Remote desktop mobile - h e l p please

Hi People
I'm searching for a great remote desktop mobile for my new HD2 and have problems to find something good.
I'd love to install LogMeIn, but i suppose is impossible at this moment,
This Night i found this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFiDZ_wBAtM&NR=1&feature=fvwp
I suppose is from RDM plus, i install a demo version 3.7.6 and it is very different compared to the Remote desktop mobile from youtube Video.
Where can i find the remote desktop mobile from youtube video?
Need your help, please
Thanks
That's the remote desktop client that comes with Windows mobile 6.5. It's in your start menu, in the tools folder
boss the remote desk top shown in you tube vedio is same as in hd2 .........
its not different ........
Logmein - Ignition works just fine.
or as the others just said - just use the one that came with your HD2.
just wondering whether anyone could help us to set it up step by step...
also just wondering do you have to have a router or it can also work on wireless USB broadband (thats what i have)
I used the theme in our forum for this, but I didnt succeeded with it, because Im using PPPoE internet and when I set everything, their appears conflict and the internet drops...
I found the app already, but what I'm looking for is how I can setup the use of a remote desktop gatewayserver?
The server I address is an IP-address, but in the Windows 7 setting, I need to specify this gatewayserver.
I'm no admin, so I can't install something @ server side.
Thanks for your help!
Koen
PS I was even trying to run only Remote App, instead of Remote Desktop...

First off - well done on getting it working
Secondly, install BsB Tweaks (if you haven't already) as that will let you fix both zooming and auto-rotating in it.
In BsB you can say you want to add an app for either zooming or rotating (you do them seperately, but it's the same process). You'll have to shake the device to let BsB know which app to make changes for. Just make sure you do it on a connected session (in remote desktop), NOT the login screen. They're 2 different things.

RealVNC or UVNC on TP2?

Yes or No? I have remote controller and while it works good, it doesnt recognize the slide keyboard, idk if realvnc or uvnc will, but they're more universal and all my machines already have uvnc on them
Are you talking about a viewer/client or a server on your phone?
RealVNC's website says they have a WM viewer, but there don't seem to be any links to it and it appears to be a commercial product. I don't see any evidence that UltraVNC make a WM viewer.
There are a couple of fully workable free viewers around. Search for vnc-E4_2_7b4-arm_pocketpc_viewer or check out http://dotnetvnc.sourceforge.net/.

There was also a beta 5: vnc-E4_2_7b5-arm_pocketpc_viewer
Here you go...
This version works fine. I've been using it for quite some while now.
awesome, and this supports the proprietary keyboard on the tp2? Its a serious pain in the ace having to pull up the char. map that this remote im using now needs
Got it running perfect, exactly what I was lookin for, thanks for the help guys
Police Scanner for Win Mo?
Ive seen it for both the droid and the (stupid POS) iphone, theres gotta be a scanner for windows mobile, anyone seen anything?
I've been making a couple posts about UltraVNC mobile over at their website, but I doubt any of the developers really have a Windows Mobile phone to mess around with it. I have the RealVNC one, pre-paid-app version. It seems to be the best. I wish UltraVNC did develop a mobile version because I can't view my secondary monitor on the VNC viewer I'm using now.
Also, just as a note, there are VNC servers out there for your phone so you can use a VNC viewer on your PC to control your phone, but I haven't found one that was always stable. This one seems to be the best bet, but now it's a paid-app.

i tried but i kept getting this error: unable to connect to host: connection timed out (10060)
i was able to connect from pc to pc but not wm to pc. host runs on Win 7 with Outpost firewall. I already allow it on my firewall and forwarded those ports on my router. if you or anyone knows the solution, please tell me. thx.
on your windows 7 pc run uvnc server, Not realvnc. It doesnt work idk why. set it up to recieve the user, pass, and to recieve remote input and then connect using wm realvnc. works on all my machines
I found this a while back it seems to work fine just unzip and copy over to your SD card then run the exe. I personally copied it to my programs folder then created a shortcut to in my start menu.
First Post by the way

using the hd2 as secondary monitor?

hey i found this video and it looks like fun.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8G82A7KKtY&feature=related
but i have windows 7 and i couldnt get it to work does anyone know how? and does it work for XP users?
worked here on XP
I have contacted and it seems to be impossible to make it work on Vista nor 7.
Still, it looks more like a proof of concept than a really useful app
???
It is a video playing inside the Windows media player.
And it's even poorly synchronized with the monitor next to it...

