HTC 1.48 WWE Test ROM

There is a 1.48 WWE Test ROM in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=578920.
The file is posted by SatScan.
I have been trying it out since yesterday evening.
For me the device has better reception, there is a new build of Manilla 2.5, plus some bugs have been fixed.

yes it can. but we dont know any of the consequences of fllashing it yet.
it could be timebombed,
it looks like theres multiple languages of the test rom appearing, so maybe it well become a 'ship' rom..

Do you have enough battery?
As it is known that the flash stops working after a certain percentage...

So, is it worth flashing at your opinion?

Cant flash it here, complains about Vendor ID.
I have a UK model one of the 1st batch from Vodafone UK, stock rom 1.43.405.1 (701240 WWE.
ROM date: 10/26/09

You are out of luck sorry you'll have to wait for hardspl to be hacked so you can flash original htc firmware.

No problem waiting, it's confusing tho how some people with UK phones can flash and some cant, any idea how they differ?

There is really no need to start a new topic for every little detail ppl, a thread already exist where you must have downloaded the ROM, try to keep your questions there otherwise it ends up all over the place.

For Changing your rom it seems u are a complete noob.. so for ur info.. you can only flash roms for buzz on ur buzz u should not flash roms from other devices till u become an expert and want to experiment..these are like updates or firmware upgrades...Custom roms which are not yet here..are roms to satisfy various personal tastes in a device..

THis is not 2.2 it is Android 2.1 eclair .. its in Englsih language..

Here is one for UK i am not sure if its Generic i am in India and can not try it as of now as the phone is not yet rooted..anyhow coming back to your question..

WWE roms are World Wide English and not any other language its very easy to Flash a Generic original Shipped rom .. if u want you can read my guide which i will post now..

2.2 will be out in about a week or 2 for the wildfire they say, but if they make a mess of it like they did with a few custom 2.1's I will be upset lol. can't wait for it tho.

Hello ,
i got a vodafone HTC Wildfire in germany.
I like to debrand this and put the official HTC for germany/europe/Worlwide/ Version with german language support on it.
is this the official HTC Version?:

Can i use it with a goldcard? So i don't need goldcard if i see the flashing guide
And does someone get the german branded Vodafone version?

Ok one by one :: The ROM you have posted looks official but its surely official if its from Shipped-roms
You dont need a goldcard as of now..you can flash as in the guide..

where can we locate our RUU,it only shows ROM and how do you extract RUU and ROM.

rename the .exe to .zip and extract
then you will find your .nbh's
one is RUU_signed.nbh and the other is SPL_signed.nbh

Sorry what i mean is from my hd 7 already found RUU and the ROM it's in the bootloader right?so how do we extract it from our device and convert it to custom like ansar ,cotulla and the rest.Seems interesting to hack or develop like them.

you can't get a rom from a wp7 phone (like you could with wm phones)
I also still don't understand what you want , al the rom's ansar has are just stock rom's.
as I see ansar only replace imfgs.bin from other stock roms so that you have different radio/spl
the only stock roms that can be modded as of now are pre/nodo roms (we have no tools to mod mango roms)
thats way ansar rom's need to be updated to mango AFTER flash.

actually i was thinking how do they create the custom rom that's all.

If you want official WinMo ROM you can download it directly from HTC website, Radio is included.
The Android version you are looking for it is called NexusHD2 v2.7. It is very stable and compiled from source of Nexus One.

heyyy dude problem is that when i type my serial no. of mobile and submit it then it says that this not for u r mobile some thing like that so tell me what to do plz post some direct link to download both andriod and windows mobile roms ok and i m asking for that rom for andeio which works smoothly and has no clause ok plz help me .. i also read the forum bt i cat understand all the things ok i m so worried for my mobile

If website say that it not a ROM for your telephone then you are doing something wrong.
Make sure you select the right phone from list in htc website or that you enter the right code number.
You can not have both installed in NAND. You can find NexusHD2 if you just search. If you want to have both install WinMo and find an SD Android version to put in your SDcard.
It is not easy for us to explain you in 1 post what we have learned by reading countless times the threads here.
If you can't find any solution by yourself then try finding some friend of yours who understand better and help you.
Else you can always find someone to pay to fix your device.

Without wishing to appear rude it is a tad difficult to understand you.
Ii believe you are unable to download the correct official rom for your device. this is sometimes the case that your serial number is not accepted by htc as they offer different roms for different carriers.
try getting YOUR official rom off of this thread. good luck.

There are no tmous roms on HTC site at all. Only on T-Mobile.com, and it will ask for your IMEI not serial.

asterixhashir < you can flash back to the original rom that was intended for your hd2.
don't mess around with android roms if you don't know how to do your own homework.
download the the original rom for your t-mobile hd2 and open the exe file with winrar - extract the file "RUU_signed.nbh" and rename it "leoimg.nbh" - copy this file to the root of your sd card - restart your phone while holding on to the volume down button - then follow the steps and your back home with windows mobile. - then you can sell your hd2 and buy a android phone.

as I know , if it's the orginal rom of your phone , you'll be able t0 flash back everytime you want.

Hi fellows
I have downloaded the newest ROM from HTC website and i start to upgrading, but after 1% in progress, my phone just restart and i see:
"Your OS ROM isn't customized for your hardware. Please reflash the proper ROM code or contact the service center."
I already tried to hard reset this phone, and tried to install this ROM from SD card as well. Unfortunately, i still have this txt on screen and cannot do anything to recover old ROM. I tried a trick with removing battery for 15 minutes, but without any positive results.
Can anyone try to help me? :/

Finnally, i found a solution. I downloaded so many older ROMS, and only on works.
Unfortunately, i cannot say which ROM was good, i was so tired and forget to write a version of this ROM. However, it was not original stock ROM.
