Ok i was on youtube the other night and i found that they have ubuntu working on the gtab with only bluetooth not working and problems with the touchscreen so..... could this be possible with the vega as they are similar devices.

Yes, ubuntu can be made to run on the vega
I have it mostly working but have hit some problems with Ubuntu 11.04 which makes it not really suitable to release as yet.

I did try to post as a reply to the Ubuntu on Adam thread.
I did try to post a new thread under rom development.
I am a veteran developer with my own Adroid apps. (wont shamelessly plug)
So here it is and I hope someone moves this to the right place.
The chips inside the Adam with information. This is critical to the devs so they know what they are working with/on. This will help the Ubuntu on Adam devs so they can get a native kernel on the NI platform.

Hey all am a new android user.... i just put hands on xperia x10 bought it yesterday !dont have any before experience in adnroid! i spent last 3 hours rooting ....installing busybox ....emulators everything i successfully made BT5 boot up....depend on anantshri he needs testers ! so am here ! sorry i made new thread cuz im new user cant post replay .....and new in this forum .....i have photos too how i boot it and everything ..

secondly i would suggest you to get involved with the community and read and react on what's there is general and Q&A section, you will soon be able to contribute on Dev section also.
I would prefer if we keep discussion in one thread so that everyone benefits.
as far as help i need is concerned,
I need someone to check which software can work which of them are causing problems. both at GUI and console level so that i can work on a customized image file containing only working software.
note : web/wpa cracking will not work so don't try that.

OK thanks for replay..... how i can test the tools ? most of them are about networking and pentration(am confused cuz it need an ip address wirless is not working nor i can plug a cable) ....can you tell me for example : tell me which software nd what do ? basically the command and i tell you the results ....

i've rooted my P6210 Samsung Tab and am trying to install the CWM. i saw there was a "free" version of Odin and d/l the .apk. They also mentioned that i needed to d/l the KernelFlash as well, which i have.
Does anyone know where i need to place these files on my Tab so that i can run Odin and install CWM?

Dearest Senior Member, priyana / you do not know how puzzled i have been to not find any reference to any P6210 Tabs in this forum and have spent the last ? hours looking for a forum, sub-forum, sub-sub-forum, anything, which remotely contains references to my P6210. i got a really big laugh out of your post.
