Benchmarks are 5-8 % better with netcf3.5. But the whole feel is the same ...

Hey, I have the full WWE ROM and I don't want to flash yet again... Is it possible to remove CF.NET 2.0 and install 3.5 on the current ROM? Or is a version built in the ROM better?

Try them both and you may see some differences....
or wait until beta testers write their reports..

hi swots, i'm triing now that light ROM, it works great but is possible to remove this king of calculator? or is possible to have the corrections cab? i've just finish to reinstall evrything..
or here is possible to restore the backup of light beta 1 in the rom lite beta2?

My dear .. It is 21054 not 20151. The 21054 is the leatest core. It is expected to be the last one for WM6.1. You can find it in: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=547314
It has been cooked for other devices and the members are happy with it. It is will be nice to see WM6.1.21054 for Polaris. It will be nice from you to build it.

Yes - I am familiar with the build and sorry for my finger problems with the version numbers
You may be lucky and have some chef cook this sys in, however all of the Polaris chefs (pcarvalho here and tranminhman at PDAVIET) seem to be focussing their efforts on 6.5 ROMS - looking forwards and not backwards.

6.5 - is beta. Most of people prefer using FINAL product.

But beta 6.5 is much better, faster, stablest and user friendly than 6.1 FINAL

6.5 or 6.1 - the only FINAL product for Polaris is the HTC shipped version for Polaris.
All of the cooked ROMS contain bits from here and bits from there - hacked memory, apps converted from other models and resolutions...... on our device it's all beta really.
I agree with Petulinek - don't get hung up on versions. The 6.5 release by pcarvalho is stable and great, as is the 6.1 release from chavonbravo.

Petulinek, tried 6.5... Not impressed very much, but RAM amount is LOWER then in 6.1. Not good for me.
cr1960, any advanced user ALWAYS tune & customize MS stuff to get MAXIMUM. If understand me.

Hi Zillka - I understand what you are saying, but for a lot of work I don't see any of our cooks creating any new 6.1 ROMS, so I guess you have 3 options:
1. use existing 6.1 ROM; 2. migrate to 6.5 ROM; 3. cook your own 6.1 ROM.

cr1960, tnx for advise. I'm actually diging into kitchens and cooking, but its a little bit like "programming". I'm hardware guru not programming-oriented individual. If i can get HOW to USE kitchen (or customise existing one) to build my own rom, i'll share it. itje currently testing Touch-X for Polaris jn WM 6.1, and i'm waiting for his rom.
PS: Not all cooks like to share kitchens. So i have a little choise.

I tried it but had issues. Screen kept locking up when trying to wake the phone.

Excellent ROM.
Just same problem as you so far: when phone in stand by, it cannot be switch back on most of the time. You have to either remove the battery or reset it...
That'sa pity since all the rest is excellent and so stable compare to other ROMs tested so far...

the sleep of death had many roms in the past.
pdaviet rom was one of the best rom, but i don´t like landscape support
in manila home view it´s ok but in all other views like picture or music it´s not ok
please make a cab to switch landscape support not all people like this

I have deactivated the "automatically adjust backlight" feature, and that might have solved the issue... but need to wait for a day to confirm...

Help needed to translate rom

Well I flashed my device to WWE| Energy Series 21903.
But I want to have Dutch language on my device.
I found this Rom

It uses the same 21903 version As Enery use but this one is actually Dutch
my questions are
Where Can i find The mui Files
Can I export the mui files from [email protected] rom to my windows folder of the energy rom
Do I need to do any registery tweaks to get it working
Someone please help me out, energy rom is the only rom I like but I hate that it's in english, No offence but it's quit annoying
If help can be in Dutch it will be better for me to understand

I'm can say that on a clean ROM 6.5 RAM:~127 mb and ROM:~350mb

Yessss!!! Please give us those clean ROMs!
I am already looking at my bank account to see if I can buy a second hand TG01 or something in near future! I can't wait to play with THAT HUGE free RAM and ROM!!
May be we should start helping you out in finding ways to make it even cleaner and leaner so that we get RAM to good 150+ (greedy? Yes I am!)

I do not know what method You promiss us this ram to increase further ( disabling WM menu ? ) but testing it yesterdy and disablig WM menu I increased ram in tg01 from 110MB to .... 127MB . I am really in dspression

Huge sucess for the TG01 l again! Can you imagine, the available RAM in the stock Toshiba ROM is only 85mb.... Now you increased this too 127mb!!! With all startmenu!
Imagine this on the Windows Mobile 6.1!!!! We have 113mb on boot WM6.1, 85Mb - WM6.5..
Imagine having the extra free RAM, we would have 155MB RAM on WM6.1!!!!
It uses less things, so imagine that free ram on 6.1!!!
Please, please, please Feropont, consoder cooking WM6.1 in the future, it will have so much RAM and ROM with your tweaks!

i tried to flash rom using SDDL+
put this rom in prg folder. rename to tg01wp_00.tsw
then press SDDL+
it start SDDL+ and give error 'file opening error' phone will restart now and i unable to flash
this rom has your new drivers btw?
