Hey guys please help.
I recently just upgraded to Nand Android from Winmo 6.5 running SD Android.
Everything works great, testing was awesome till I tried started recording video with it. For some odd reason my sound is ahead of my audio when I record. Can anyone give me a fix for this or point me in the direction to where I can resolve this. I have tried different kernels and different builds and still have the same results. Currently running RAFDROID HD 3.0, Kernel Rafroid 1.7, Radio 2.08 TMOU Version.
Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks

Hmm... I don't seem to have this issue. I have used RAFDROID ROM's before... only thing I am doing different than you is the radio I am using which is the 2.15.x.x but I don't think that really affects the camera.
K thanks, its just driving me crazy don't know what is causing it, I'm going to try by stripping all my apps and then re-installing each app one by one and see if this helps, do a process of elimination. Don't know if this will fix it, but its worth a try. I'll let you know what I find out.

any results? I got the same problem
This is a problem on all Desire HD builds. Isn't fixed at this point. If video recording is critical to you, try one of the Desire builds--there are several very solid builds. Better yet, the newer Gingerbread based builds (HyperDroid, Cyanogenmod 7 ports) should be just fine.
Just kind of depends on your individual needs.

i was using tmo stock rom with the radio that came with it on matt+leo 1.2 and got no sleep of death. i now use chukydroidrom with radio 2.10 on matt+leo 1.4 and i get sleep of death all the time. Anyone with a good rom/radio combination or solution?
If u weren't using the chuckydroid rom i would advise u to use it but i cant help u now since u already use it
Maybe change the radio ..
The regular chuckyrom works well on my HD2 with 2.12.50 radio. Only issue I have is when on the phone there is an echo but I hardly use the phone portion of the phone anyways :/
This is with Darkstones HD2 Froyo V1
FIRST WORKING CONFIG FOR ME!
- good sound in calls
- no lag, if many many apps in background, there could be a little lag, just press windows button in that case and it works again
- very responsive
- no sense (sorry )

yes keep us updated, I've been using this config for about 4 to 5 days, the only thing that doesn't work is my navigation.. I don't know why.. Maybe it's the android build. Gonna take a look at it. damn, I have great sound now, never thought it could be this awsome. very clear, no robot/echo, on both sides of the line. And I shut my phone down every night, never had any problems after rebooting, since I had this with ALL OTHER CONFIGS, I guess this is worth a try. I don't miss sense a lot, this is much faster.

Hi,
As per my post at link below, I've been running Android on my UK O2 HTC HD2, the Mod CyanogenMod-6.0.0-N1(shubCRAFT 1.5_by shu8i), Android 2.2 (booting from SD card).
My question is... Is there a better, more stable version out there and if so which? I must admit, if the Desire HD Rom is available and works, I'd like to try it if someone can point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance.
MM

shubcraft is such an old build. probably almost all builds available now are better. you should try darkstone superram.
I tried the most of roms. Darkstone superram with sense or without sense ist the best, very fast and stable.
Sense HD is still on tests because of some Bugs, but you can try Desire Z from
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=881937
This rom has almost the same functions like Sense HD and it's fast. Try it without the included Androidapps and do your own apps on it ! That makes a big difference of quickness
2 reasons, why I would use Sense HD or Sense Z instead of Darkstone superram with sense:
1 - Because of the Internet conection through the PC (without W-Lan)
2 - The Location-App : It's cool to have the Maps already on your phone
So if someone know how to do these both functions on the Darkstone superram sense possible, please let me know!
I hope, I helped and want to be helped

Upgrade to a NAND version... Nexus One Build by Tytung is my choice... MDJ also makes a nice build.
Hi,
Thanks, I've been running the Darkstone rom this afternoon and have got it all set-up and it seems to be charging ok too without having switched off once which is great.
One further question though, concerning the 'genie' is it, news and weather widget which doesn't seem to be included on this build, can i get it for the 2.2.1 build as I found it very useful?
Thanks again

I am using the Cotulla Desire ROM and everything, and I mean everything works 100%. WinMo 6.5 is now a part of my past! Just do it!

i also agree
poor old winmo...
The best build for me is MCCM HD v4.0. Run's fast, no lag, no black screen after a call. I tryed
Desire_Z all ver and all similar Rafpigna 4.1, CoreDroid 0.4 etc. All of them are laggy and full of bugs, and shouldn't be released as that.
wanna know too
Hi everyone, I am currently using CMYLXGO's Stock desire with my t-mobile service. I would like to no if there is a better Rom available for the tmobile HD2. The rom so far has been ok I had a few freezes or lag now and then not many but a few. So I was wondering if they have any out with no freeze nor lag and that is decent on the battery as well. Thank in Advance!!!
Hi,
Please check my sig...Guide 1.
I have CMYLXGO's Lite and its been great. I tried CM7 roms and Miui....and older Sense roms, CMYLXGO's Lite works best for me now in terms of speed and battery. Might switch to something else if i see a major update in some ROM.....but sticking with Sense for sure.

I am still rocking the old mdj GB 2.6
So I bought an HD2 with a NAND Gingerbread build off of another forum member and when I got it, I immediately noticed that auto-rotation wasn't working, so I downloaded Sensor Debug and AcMeter and saw that there is no data coming in from the G-Sensor. Since then, I've tried several different ROMs, both tytung and RAF kernel varieties, both MAGLDR and cLK and still the problem persists. The only time it seemed to work was when I flashed WinMo 6.5 back on it.
I know there are others that have had the same problem but I've looked around and haven't been able to find a solution. AngelDeath has done a lot of work on the Froyo builds, but the same fixes don't apply to Gingerbread, and there was a thread where he was doing some poking around on this problem, but it hasn't turned fruitful yet.
Has anyone ever had any luck fixing this? Maybe some insight to get a solution started? Anything?

Change your rom. That will fix your problem. Some android roms for the HD2 have problems with the g-sensor/accelerometer but the later roms have that problem fixed.

Any particular ROM you have in mind? I only ask because I've tried several ROMs and I assure you that I'm not using anything over a month or so old. Right now, I've got cLK NexusHD Gingerbread 2.6 tytung9 on it and still with the same result.

I suggest this one here: http://www.multiupload.com/BCDMB8XORB. Hope your installation is successful.
Well, I tried the ROM you linked as well as GPC's 2.4 and a few others, and so far nothing has fixed the problem. Anyone have any other ideas?
try hyperdroid i think that its with your rom

i am also having the same problem. i dont think its a ROM problem, coz i used g sensor in android nand builds before, after doing a screen replacement those same roms now dont work. g sensor still works with winmo 6.5. anyone care to help us????
This definitely seems to be an issue that occurs after a screen replacement. The G-Sensor stops working in ALL android Roms.
Can someone please tell us what info we can supply to the ROM chefs and kernel gods so that they can get to the bottom of this and get it sorted out please.
Same problem with me
I got the same problem with my HTC HD2 Leo. I tried many newest ROM from XDA but accelerometer not work. Someone can tell me what should I do ? Which ROM and kernel version can help me to fix it ?
Many thanks
yup, same problem here... After a lot of reading, my conclusions is that the issue is definitely related to some new hardware.
QUESTION : does anybody with replaced screen, have a proximity sensor problem too in WINDOWS MOBILE when placing a call (screen going off until pressing the end button)?

Hi,
Please refer to my sig...guide number 1.
If you like pure gingerbread with the latest update 2.3.4, I highly advice tytung's ROM. Follow my sig.
imilka's Vivo GB Sense v0.2 looks to have more glitches with it including camcorder. I will wait for a few later versions to come out.
