Random reboots - Atrix 4G General

Anyone else is having it or just me?
My device randomly reboots a few times a day.
I tried factory reset and not installed any third party apps, but it is still happening from time to time.

Are you using a task killer? Launcher Pro?

No on both. I even did a factory reset and without any third party apps it happened. I think I am going to exchange it.

There is a method to do a hard reset posted somewhere. Maybe that will help.
Mine was rebooting after doing root, installing LauncherPro, and Advanced Task Killer but after a system reset, it's been good for over 24 hours now.
Sorry to hear your having issues.

Argh phone is rebooting itself every 30min

Just noticed this with phone on my desk at work keeps rebooting about the 4th time now! Just not long debranded to 026 cant think of anything ive installed apart from ambienthome? anyone else had issues with it
Nope.
I got rid of the restart problem by doing a reset to factory defaults, others had a taskkiller that was causing it,and someone had a battery issue.
Edit: forgot to ask: did you try to remove the ambient home and see if the problem is still there?
Removed flyscreen seems ok sofar phone starting to lag bad though typing away and the text appears 5 sec later. Factory reset I think probs the amount of apps ive had on and off the phone lol

G2 locks up frequently

Hi all,
Got my phone a week ago today, the issue started the next day. It happens about 1-2 times per day. Ill lock the phone and when I go to unlock it later, the screen won't wake up. I have to yank the battery to get it active.
Has anyone else experienced this?

sounds like a software bug, its usually something you installed thats running in the background.
-You can try trial by error and try to detect which app is causing it
-Or, wipe the device and start fresh
I doubt it- I don't have much installed beyond stock, just a handful of items that I also ran on my G1.
How does one perform a factory reset on a G2?

I was overthinking it and assumed this required bootloader/recovery - it's in the Privacy section of Settings.
lol, yup thats exactly where it is.

Wierd Screen problem

Suddenly, my phone screen just turns on for 2 seconds, then goes back to sleep
for no apparent reason, (no notifications)
I factory reset it and it still is doing this
Any ideas of what might be wrong?
Gblur 3.5
Same thing happens to me alot. I'm also using widgetlocker but it still does it when disabled.

Weird, I use widget locker as well and have never had an issue like this(not since 1.26).Its most likely an app causing it. Freeze non-stock apps that you have loaded one at a time and see if it stops. I vaguely remember mine doing this way back pre-1.57. Hasn't happened since. In widget locker try checking the (dont allow 3rd party apps to put WL in suspend.) May help on that end.
Edit: Sorry didnt pay attention to your post closely enough. When you say you reset the phone. Do you mean you flashed a clean SBF or just used a backup??

Lockups since installing stock ICS upgrade

Ever since installing the ICS upgrade, my tab freezes randomly, about once a day, usually when starting an app or interacting with an app. This appears to be random and has happened with a variety of apps. When it happens, my only option is to soft reset by holding down the power button until the tablet shuts off.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any thoughts on what I should do to try to fix it? This almost never happened prior to installing the upgrade.

No problems here at all.
I did a reset on mine first, then did the update via OTA. I feel doing a reset first gives a nice clean install of the update.
I really don't mind reinstalling my apps and setting up my home screen, etc.
My tab is running like a rocket with no issues.
I used it from about 10am this morning till after 5 this afternoon without a single hiccup.
Maybe try a factory reset?

Photos keeps force closing

Every time I open up photos, it keeps force closing. Does anyone else get this and is this fixable?

Mine was doing this yesterday. I ended up factory resetting and that fixed it. But, I'm not sure what was causing it. I didn't have any 3d party apps, besides the junk that comes on it.
I am also having this issue. I'd rather not factory reset unless I absolutely have to because I don't want to set everything back up. Has anyone been able to fix this issue?

I tried this, complete factory reset, and still have the issue with the Photos app, but only after I update the app... If I don't update the app it works fine
No one has any updates to how they fixed this issue? I'm OCD about app updates and not being able to update Google Photos is killing me...
sorry. after i factory reset the phone, photos stopped force closing but i was having a lot of other weird issues. apps wouldn't update, just sitting in playstore trying to connect ( on wifi and 4g). wouldn't download from playstore, if they did it was painfully slow. so i downloaded the RUU of the newest software version and flashed that. All of my problems went away after that. But, i'm not sure what was causing them.
