Did anyone know any phone book apps like htc sense phone book? I like sense phone book link function, can link up facebook, whatapps, combine serval contact in one contact. As my desire used custom rom CM7. thanks a lot

i want to give up on htc sense for awhile. how can i integrate facebook pics for my contacts without having to do them one by one?

does anyone know what facebook syn data ( on/off ) does in the communication manager? I had it on and had all the pics syned with my contacts. when i put it off i lost the pics. Does this automatically send me notifications like push emails to me from facebook? (even though i have this off in comm manager)
or it just basically updates my contacts to fb whenever i go online to fb like status and pics???

Personally I don't like the HTC Calendar.
I would much rather use the normal Google Android version but a) I cannot find it anywhere on my phone b) I cannot find it to download separately.
There is however a widget for it on my phone but clicking on the widget takes me into the HTC skinned calendar.
Can anyone help?

OK I think I have finally figured out why the CM6.0 or CM6.1 email app does not work with my exchange server. My company loves to block unsupported devices. Aka the iPhone doesn't work only windows mobile is suppose to work by their documents. But i do know that they allow the HTC email app to work on the Evo, and when i was running CM5.08 i was able to use HTC Work Email.apk ... SO Palm, HTC , and Windows Mobile Device Type / Ids are allowed on the server, there is no way i can get the company to change those rules.
Does anyone know how to get a working HTC Sense Email app to work on CM6.1? IF so please tell me how.
Or if you do not think that will work, is there a way to change the Device Type or Device ID Fields for the stock android email app?
Please any help would be awesome. I love Cyanogen and don't want to switch to a sense mod, but my Exchange email is so important.
You can't use any Sense Apps on AOSP
Why the hell are so many people asking to use HTC apps on non-Sense devices??? IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! The only app that I am aware of is the HTC Music app. That's it! You can't use dialer, contacts, browser, twitter, friendster, weather, email, rosie, etc.
It's because of the framework and kernel differences. It'll be so much easier to create an app that is similiar to HTC's than to use the original. Honestly though... if you like Sense UI so much... get a device with Sense UI. It'll be much easier.
Personally i love AOSP, the only reason i was looking for it was because the HTC email app on sence is much better and free. Well and my company doesnt block that email app like they do the stock one.
On the Sense builds it used to sync your personal Facebook picture so that it would show up in the SMS view when texting. However Gingerbread seems to sync everyone else’s but mine, so when texting, the person I'm texting has their Facebook picture, but mine just shows as the grayed out Android (what the contact looks like when they have no picture)
Any way to get it to sync my pic?
Unfortunately, contact cards are not supported on Android, but they are with the HTC contacts app (which is why it works in Sense). It basically links your contact card (you) with your Facebook account.
I'd like to be wrong, but until contact cards are supported, I really doubt you'll get this.

I have 2.3.3 none sense build Rom for my Desire HD, and was wondering if i can find a way to link my contacts with Facebook again like when i had Sense build before... any help would be welcomed thanks.
You can merge a Facebook contact and a normal one, from the menu when looking at one of them.
