This is the history of my walla-bye...
I bought this one in USA in January, thinking in use it in Brazil! When I got here there was no way of working. Since there, I've read thousands of pages in xda-developers, from cooking rooms till freezing batteries, I did almost everything. It was originally an 1.2 xda cooked Rom, I tried the AT&T rom, TIM Italian ROM, German ROM, and right now I have a 3.16.50 PTB ROM. Yes! a Portuguese ROM, why not? Radio versions I had 6.24.00 I tried A.20.10, 4.16, 4.21 and nowadays I have a 3.23, but the Brazilian version uses a 3.19.00 which I couldn’t find an executable to download and downgrade.
Ok, let’s go... these are my doubts:
1) Where I could find a RUU 3.19.00 radio version? I need an .exe file, because I don't have a serial cable! Can be in German, English, Chinese, roman, Greek, anything!!!
2) Why I can't download my 3.16.50 PTB ROM to my computer HD via OSImageTool? I am getting the following message:
ERROR
H: 117.66M STORAGE DEVICE (my SD card) contains does not contain an htc sdimage card error opening input file
[ok]
What's the idea? What I am doing wrong? I want to do a BackUp of it, and I can't.
I know, actually I am trying to convince myself, that my walla is a really B1 model which will only work on US. But I still want to try a downgrade radio.

Pois eh, eu tambem naum tenho como atualizar para a sua versao de radio, a nao ser que possuisse um cabo serial para o wallaby. Eu estou procurando um executável que atualize esta versao de radio, na verdade eh um arquivo .exe que roda dentro do windows e atualiza via usb. Da mesma forma eu não consigo fazer um backup da versao de rom, ou seja o sistema operacional, que do partner eh o unico em portugues. tudo que eu consegui foi pegar um igual ao seu e copiar o rom para um sd card e entaum para o meu wallaby, so que eu nao consigo copiar para o computador, como se faz com os outros rom de todas as partes do mundo. A brasileira deve ter algum segredo. Eu, com certeza, agradeço a sua ajuda, e seria legal se vc fizesse o cadastro junto ao xda-developers, pois caso eu precisasse, poderia entrar em contato. Estou ainda pesquisando, mas agora tive problemas com a bateria e estou esperando que um amigo me mande dos EUA uma nova para voltar a usar o meu wallaby. e consegui salvar a rom dele no meu Pc.

entrei aqui - http://lumpistefan.dyndns.org/ - que tem qualquer rom (menos em portugues pro xda1) se ele tiver travado instale uma rom com unlock xda pra poder rodar qualquer chip, ai depois vcs poderam instalar qualquer rom. de preferencia pra rom 2003 final versao 4.01.12 que fuciona certinho com o xda1 e o gradiente partner.
Para fazer backup de rom usem XDAtoos-jeff e copia a rom de dentro do aparelho para o pc e faz o contrario tambem e pode copiar pra dentro de um cartao sd ou mmc, melhor ainda se vc tiver um leitor de cartao cd/mmc
se precisar tamo ai

Unlock Gradiente Partner
Hi,
After a lot of tries, I got my Gradiente Partner unlocked. How I did it:
1) Went to http://www.romkitchen.de/
2) Clicked on the 'Pocket PC 2002 ROM' link.
3) In 'Select your Base ROM' chose '3.16.50 PTB'
4) I chose '3.17.03 ENG O2-Euro' with: 'Original AutoConfig Data' and '3.16.50 Original PTB AutoConfig data'
5) Choset the remaining options as desired with the 'XDAunlock' checkbox checked
6) Clicked the 'Build ROM now' button and when complete, clicked on the 'Download ROM'
7) Run OSImageTool
8) Selected the NK.nb1 file from the down load as 'Source'
9) Selected 'M: 235.33M USB SD Reader as 'Destination'
10) Clicked on the 'Copy' button to write the application ROM to the SD card.
11) Put the SD in the PDA
12) Hard reset, so the the Operating System was updated.
13) Then Programs|Phone|XDAUnlock file removed the SIMlock.
Well, that's all. XDA-Developers is a bless, thanks folks.

