I know how to restore apps and their data with Titanium.
But how do you restore the widget and app shortcut settings with titanium? I don't want to do a FULL restore since I'm going between ROMs, but I want to know how to restore the widget and app shortcut placement as well as the app data,
I use Nova launcher so when I restore it with Titanium it includes all my Folders, Shortcuts and Widgets. The key is to restore all the relevant apps first then restore and launch Nova. If you do a dirty flash to switch Roms then you don't have to restore any data. If you do a recommended full wipe first then Google will install all of the apps you loaded from the Play Store. If you also have Amazon apps you need to reinstall their app store and reinstall those apps. As far as app data is concerned I don't know of any way to get it back without Titanium.
Helium for the win!
Guys every app that I restore from titanium backup using app+data or data only force closes on TouchWiz. Although this doesn't happen when I use Gear CM rom.
Please help!!!
