Rotos JME quadrant score of 1005 - Galaxy Tab General

Ive just flashed rotohammers rom and debloated it. Getting very jerky menues and an incredibly bad quadrant score of 1005.
Any ideas? Could it be a filesystem thing?

Factory reset? Wipe?

Hi, a score of 1000 is normal unless you install modaco's kernel that perform ext4 filesystem conversion where you should be hitting 1700++ or the 1.4/1.2 oc/uv kernel that overclock the tab which gives you over 2200++ at the expanse of hotter device and shorter battery lifespan.

yeah, but my scores on jk5 were substantially higher...

Or u could try JMI, default is 1484 using ext4

how to overclock and gain maximum battery and performance

Hi everyone... i have samsung galaxy S I9000 base rom JVP 2.3.4 and CWM recovery 3... its rooted can anyone suggest me how to gain maximum battery and phone performance ...
which is the best Overclocking app
and wat are the frequecy to be set
please advice me how to gain maximum phone performance and battery performance...
Thanks in advance
wondering the same thing.
could any one give detailed instruction?
maybe u should try a based rom (JVQ or JVR) and a kernel (like galaxian EE or semaphore ) + JVR modem
Use odexed JVR on latest galaxian kernel, there are good odex themes (I use EE SP1 clocked to 1.1ghz via tegrak. This is a minor OC but voltage at 1.1 is lower than standard 1.0 ghz!) remove all the crap bloatware (I remove loads of stuff and all samsung apps using sgs chlorine) use zeam launcher (fast, lightweight). Use setcpu for screen off profiles and also juice defender.finally, convert to ext4 then back again to rfs to clean file systems. Then calibrate battery, use noop scheduler. This will give you a very fast phone with great battery life

thanks a lot dude let me try will hope this works fine
gsw5700 thanks for the sugession ... but i am confused wen i check for this kernel .... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1196391
it says flash it if u have ODEXED JVR ROMS only!!! but my rom is JVP
please let me know how to go further and also let me know is the camera application is stock galaxy or hacked camera
thanks in advance
Flash odexed JVR, then you can flash this theme (that I use). Then flash chainfire 4.1 kernel to get root, then flash latest galaxian kernel. Use setcpu and juice defender to get good battery savings
Don't forget to hard reset/wipe after flashing jvr, tick to re partition, wipe both caches and fix permissions after flashing galaxian

thanks dude i have followed the procedure... let me check the performence
it gave me 16 hours of battery life .. and performance was stable

Why not just stay on ext4?
RFS will defragment after a while (depending in usage), I like to defrag file systems every month or so. I haven't actually tested it, but hope it will provide additional benefit. I also like to use it for a while whilst on ext4 to prove that ext4 doesn't feel any faster at all than rfs!!

I also suggest Galaxian. It's pretty neat.
So how long battery life do u guys get on undervolted galaxian?
Im on JVR w/ talon kernel OC'd to 1.2 and UV'd and i barely get 2 days of little use.

Because some kernels don't need any lagfix actived
It's not about fixing lag, that is just terribly outdated but traditional terminology.
RFS isn't slower than ext4, but the letter is still the better filesystem by it's journaling and fragmentation behavior.
In a nutshell: you don't have to convert to ext4 to have a smoother device, but you might still want to do so if you want a better file system running your device.

I get about one day of medium to heavy use and a day and a half if I don't do much. I lose about 2-3% battery over night (using juice defender)

my signature tells the setup. undervolting for the lower frequencies helps. Also check out Zach/picachu's screen state scaling and system scripts. Combine with the latest talon kernel and you are set. Tegrak aop is optional for overclock above 1200

READ RULES BEFORE POSTING.....
Ok so i noticed there is no official tread in the Gt540 section and im a quadrant addict.
I will update the post with the higest scores so we can see what mods, themes etc can be used to speed up our phone.
So here are the Rules...
1...State What Rom. (Swiftdroid,etc)
2...State What Mods and if its overclocked. (V6 supercharger,etc) ( 825mhz etc)
3...State What Quadrant App. (Advanced,standard,etc)
4...All Scores mentioned MUST have a Screenshot.
5...Keep it clean and classy.
6...Try keep it English, use Google translator and we will figure out your post.

