CM 7 contact specific ringtones - myTouch 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Help..... Is anybody having any problems with specifying certain ringtones for certain contacts with CM 7 RC 1?
I was having no problems with ICED GLACIER, but it is not working with CM 7. Does anybody have this working, and if so, what were the steps to do it? Thank you for your help.

sound on voip apps go to external speaker problem

hi,
i tried many ROMs on my ZTE BLADE V2 yoigo (ES) and all had this problem, including the stock one.
When using Viber or MobileVOIP the sound would go to the external speaker and not the internal one!!
I only use the phone to make VOIP calls and internet so this is a big issue.
The problem was long discussed over the cyanogen, code.google.com/p/cyanogenmod/issues/detail?id=2858
One guy, at #55 offers a libaudio.so which appears to fix this problem. Can it be inserted on this rom??? (which from all other tested, stock, cyanogen 7.2 kang this one appears to have the longest battery life)
thanks for any advice.
PS:
1. I tried the trick with opening the Radio App and closing it, does not work with this rom
2. I tried overwriting the libaudio.so inside the zip, copied the rom to the phone and installing it but it fails saying bad zip, something like this..
3. anyone can confirm a ROM version for ZTE that has this problem fixed?
CyanogenMod has this problem fixed, it's not easily possible to fix it on ZTE roms. You'd need to compile your own fixed libaudio.so a CM7 one wont work due to it being compiled for vmsplit3g & other cm7 modifications.
You can use the native gingerbread sip/voip calling feature in ZTE Gingerbread roms, as long as you're using a cm7 or aosp contacts/dialler rather than the zte version, that works ok, it's just 3rd party apps.

[Q] CyanogenMod or any AOSP on D802 -> signal problems

I am a big fan of AOSP roms and CyanogenMod in particular, I bought my G2 D802 only after the CM was released for it
Unfortunately for me I received one ****ty problem with CM (or any AOSP Rom) - A phone call is interrupted while I'm moving (usually about 3 minutes after I started to move). I think it happens exactly when phone switching from one base station to another, because it tend to happen in particular places
I tried to install different AOSP roms (any version of CM, Vanir, etc.), different radios from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451426 , nothing helped
Has anyone faced a similar problem? or have any ideas how to fix it?
Thanks in advance for any help!
P.S.: any rom on the basis of stock lg d802 is works fine (e.g. CleanROM XE)

[Q] WiFi/Audio/Phone not working after installing custom Rom

Complete noob here but I finally Rooted my phone. I tested PAC Rom, CM 10.2, and then Carbon Rom and each time I get the same issues. My Wifi and Bluetooth don't work, doesn't even scan for signals or devices. I have no audio sound, nothing at all. I can't receive calls without it FC but I can make them, however, its difficult to do because the dialer seems to freeze up when dialing and calls will fade in and out. Each Rom seems to be the same. Cant seem to find any device specific info so if anyone can help I would appreciate it. Thank you
Incase anyone wants to know. The issue was because I was running 4.4 when I installed a Rom for 4.3. Just flashed factory settings for 4.3 and installed the rom after that. Works great now.

[Q] Terrible In Call Quality [CyanogenMod]

Hi! I recently have installed the following ROMS on my i9500:
CyanogenMod 10.1
CyanogenMod 10.2
CyanogenMod 11
All three of these roms are giving me terrible in call voice quality. I would go back to stock 4.3 but my back up did not work. I tried clearing the cache/wiping dalvik/factory reset.
Is this a common problem/glitch that most people are known to have occur with CyanogenMod roms? If so, can I fix it because I LOVE the rom. It's very smooth. If I cannot fix it, what daily rom/driver do you recommend as an alternative?
Please help, I really appreciate it. Thank you so much!

Custom Quick Settings AOSPA 6

I'm currently using AOSPA 6 on my Nexus 5 and am having a problem. I can't seem to use Custom Quick Settings. I can make them but when I add them they disappear. Is anyone else having this issue? Ia there any way to fix this? Any and all help is appreciated!
No ones using custom quick settings with AOSPA?? I have tried asking in the custom quick settings thread and all signs point to AOSPA being the problem. Any help is appreciated.
Nevermind! I switched to CM13, problem solved! Thanks for the help!