I don't think so. It looks legit to me. Have you ever used dual monitors before?

It's not mate - it works a treat.
it works. it just takes a copy of your screen from the server (your pc) to the client (your phone), over TCP.
Worked quite slowly for me though.
It also adds your phone as a monitor, so you can extend your desktop onto it like a second monitor. It's a shame it's purely a visual thing, as it would be perfect if you could perform mouse clicks with it. Imagine having a media player on there, as in the video, but being able to control it from your screen!
If it was slow, I'd recommend chaning the frame rate. I had it on 20fps and it worked really smoothly.
I personally see a more relevant use by switching to the phone as server, and then having your phone screen open as a window on your desktop...

I've got this installed on my Win XP notebook and my HD2 and I'm trying to get this setup. Can you provide a walk through? I've tried the steps listed in the video, but the trouble I'm having with is when I have to select "Display 2". I only have the option to select "Display 1". I've tried to enable my secondary display, but because there's no monitor connected to my VGA connector, The second monitor setting won't stick.
Can you post up the conditions/settings that got it working for you?
this video wasnt made with my mobiler....
this video was made with this:

works pretty good.... hf....
I guess this is ¨just for kicks¨kind of app

can Galaxy with 3.1 run excel spreadsheets or .exe programs

Im confident i can get an app to show or edit spreadsheets. But what about macros in spreadsheets?
And can i execute a .exe program in android 3.1?

as far as i know quick office is able to display excel-sheets. but i don't know about macros, but i guess it won't run them.
but you will DEFINETLY not be able to run an arbitrary windows programm (.exe).
Generally if you can do it in Google Docs, it can be done on the Tab. A great aspect to working in the cloud. Quick office works well if you can't be connected to the web while working.
But I have never tried macros in either case
EXE files from a Windows PC are compiled to run on Windows. They absolutely will not run on Android, iOS, Linux, QNX, etc. without some emulator. So Apple has parallels for OS X that essentially runs a copy of Windows on a mac and then allows you to run Windows apps but not on Android or iOS (among other reasons - not enough room)
I'd recommend remote desktop app like Splashtop Remote Desktop. You could always just remote into a PC and run whatever exe you wanted as long as you have an internet connection.

Cunning idea!
I have a programme that gets updated monthly and I use daily. but it is installed as an .exe file and when I run it it loads an excel spreadsheet with macros to un internal calculators....
So your idea might work!
Well good luck! I think it would work well for you. It just takes awhile to get use to the gestures to navigate windows with a touchscreen. If your connection is fast enough i've even been able to play HD videos surprisingly smooth.
I guess I should note that the HD (Tablet) version of Splashtop doesn't work with the Galaxy Tab right now but I read somewhere they are planning on having their app fixed within the next couple of weeks.
I have the standard phone version and it works fine. Of course there are tons of alternative remote access apps but Ive had a lot of good luck with them.
yeah, splashtop is the best that I've tried. works really well. once the hd version is working, you'll be able to use it on any network(connect to your gmail account) but right now you can only use it on the same network as your computer
I've also had good luck using PocketCloud, Remote RDP, and Xtralogic Remote Desktop for controlling my windows PC. If you have or can set up a VPN then you can access it from anywhere with a wifi connection.

I tried using an xlsx file of mine on the tab and it displayed fine. The problem came when i tried editing it. The formulas and conditional formatting crash the application everytime. It not a super complicated sheet just an iMobster ROI sheet :-/

look for "phone screen sharing" in samsung apps. there you'll find the mobile client!
there are also versions for all kind of PC's "floating" around, as normally the PC client is only for certain samsung models.
otherwise this tool works great!

Is your phone rooted? If so, I use VMLite VNC Server.
Just wanted to add, VMLite VNC Server works without rooting. Regular Note 3 works just fine, you will need a free desktop program to start the server, though. Once vnc server is running, you can use a vnc viewer on pc to view and control the android phone, and record a movie. etc.
