is there a way to get the htc music app from the desire build and use it on a cyanogen rom? i really hate the android music player! thanks for the help

[Q] HTC apps on Froyo ROM's without HTC Sense.

Could someone please help me with installin HTC apps like Album, music player, people and so on, on a Froyo without Sense. I am currently running nFinity ROM. I would love to have the People application and Music player on my ROM. Also the album with 3D gallery.

Question about the music app in 2.2.1

I recently flashed a gingerbread rom (the leaked samsung one) and the stock touchwiz music player was able to remember which tab you were last on (ie, if you were on the artist tab and hit back to exit the app, it would open to the artist tab the next time) the 2.2 music player doesn't do this. does anybody know if the 2.2.1 music player behaves in this way?

I just tried.. nope.
Also 2.2.1 is still froyo 2.3 is gingerbread

p.s. Yes I did know that 2.2(.1) is froyo, just curious if they had updated the music app for 2.2.1. By gingerbread I did in fact mean 2.3.

[Q] Cant get music or pics to come up on new cm7 root

I have htc evo and I cannot get music or pics to come up on my gallery or music player. New cm7 destroyer 2 rom. What can I do?

use quickpic for pics, the included gallery is way too buggy and slow. also check for .nomedia files in the music/pic folders
