I came accross this amazing editting of Handcent SMS App and it looks amazing compared to the default theme in the app.
Code:

I wonder can Anyone theme it this way or release a mod to apply it or something . Plzz
Would love to see this eventuate.

.:MIUI Style Theme:. Beta 1.
(Note: for the MIUI 0.9.30 rom only)
I'd just like to say that most of the images in this theme I did not create/make/manufacture (though i have edited some). I cannot remember where they came from (various users I imagine), but if you recognize any of them as your own or know who they belong to, please post or PM me or something and ill give credit where it is due.
This theme is a compilation of all the icons and backgrounds and stuff that I have enjoyed the most from themes on XDA. They complement the MIUI Rom very well.
Things that it is missing and that I am working on:
- Super Circle Battery MOD (preferred versions are C or I)
- Skinned the other apps throughout the Rom.
At the moment it is mainly icons and backgrounds.
Also, i have removed the backgrounds on certain icons so they look more appealing against a transparent status bar, and some of these icons (noticeably the APN data transfer icons (E,G,3G,H)) look jagged.
This is my first theme (if it can even be called a theme), and i probably don't know what I'm doing. So if you don't like it, just don't download it.
If you want it to be compatible with another Rom, let me know and ill attach a framework-res.zip for it.
If you want certain icons from another theme in it, also let me know, and ill update it.
That's about it, I think.
Chow,
Josh.

I agree, it's always better with screens .
un bon post contient des screens, les spécifications et surtout le lien lol
(a good post contain some screens, specifications and the link of course lol)
Yeah, ill be posting some, i just threw the thread together at the last minute.
Josh.
Which rom is this for? Can't tell if its for MIUI or a different rom

Thanks to all the DEVS on here i appreciate your time and talent, and i would donate to every one of you guys but im not the richest person in the world. I do have a request if it's possible, here goes. I do have a brand new mt4g 3 days old now because of the screen and constant apps crash from my other. Since i downloaded a couple apps from the market and made it much more USER GUI custom rather than roms, because i have found to fail in this department with finding anything that i like (i'm picky, sorry devs, you do make great roms though ).
Attached is my home screen and i was wondering if anyone could make a simple mod (rom) to make the icon boxes transparent? Just show the icons? and remove the clock? I only ask this because I have the clock with beautiful widgets and did download another app for the power widgets. Or is there a simple setting i could mod in terminal? I appreciate it a bunch for anyone that could do this for me thanks a ton and....... (LONG LIVE XDA DEVS AND SUPPORTERS!!!)
I don't know about the clock, but ADW Ex will take care of the icon thing for you.
is that on market or can i get it here?
nvm i found it thanks again!
Launcher Pro as well...
I've been using it since I first got my nexus one and it's fantastic! The developer just added some nice new home screen transitions as well. Very customizable.

I noticed this morning that my themed Market from MikFroyo had changed back to the factory theme. I checked the version number and it did change to 2.3.2.
Anyone else notice this?

i dont like the themed markets. i wish the devs would leave the markets alone. i love the green theme on it. i also dont understand all this black theme stuff too hard to read in the great outdoors. I like the stock dialer but wish it had the contacts tab like the asop roms. I think the asop roms should also support the ##Code# aka epst codes. Who really wants to use qpst to edit your settings for the sprint port settings for streaming....

Keep in mind that, even if they have themed it, you can install the basic apk and that will get rid of the theming.
oh? you can choose whatever color you want... they have themed markets because the green doesn't match a lot of roms... at all. green and black do not mix very well. haha
Fact, black goes with everything.

True, but why do they have to make it transparent too? I replaced MikMarket really fast because of that.

lol. i dislike transparent... i don't get it... all it does is take up more processing power. I have to agree on this one.
True it does... but the green stands out to much on a darker rom
if you like the color or don't want your market to change use Titanium backup to freeze the market updater 1.0 . This will not affect the market but stop it from randomly updating.
Yeah, this happens a lot because the market is updated so often. It's a shame because I really liked the market theme that came with myns ROM...
I really like the transparent market because I like seeing my lw behind it. That aside though it urks me that Google forces these updates without warning and a changelog. I'm sure I could go digging for the changelog but they (Google) could also post it when the market updates.
For some reason I just don't like things being updated on my phone without me initializing it. I'm sure that somewhere in market's "terms and conditions" it states that they have the right to update your software without telling you, but it's still annoying.

Just freeze it in tt backup to stop updates. if its a big update you want thaw out and apply update

#NotReal
..
I'm not too sure myself if this real or not, however what irks me is how people seem to be disappointed at googles lack of "cosmetic" changes.
Really?
It took ios five iterations before making major design changes to their software the- ability to change your wallpaper and implementation of folders. What they added the most was features. What google accomplished with gingerbread most was making the OS look as if it was made by one person and ICS looks no different.
WinPho7 Mango? Still looking square. What was added? FEATURES.
What I look forward to most is the the solution to fragmentation that plaguing the OS and talks of being optimized for dual core devices. At this age of Android design takes a backstage to performance.
Too ugly for you? Slap ADW or Launcher Pro and call it a day.
Top Reasons why its real
1.The lockscreen
2.The Transtion when he opened settings
3.Multitasking menu
4.The Widgets in app draw
5.The Settings menu
6.Screen rotation animation
7.Google apps folder
8.The launcher
why doesnt he just install rom manager and post it on here?
Google wiped it but they were able to get a system dump an there a few devs that have it including the legend Chainfire
the video looks real.. Cool

Does anyone know is it possible to pick certain aspects from themes? For example i would like the notification tray from the midnight black team but i don't want the messaging app to be themed too nor the contacts app!! Iam assuming its not possible and you gotta just apply the whole of the theme?
Anyone?
This would be great. I love my theme but I hate the keyboard. I hope someone knows an answer or this gets implemented in an update.

Yeah on my HTC 10 i could do this! I could view various themes and pick and choose what i wanted from each theme (clock, icons, wallpapers etc) Sadly i didn't really appreciate it until now ha You could also create your own theme from scratch using a template they provide online! It appears Samsung don't do this and you must apply the whole theme
