i cant use the external earpiece .....
i mean i cant pick the call when jasjar is closed .... they build an external earpiece to accept and listen call without opening the flip .... it wz wrking prfctly.. but not working nw.. i tried many ov roms but nothing happns. can some body tells me wht to do. or tell me nysoftware .... coz m sure its a software problem coz the earpiece (external) is working prfectly.. helppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the same problem.. I bough my xda 2 fiew days ago and when I unlocked it I recognized that I cant make any call becose I cant hear enything and noone hears me ;/

Hi there i have problem with earphone, i have sound everywhere, but when i have to call to someone i cant hear nothing, when the other contact discard my call i hear beep signals in my earphone and thats all... i've been read all of the threads here about this and i cant find solution ... i read about the radio and change it from 1.13 to 1.14 and nothing happens ... i'm using Energy.BLACKSTONE.29022.Sense2.5.Cookie.2.0.Jul.04, i've been tried with official rom, other energy roms .. and nothing ... :S i was in service, they fix it, it works fine but when i change my rom, all stops .. soo its software problem... please help me ! in my mobile there is no any sound during call but i can listen music and other sounds only during call its mute but if i put on speaker i can hear , if some1 calls me no sound of ringtone plz give me some suggestions thanx

there are 2 things u can do, flash stock firmware, coz maybe your software is corrupt,
second is if 1st option doesnt work, so if there is no problem with software it maybe a hardware problem(let a technician look at it)
anyway info on current KERNEL? ROM?

i have note 3 N9005 , Android 4.4.2 .. I got it since last Feb. It was perfect till about 2 weeks ago , everytime i call someone on phone they ask me to rasie my voice ... We can barely hear you.
At first i though it was the network because i have bad coverage in my house , So i tried to use viber and facebook Calls , But the same problem ,, So its definitely not the network .. Almost something in my Mic.? I really dont know
I didnt do anything new or abnormal in my mobile to say it maybe a reason , so i restored factory defaults and guess what ? Nothing happened
Iam really upset and i have to shout like an idiot so they can hear me .. I saw an article that you can edit mic volume values but that need rooting and other things .. I really dont know what to do so iam asking for help please.
PS : When i talk from my earphones they can hear me very well
Go for a Warranty Claim. The microphones would have got damaged..

what do u mean by damaged? I googled for it but it seems its uncommon , And if its damaged how they can hear me but at low vol. ?
Update : I tried to call a friend and open phone speaker on call and guess what? They hear me perfectly. This is getting complicated.
Its now not a mic problem
Just to let you know guys , i solved the problem. I visited a center for samsung care and told him the issue.
He used a tiny thing like a thin pin and put it inside the mic then draw it back , Then asked me to test it .. So i called some friends and it worked perfectly fine
He told me that the mic hole was just little plugged and needed just a little clean , I told him that when i use speaker they can hear me fine , How could it be the mic then!? .. We had no idea but it worked as before and he didn't even get any money.
So for future if anyone ever had the same problem , just check your mic hole .. Some dust and issues maybe closing it.
