Hi,
Today when i was going to call my mom, my genius DHD decided to call Feliz, a bar/club in my city. I don't even have their number!
Oh, the phone also thought it would be awesome if it started Songbird when i was listening to the HTC music app. You know, 3D sound... HTC, you fail
Has anybody else had this problem?
Yes I had it the day before when I pressed one of my last calls in the dialer it selected a random other contact and called that one instead. I immediately hang up, tried it again and it happened again. The 3rd or 4th time it got it right.... It never happened before or after yet...
Wow that's really a weird bug. Glad I haven't experience that bug (yet)

Most probably this is a network problem
This haven't happen again (today), but i'm almost forced to check the screen everytime i call somebody.
(Sorry about my english today, i've had a "couple" of beers.)

Bazooka...change your name to Booze-acher! XD Anyways the bug must be due to a program you may have in common? Or touch screen defects?
I think it's mostly network related problems.. Had it before on my nokia..
The touchscreen is perfect. I haven't installed apps that can cause this behaviour. Haven't had any problems after that "episode", but i'll report it if it happens again.

Couple of beers? Your problem may be in that area then ;P

Hahah, it happened before the beers. I was actually on my way to the store to buy the beer But it didn't happen again while i was on the bottle, so i hope it were a one time thing.

There you go - a solution! If it happens again, you know what to do
On the serious side - I haven't experienced anything like that, but I noticed that on HTC's dialer (both on WM and Android) there is a delay in noting the number you call last, so when you use the list, you may press the right contact, then the dialer puts your last call on the top of list, all the last calls get scrolled one position down and you end up calling the wrong number. Hope I explained it right. It's really simple and very weird at the same time.
Happend to me the othere day too, tried to call somebody, and it seems to have called somebody else.
The number on the display was correct though, which is weird.
Has only happend once though.
The funny thing is that the number it called isn't on my phone. So it called a random number. Which makes it even weirder.

Has not happened to be, yet.
It should be a rare issue though i hope!

Then it's most likely a network issue.

^^ wow it was just a joke...
Maybe your mom forwards her calls to the club.
To chime in, this also happened to me and three other mates, and we all have the DHD. On a couple of occations, we've dialed complete strangers when trying to reach each other. Same story; dialing from either speed-dial or using the contacts app, and the number dialed does not match the person on the other end.
We have the same carrier though, so I'm pretty sure this is a network related issue, but it's weird that I haven't heard of this happening with any other phones that other friends have.
What carrier do you have? I have Tele2.

I was wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this issue. I am currently running the latest cyan 7 nightly but i do recall it happening 2 other times on cyan 7 RC4 and RC1. I am not at all saying it only happens on cyan, i am just showing when and how it happened. All 3 times it happened my battery was below 10% and i restarted my phone to have the issue occur. It seems as if every button on the screen would choose the exact mirrored opposite of itself on the screen. If i would press the phone icon on adw the default on the other side wich happens to be internet browser would launch. If i pulled down on the notification bar the app drawer would open and so on and so on. the only thing that was regular was when i would press an option in the main menu such as wifi or location, basically anything that didnt have an option next to it that it could switch to. after a few minutes i restarted the phone again to have the issue go away as fast as it started. It was not only in adw for those wondering it was anything that had an option next to it, such as pressing favorites in the browser and it would launch whatever is opp of it, settings i think im not positive at the moment. Oh well i just figured i would share some of my story with all of u in case it somehow starts a topic or even some how helps somebody out in any way. thanks, veritas

I work for a cell phone repair company and we recently had a G2 come in with heavy water damage. after doing the water damage treatment the phone powered on, everything working fine.
I powered it off to put my SIM into it to test the call functionality and when it powered back up the entire touchscreen was backwards, even the softkeys at the bottom.
we replaced the digitizer and that fixed the issue, so maybe T-Mobile or HTC will warranty it if its a bad digi
Every time I answer a call, the person on the other line does not hear me if I speak as soon as I answer the call. Is any one else having this? I have to call someone, wait till they pick up, say hello, hello. They catch the second hello every time. I can't help but think this is not normal.
This is not an issue of the case or bumper as I do not change the level of my voice when this happens.
I have excellent call quality. I do not have the buzz or the mute issue. I do not have any call quality issues at all.
I started another thread to discuss the issue I am having. Mods, feel free to move the responses into here and delete my other thread.

ok... I thought I was the only one having this issue. I have to say hello twice all the time. I just thought I was too quick to say hello, but it's been driving me crazy!
also, it happens regardless of the ROM I'm running. I guess I just have to get used to pausing for a few seconds when I answer the phone before saying hello... or just keep saying hello twice
I also had the same problem with my GNex on AT&T. I'm just now used to taking a breath after answering before saying anything.
I'm having this problem as well. I don't hear them neither do they hear me for about 4 seconds.

