved, fingers crossed for you all, the note is probably in the category of a HYBRID as the streak very much was, but this does not give AT&T the right to spoil your enjoyment of the digital age, i hope you guys across the pond have no further issues, its a shambolic statement of corporate America based on greed, but then ive never heard anyone say anything good about them.
Dont get me wrong guys, i dont mean to DIS the streak, for what it was it was nifty, in its day, but it didnt help that the makers were DELL, and the amount of flaws in the item straight from the box in the uk were awful, my friend had 4 on the trot replaced, upon turning it on straight from the box, BOOTLOOPS, lmao, she soon ditched it and demanded a blackberry, i dunno which is worse LOL, then theres the terrible screen issue made of FEATHER glass, drop it from more that 3 inches from the ground and thats ya screen done for..........
What i did love, was how easy it was to customise, flash, reflash, revert to stock, flash, Wow, it really was childs play, this phone really was unbrickable, and i think that was its best feature, but still were very lucky, if Dell had never made and failed with the streak we may never have seen the GNote, SAMSUNG YOU ROCK......GOD BLESS AMERICA, AT&T you suuucccckkkk mannnnn.
I still have my Streak but I really enjoy and like my Note.
Mine should be here Dec 23
Ordered it from Amazon, should be here Friday.
I was also one of those that emailed at&t, and got the same "we screwed up" calls from them saying that it was a computer issue, so after seeing others get the same response, fingers crossed...I ordered it.
One way or another, it WILL work, or at&t will get another call back (lady gave me a number to call back if I had issues)...
Bought my Streak Oct 2010, rooted it to install 2.2 after waiting for at&t to do something, Dell to do something and just did it myself. After various tweaks...it's about as far as I can go. It's been a pretty good device, never really had any issues other than pretty much zero carrier interest or manufacturer interest...when Michael Dell pretty much said screw Android, that was it for me.

what is the deal on LTE for AT&T? Should I wait for the AT&T LTE version - or just go ahead and buy the UK version from Amazon?

Do they have LTE in your area? If that is a benefit to you, then hold off and hope at&t actually gets it here in the 1st quarter of 2012. Me personally, H+ is about all we'll have for a while, I don't see the market I'm in getting LTE until 2014, if their slow rollout of H then H+ was any indication. Most of the time, other than checking a few emails, maybe a webpage or weather radar, I use wi-fi or hot spots, so the LTE version wasn't a consideration. Also, the branded at&t version won't have the home button, but the 4 capacitive buttons like the streak does, that is if you believe the leaks on the net, plus, I don't think at&t has a branded android device with a home button? or maybe it has something to do with some goofy patent that Apple has LOL.

Ya know - I dunno? I am in NYC/NJ area. Would think we are getting LTE early in 2012? How do I find out?

I considered the same thing, and got my Note just 2 weeks ago. (I'm in Baltimore)
We do have LTE here(baltimore city), though not where I live(though since I have wifi at home, that point is mute)
I decided to jump on the unlocked deal since I'm out of contract already, and wanted to use a iPad SIM for data only use. I use google voice for text/talk.
It's almost for sure that when ATT gets the Note it will have the snapdragon processor and NOT for exynos. It will possibly loose the physical home button. It will have horrible battery life(or at least worse then H+ version), just as Verizon LTE phones do.
I'm not willing to give those things up for ATT/locked down phone. H+ is very satisfying when browsing and watching netflix. Besides downloading files, I don't see where I need that kind of speed on the go. In Baltimore I get 6-7 down and 1.5-2 up. Not to shabby when I am just loading a few megabytes at a time to check gizmodo or watch a flick.
"Me too" - or rather I will be once the Note arrives. I have had a Streak since Autumn 2010 and it's been "ok" and I love the screen size - being large and fat fingered myself
I finally ordered the Note after seeing the official confirmation of support for ICS earlier this week. I bought from Amazon Germany on Tuesday and it's already showing it's with my local Citylink ("****tylink") this morning. About £100 cheaper from Germany than Amazon in the UK - or at least Amazon UK fulfilled.
I am looking forward to my Note as my Xmas present even if I was expecting it next week.
It arrived after some issue (Xmas I guess) where it lived in their depot in MK for 36 hours. First impressions: The screen is stunning. Same WxH as the Streak but thinner - once it's in it's cheapo case, it's still thinner.
Merry Xmas all
