Would love that too. At best it would also work if you have left the callerscreen to do something else, so that you dont have to return to the dialer to hang up

Use the XDA app, and navigate to the appropriate forum and post your question.
That's what I do when using the app

that is the reason why i wrote "Sorry for spamming(...)" ... I found the solution i deleted my post.
My tab is on 4.2 and the setting is missing, they was there at first.

To be fair, I had to use Google to find the answer where as forum search seemed unable to find it at all. Just because someone asks doesn't mean they haven't used the search, it may just mean they were unable to find it with the forum search.
Also sarcastic posts about using the search really helps no one, perhaps next time, you can search it yourself, link it and then suggest the person use search in the future.

Is there a way to back up and restore app layouts yet? Have tried searching but not found an answer that's good! Any help and sorry if it is simple and my searching was rubbish.

I want to update to PA 4+ but don't want to loose my app layout.....
1. Does XDA not help these types of problems?

You have to go and post at the other nexus 4 section for q&a. This section is strictly for development of Roms, kernels, etc.
