You can flash either of these with Odin and use the JPY CSC, works just fine in the UK. If you are interested, this link is to a package I made with the JS5 PDA, JPY CSC and JP5 modem (the UK Vodafone stock modem), I've been running it for some time and it works well: http://www.multiupload.com/Q1O3GP6AJP

I'm in Ireland and using JVO and KIES says its the latest version.
Is it JVO?
Pda:I9000XWJVH
Phone:I9000BWJV2
Csc:I9000O2UJV3
Build date: 4th may
Seems smooth , didnt notice any bugs so far. Battery is ok, it's early to tell. You can root it with cf-root jvh.
Updated now already on samfirmware was jvo now jvh

What were you guys on to get it. I'm O2 Ireland.
Maybe same firmware?
But I'm on JVO....Which is latest according to KIES.
Mine isn't O2 branded but i bought it from them.

Lost XEU CSC after flashing LPF

Ive just flashed LPF on my xeu note
It all flashee fine however ive just checked and i no longer have xeu in my csc list so i cant change back. I only have BRI and TGY how do I get XEU back?
Help me I know samsung void warranties for messing with csc
If I flash back XEU GB with just PDA file will it revert me back to XEU?
Thanks im panicking now
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Good question, would also like to know.
All csc are are a few files based in system so don't worry bout Samsung. Mix of txt and dat files that's all.
Should be able to grab csc files from lpy as xeu is in there
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
But if you flash the bigger package GB rom, will that include the CSC? That's the question.
I ended up reflashing gb, it flashed back fine but i panicked when it came to gb android screen as date was in chinese. it kept crashing i thought omv i did hard rset via home, volume up and power and when it re loaded after hard eset i had xeu back
Ill hang on for xeu ics i dont like the panic

Its in lpy but not taiwan lpf only taiwan csc
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
That's very easy LPF is taiwan and hongkong release ROM so the csc only contains TGY(HONGKONG)and BRI(TAIWAN)You want XEU I think XEU is UNITED KINGDOM So , you need to fully flash the UNITED KINGDOM released rom(No ICS yet) then XEU appears in your sales code and TGY BRI disappear.

Noob! Need help flashing Rom

Hey guys I just picked up my Galaxy s3 today and I noticed it's the Telstra model i9300t and I want to flash original jelly bean Rom without Telstra crap. Can someone please help me?

Here's the sammobiles firmware page for the I9300T but it seems all the firmware for Australia are carrier firmware, I however don't think there would be issues flashing the New Zealand unbranded Rom which will remove the Telstra bloatware.
Or you could just root and uninstall the Telstra bloatware via Titanium.

Debrand Stock O2UK I9505, How?

I will post this here:
I currently have an O2 Branded I9505, I have read all the stuff, and I all I want to do is debrand the S4 to the UK BTU model. I know there is a way, can anyone provide the right info please.
I currently have:
Modem: I9505XXUAMDD
CSC: I9505O2UAMD6
PDA: I9505XXUAMDD
Im not 100% sure what the UK Stock is but can anyone guide me please,
You need to download the BTU ROM from http://www.hotfile.com/dl/209462137/82c78b1/I9505XXUAMDM_I9505OXXAMDB_BTU.zip.html
And flash it with Odin

What branding has yours got as my s4 direct from o2 doesn't have any as far as I'm aware

Its got the o2 splash screen and a few o2 apps are installed. And Dave106, will installing that also change the CSC or will i have to also change that. Im downloading the stock uk rom now.

It includes a new CSC so it should change as well. Its the lastest ROM ATM so installing over what you have now should be straightforward. No resets etc required

Mine is now set to btu, I rebooted again after reloading from the factory reset and it changed in recovery. Kies now sees it as an upgradable firmware and im running the latest rom, which feels smoother. No problems so far

So just to confirm
You loaded the firmware via odin
Factory reset
Reboot and your good to go on btu ?
Is that about it ? No rooting etc
Ii want rid of 3 firmware but don't want to void my warranty on case ... I presume if it's official firmware there is no issue
I always bought unlocked handsets and this is my first carrier handset for years

Yes mate. That's all I did. AFAIK it doesn't void your warranty unless you root/use custom rom. I'm not sure if Samsung would even know if it was originally branded.
I'm waiting for chainfire to get back from his hols, once he's got Cf auto root sorted on MDM ROM I'll prob root then.
I only got mine from 3 as they were cheapest for sim free in stock. I refused to pay the 599 Argos and phones 4 u wanted. I had hoped they were still sending unbranded + unlocked but never mind.

Not sure which is best for updates. I unbranded mine from 3, but with all the root issues I'm staying stock btu until the new root methods are well established and tested. The updates will come to sim free phones soon enough.
AFAIK Netherlands or any others are fine to flash, I prefer to keep to btu myself.

Yep used to be. I heard that the carriers may have a deal with Samsung these days to get theirs first, maybe to encourage contract buying?
I guess the success of the Galaxy S range of phones has made carriers see that IPhones aren't the smartphone everyone wants now. Money is most likely the reason