Mod: ODEXed, V6 Supercharged(Balanced 3), Loopy Smoothness Tweak
App: Quadrant Standard.

It doesn't reflect on user performance. In fast, 2.1 roms are smoother in user interface and graphics

All you have to do is uncheck "Apply on Boot" and reboot your phone, you'll have your default settings back
On my 2.2 stock & rooted i was getting around the 400 - 450 area. Now I'm running indroid 5.2 with the fugumod kernel that came with it at 1300MHz and I'm getting 912
With my stats mentioned in my Signature, I have Quadrant score of 710+
quadrant score
I've got an quadrant score of +-800 with dutchmods 3.0 with fugu ultra
you shouldn't trust quadrant u should just test everything with multiboot/kernel zips and feel for your self what is the fastest i can get my quadrant to 1000 just make everything ext2 and type this line in terminal emulator:
mount -o rw -t tmpfs tmpfs data/data/com.aurorasoftworks.quadrant.ui.standard

Quadrant Samsung Galaxy S

Hello evetyone, i've flashed extraordinary ICS ROM with Semaphore Kernel, and I notice that with my last ROM (Darky's) the result was 2000-2200 and now it dropped to 1800. Should i come back to the other rom or is this normal and i stay with this?
Quadrant is nothing. Don't trust it, those numbers doesn't mean anything at all is it 1 or is it 99999... you should care how your phone acts,is it laggy ,or blazing fast. I had rom where i scored about 1400,but it wasn't any diffrent from darkys in terms of speed.Don't use quadrant to check is yor phone fast,it doesn't show that good!!
If you are worried, convert to ext4, I run stock jvt on semaphore 1.8.1 with tweaks and get 2800+ at 1ghz
More important is the fact its very fast and stable

Worst reason to not use a new ROM ever.
And just so you know, Titanium Backup has a batch feature (Menu > Batch), so you could have just set it to install all your backups and let it do it's thing.
Quadrant score are just wierd no.s nothing else. i use doctors rom. Its butter smooth and i just forgot the meaning of the word 'Lag'.

Quadrant is probably the worst way to compare different devices, but it's pretty much the only way we have. A bit like the benchmark programs for computers (*cough*3DMark*cough*).

[I9300] Post your benchmark scores

The name tells everything. This thread will help you to find the best ROM and Kernel if you're looking for pure performance. The best scores will be listed in the second post.
Post your whole setup you're running and screenshots of the scores.
Antutu and Quadrant scores would be great.
Please list the:
-ROM you're running
-Kernel
-CPU frequency
-I/O scheduler
-
So it's time for me to post my own scores:
Setup:
-Omega 6.0
-Siyah 1.2.6
-1700mHz
-VR
Current top scores from Sak500
Setup: Blackstar V2 ROM with Perseus kernel
-Omega 6.0
-Siyah 1.2.6
-1704mHz
-noop
Currently on perseus kernel @ 1800mhz
Blackstar v2 ROM
Please can anybody post their stock firmware benchmark results. I am getting very low results in the ranges between 8000 to 9000.

Friend I have checked that my power saving mode is disabled and still i am getting the same results. And also my Antutu tells that my S3 runs on ArmV7 with triple core. Is this a bug or really my phone has triple core not a quadcore? Can anybody confirm it? Thanks for your help friends.
Can you add what the highest score holder is running to the second post. This way we dont have to search through the pages to find out.
In this case its easy while the number of pages is low but to help going forward.
Edit: Also does it make sense to have a quad core high bench as well as a dual core??
Love the post, thanks.
