I was wondering if anyone else was having an issue with using Melon on both Wifi and mobile network?
It won't connect or stream no matter what I have tried to do, can anyone give me their input?
I often use this to listen to the latest 100 hits but haven't had any success since I went to V1.0.0
Thanks.
-Friendly bump-
Also I have tried the new 1.0.1 patch from Virtuous yesterday, and I'm still having this problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
So.....
Ok I ended up backing up my phone then flashing both CM7 and Virtuous 0.9 to check to see if they would work with Melon.
They both work so I'm beginning to think it's just something with V1.0 in general.
I'm going to post in the Virtuous thread to see if anyone else may know something.

Hello,
I recently went from Liberated Aria (eclair) to CM 6.1.1 on my new htc aria.
My university requires one to provide a ca certificate (thawte_premium_server_ca) to use their wireless network.
When using the stock rom from AT&T and Liberated Aria (eclair) I would normally convert the certificate in the .p12 format and then put it on the sdcard. Later I would install it and connect to my wireless without any problem whatsoever.
Unfortunately, since I moved to CM 6.1.1 I can't connect to the my university wifi!. I loaded the certificate in the same way as before but now it doesn't connect at all.
Does CM 6.1.1 have problems with this? is anyone experiencing this issue at all? does anyone know how to fix it?
Thanks
Andres
You should run CM7 once. It seems to have covered more of what 6.1 missed. Which may be in this case. Just make sure to back-up everything in nandroid and you have nothing to worry about.
Yeah, I might end up doing this. Especially since this problem I'm mentioning has been a somewhat well-known bug in Froyo, that has been fixed since July 2010 and it still hasn't made it into patched version of CM 6.1.x
However, this thread seems to indicate CM7 will also have some issues:
http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/...85__hl__certificate__fromsearch__1#entry18085
I just tried CM7 and it and it failed as well... I guess it's going back to Liberated Aria - Eclair
:-(
FR008, Froyo, doesn't work either?
Sent from my Aria - CM7 Build 2-5
Finally tried Liberated Aria FR008
It did work!, though wifi would sometimes disconnect and reconnect.
However I've found the best working rom. It's Gene Poole's Liberated Aria 2.2.2 based on the latest ATT update the aria received in the US.
Signal strength is fantastic and battery life is great. So I think I'm sticking with it. There are a few things that need to be fixed, like Apps2SD, but it's pretty good so far.
I was wondering if someone has a working build with the Tmobile Wifi Calling App? I have no service at all at my house and it would be great if someone could help me out. I would rather not get rid of my build as it is the best but if i cant get some help any suggestions would be great.
I am using the Ultimate Droid 3.01 build with the ragpigna 1.7 kernel.

Same here. I recently moved and my "hill" isn't in the tmous coverage area. I have to walk to the end of my driveway every day to make phone calls. As far as builds are concerned, I don't care if I have to switch to some other build, ANYTHING is better than giving up my HD2.
It would appear to me that it doesnt work on gingerbread builds i got the app to run on 2.2.1 but it wont enable. progress?? i hope so!

yeah, when i tried it on a mytouch build it gets all the way to "connecting to tmobile" then freezes. someone said we have to change something in the radio.
Hopefully someone is still working on this. I have 2 HD2's and could replace my wife's BB8220 with one of them if this could get working.
I got it to run (no fc on start) but it wont enable. it has sat there trying to enable for 4 hours now. i was hoping maybe.. cause on the vibrant it sat for 25 min then it has worked since. and only sertain versions work the others fc. im using the ms-vision one. not the ones that say wifi calling apk. im using the jdms build 1.6.2
Hi all,
I have had 2.1.1 running for a couple of weeks now and it's working great, super speedy internet connection. My only issue is when I use the 3G option on sipdroid it sounds horrible. I can't make out a word the person is saying, anyone else having this issue? Any fixes out there?
I know the original radio had this problem, but I thought the Australian radio fixed it, now we're back to it not working.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks,

Hey all,
I am totally new to rooting and I just rooted my Mytouch 4g to the virtuous fusion 1.1.8 rom. Everything works great except for wifi and wifi calling. My wifi keeps dropping. Ive read that I may have to flash the radio to 2.3 but I do not know how to do this and I cannot find the answer anywhere. I've tried to look around and I've googled it. I still come up with nothing. Please help!
Thanks!!!
Follow this guide. It gives you everything you need to know. For Virtuous Fusion, I would try radio version 26.09.04.26 since that's what the dev recommends. If you need help setting up ADB (very easy, takes 5 mins), see this thread.
Thanks
Thanks, I've done everything needed and it went thru successfully. The wifi still isn't steady. Do you recommending trying all of the radios? I dont mean to sound like a total noob but I am as far as this stuff goes. Thanks!

I believe VF has some WiFi issues, so the problem probably isn't the radio. Several other users have reported issues with VF not holding connection to WiFi even when very close to the router. I find I have to restart my phone once a day just to get WiFi to connect. Other users have been said WiFi works fine on other ROMs while on the same radio. That being said, it can't hurt to try the other new radio (26.08.04.30), although my guess is it won't fix your WiFi problem.
anyone else use this combo ? isyncr works on the phone via usb cable, cant get the wifi version to work. any tips ?
Yep
Having the same problem with CM10 and iSyncr. Only works over USB cable, not over wifi. Had the same problem in CM9. iSyncr Wifi hasn't worked since CM7. If anyone has a solution I would be grateful.
Moved to Q&A. Please post all questions there.
Sent from my HTC Glacier using xda premium
I'm having the same issue. After exchanging a couple of emails with their support the problem continues unresolved (and with no clue onto how) even in their latest version
I managed to sync via wifi (pc version) once every few dozen tries, but my last successful attempt was almost a month ago
RUnning CM jellybean and I can't get it to work via wifi or USB - really kind of annoying. and thier tech support is non existant. no matter stock rom or any other rom, nothing works.

After more emails exchanged with one of the devs, I made a lot of tests (trying do get the app to work on a number of combinations of ROMs/OS and and detailed it to them. If this will ever make the app work properly I can only hope
On a possibly related issue, anyone here that reposted this problem with isyncr also have a bug were the wifi disconnects after every few Mbs downloaded (either via file download, app updates, normal navigation, youtube, etc) and the wifi icon is still displayed as if it was connected, and mobile network doesn't kick in if it was turned on beforehand?
Because this is also a wifi related bug that a only very few users reported on the CM and MIUI JB threads. Could it be a bug in a specific stock ROM kernel used as base? What SBF file did you flash (or where is your phone from, in case you didn't flash a Different SBF)? My had a Brazilian retail SBF

Don't hold your breath, I went through this exercise over a 3 week period for the developers to just tell me there was nothing they could do about it, so I gave up using this product altogether.
did this ever get resolved ? still doesnt appear to work for me
Nope. As far as I managed to communicate with developers, they couldn't figure it out, and CM10 users seem not do stumble upon this bug (plus an uncommon combination of Device+ROM+app) very often, so it's a bug that gets no attention
iSyncr is working with latest CM10! I don't know for how many builds since it's been a while I last tried to use it, but I can sync music via wifi now