This happens to me on t-mo..happened on my GS2 as well. I noticed that if you wait until you hear the unlock sound after answering the call they can hear you.
Yes noticed in my nexus 4 after i got it, its kinda annoying, i want it fixed!
I also do have the buzzing in the phone, but its really low only hear it when theres no sound, doesnt really bother me...

As soon as u answer if u wait one second and say hello they'll hear it i noticed it too but as soon as it goes from 0:00 to 0:01 they could hear don't think it was serious enough to make a thread but hey I'm not judging

HAHA I really thought I was the only one with this problem. Do any of you guys get random hanging up? Like you know FOR SURE you have good reception and that you never touched the end call but the phone hangs the call up anyway once in awhile.
having the same problem with the call delay as well, on ATT. the Gnex didn't do this
I have the problem but it is only for a split second so if I just wait a sec before saying something it works as it should.
Ok this is odd as I have the same problem and thought it was due to my using Groove IP or Talkatone. It sounds like it may be a hardware issue or a JB issue.
This is a very concerning problem. I hope it is fixed ASAP.
looks like a sw issue ....had the same on my Samsung Spica i5700 which was fixed by the devs on samdroid
Same issues! What the heck!

Very annoying. In the end it is a phone, what on earth it can't do it right on the basic function as a phone. Hope more people raise the concern and push Google to fix that. Otherwise RMA is on the way.
Yep happens to me also, hopefully will be fixed soon but not a big issue.

Maybe its just my phone that's got a problem, but when I answer the phone the person on the other end doesn't hear my voice for about 5 seconds. So I have to say 'hello' three times. Any one else getting this? Or any idea on a fix.
Not noticed. Maybe you pick up and put your handset to head a lot faster than me
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
I have this, I also had it a couple of handsets ago on my desire hd. You get used to it, answer phone... Wait a second, say hello.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
Actually I think I have this bug, but it's not 5 seconds ... maybe 1-2 max ...
Weird, I'll do some more testing to see
yeah, me too. i reckon it is about a second though.
never noticed this on previous phones.
Me too, but only for 1 second, so doesn't bother me at all
There's an option in the dialer settings to have it vibrate on call connect and disconnect. I haven't paid much attention if it vibrates when answering a call but I'm pretty sure it does. I haven't noticed an issue.

Hey XDA!,
So today i dropped my phone in a little bit of rain.. it didnt shatter. or anything.. physically not even a ding (i am surprised too) but after when i tried to make a call i couldnt hear a thing unless i put it on speaker or use headphone. Im not sure the other person can hear me either.
I got this phone as gift. So when i called google they want the email adress of that person which i dont have and been trying to contact that person.. no luck. so called lg and they will chrge me.
Any ideas??
EDIT : just tried to call using viber. and earpiece works. Not when on a regular call tho

I've had some strange issues with my note 3 and wonder if anyone else has similar
My note 3 takes random screen captures or will dial one of my contacts without notice
I have a pattern lock screen so I know my phone isn't unlocking
Anyone else having similar ?

Had some issues with mine today,I did Restore to Default and things are working fine, just try though and you could be lucky or else wait for the OTA update to fix the issue!
So glad it's not just me .. Did you reset your whole phone to default ie factory reset or just the phone settings and if the phone how did you do it ?
I've added an app called call confirm to ensure I don't accidently dial
What a weird issue ?

Thanks for letting me know about that app and I did factory reset,I use my iphone a lot so used the term Restore to Default. The thing is you have to delete everything off your phone if u got it and u should be ok I believe!
When the original Galaxy Note arrived, there was a problem called Ghost touch, which operated screen touch on its own and it affected only 1/3rd of owners so Note series is prone to such issues, dont worry!
Your welcome will we have had our fair share of issues reboot and ghost dialing .. Not good for a flagship handset but im sure Sammy will sort it ..... Glad it's bit a fault but probably a software issue which will be fixed in time to done
Love the note 3 had one and two and so far bar a few gremlins this is the best handset so far

Hey,its alright buddy!Ahh,I have had some worst issues with my S4 and took many hours to sort it out despite being an E&C engineer so this is less than a problem for me.Basically yes, facing such issues on flagship handsets gives us the creep but we cant help.
Yes,its one of the best handsets, hopefully some rooting in the near future.
Best of luck!

I use an iphone 5 too and I agree that the screen is a bit small and thats one of the reasons why people are stuck with Android but its really cool and both have advantages over each other.
Anyway,where are you from,buddy?
