I might not have understood your question but if I did you disable haptic feedback from settings and sounds.

No problem. Trust me we all have those moments whether we admit it or not

Probably because sounds and display were both under the same menu in 2.1

[REQ] Disable Soft-Key BackLights

I have searched and trolled the forums but have not seen how to do this for the Fascinate. If I have overlooked this I am terribly sorry. I have no need for the SoftKey lights, I tried Screen Filter and this feature does not work for our phone. Does anyone know of an App out a Mod(zip) for this? Thanks in advance for any help on this matter.

Can't we just take MIUI'S idea for screenshot?

THIS IS A DISCUSSION/QUESTION and probably wont fit best in questions section.
People who are using MIUI beta for vibrant right now, you know you can take screen shots by pressing menu and volume down... right?
wouldn't we be able to incorporate that into our existing roms? It would just set a action for what happens when you press those buttons... so anyone willing to give this a shot?
Lol yea but that's gingerbread

Recent applications in the Notifications Bar

Is there any way to get the recent apps in the notifications bar, kind of like the inspire has it. It would function like the home button but it would appear as you pull down the bar. Does anyone know how to do this?

And I said hold down the home button. It does the same thing, just not in the notification bar.
That's the only fix I know of

You going to help him out or argue about posts?
Like I said, that's the only way I know of to being up recent apps. Maybe a theme has it?
Edit: looked into it further and I don't think its possible. Unless someone comes out with a rom that has that feature, long pressing the home button is the only way. I think the app executive assistant has something similar too.

Well, I know about the home burton method, but I like the notification idea so when you guys find something, can you tell me?

There has to be a port from the inspire, or someone can build it from scratch

OMG it's like "Who's on First?"
let's get a nice stable, fast, working ROM on the Aria from CM7 before looking for tweaks to mimic another handset.
If someone had the Inspire, they'd probably see the Aria and want something they don't have, too.

the mysense (yogentouch) rom has this feature.
Speaking of this, is there a way to disable this on ROMs that have it. I hate that about the Inspire. The task-bar/dropdown is polluted enough as it is.
I think widgetsoid has that ability, I'll check and update my post if it does.
Edit: With Widgetsoid you can put your favorite apps in notification bar, but with Smart Bar you can put a button that will bring up a recent apps window. Only two solutions I can come up with. Hope they help.

Sadly, no. But they were the only two solutions I could come up with short of a custom built ROM.

It may work that way in cm7 or other roms, but not in a Sense ROM....that's the issue...

I don't think anyone's ported that feature to Sense.
I wish someone would enable the other LED notification lights in a Sense ROM. That's what I miss from CM