Dear Friends,
I have a QTEK A9100 G4 with SIM unlocked.
It´s with the original ROM WM5 PTB with TIM customs.
Everything is working, included when I´m using CLARO SIM.
I´d like upgrade meu cell phone with WM6, but before do a full backup (RADIO, OS, BOOT IMAGEM and all the others ROM that it has), case I have any problem, I can rollback to original state.
Anyone can gimme a wizard to do this?
PS: in this moment, what´s the best WM6 ROM for QTEK A9100?

Tenho um QTEK A9100 G4 c/ o SIM desbloqueado.
Ele esta com o ROM original WM5 PTB c/ personalizações da TIM.
Esta td funcionando 100%, inclusive qdo insiro chip da CLARO.
Gostaria muito de atualizar o meu aparelho p/ o WM6, mas antes fazer um backup total, de tds os ROMs atualmente instaladas no meu aparelho (RADIO, OS, BOOT IMAGEM e tds as outras), p/ caso tenho algum problema possa restaurar.
Alguém poderia me dar os caminhos das pedras de como fazer tal procedimento?
Aproveitando, atualmente, qual é a ROM WM6 p/ G4 mais legal? C/ mais recursos e mais completinha?

Here in forums one member made a super tool its named Wizard service tool , find it and you may do a backup. But you cannot say which system is best I am using Jimm98ys WM6, but now i am trying the TNT 5.0 TouchFLO. So choose what you want.

I'm thinking on upgrade, but I'm not sure yet if it pays the risk.

NTM knowledge, to any of the above.... I recently got my fiance the 6700 and 6.1 runs awesome on it! It runs quick as ever, and being fully installer enabled (everything I've tried to install has worked flawlessly. Everything from her Facebook app, to all the Google apps, and even the GPSToday app!
It basically gives you all of the positives, without any of the (known ) negatives.

So, I´d make an upgrade from wm5.0 to wm6.5 (build 21.501).
My ppc6700 is great.
Here in Brazil, we don´t find much about our device.
My device was a "vivo" carrier... WAS.
I changed to embratel (livre). This is a rare information here.
Nobody (I guess) make this "conversion" ou share informations about this.
Em portugues mesmo, meu ingles não é tão bom.
Passei meu ppc6700 da vivo pra embratel, e atualizei a versao do sistema operacional para wm6.5. Não tive problemas de lentidão ou travamento, recomedo, a não ser se o wm5 já te atenda bem e voce queira manter a versao original.
O aparelho é ótimo, como voce sabe, e tem algumas coisas nele que eu jamais fazia ideia - principalmente a parte de programação de linha. Já fiz a conversão em 2 aparelhos meus, com sucesso.
Voce não perderá sua linha, a programação da linha está em camada diferente.
De qualquer forma, tenha o backup do seu hexadecimal e das configurações das linha. Qualquer coisa, só falar.

Hello.
I need the original ROM for the brazilian provider Claro for P3301. I made a backup before instaling a cooked one on mine but the backup is corrupted and now I want to sell it and need to restore it to original.

Ola! amigo vc conseguiu a rom da claro estou na mesma cituação que vc, preciso dessa rom pois meu aparelho esta na tela de boot e nao aceita nenhuma roma nao ser da claro, ja tentei varias formar, lembrando que meu aparelho estava bloqueado, entao so a rom da claro para salvar mesmo, se tiver ai para disponibilizar fico muito grato, pois ja postei varios topicos em varios foruns e parece que ninguem esta disponivel a fazer essa gratidao por nós, aguardo retorno, se tiver como mande email. Como sei que és tuga, vou responder em português e deixar o texto em inglês em baixo, para que os outros possam ler.
Eu acho que sim, que pode fazer isso, mas não digo que seja aconselhável, pois a probabilidade de a ROM ser ainda mais instável é ainda maior.
O que eu recomendo é que install a stock ROM usando o ODIN, obtenha acesso root, instale a recovery e depois sim, instale a ROM. Deste modo, a ROM terá menos bugs

As I know you are portuguese, I'll answer in portuguese and leave the answer in english below, so other users can read it.
I think yes, you can do that, but I don't recommend doing it, because the chances of the ROM become more instable are bigger.
What I recommend is to flash stock ROM first using ODIN, gain root access, install a custom recovery and then flash the ROM. This way, the ROM will be more bugless.

Do DATA backup in TWRP.
REstore backup of DATA after first boot.
It CAN work but it does not mean it WOULD.
I guess it is 60% chance to work that way.
