Hi guys i have been trying to see movies in netflix and i can't. Is there anything out there that can make it possible for me to watch the movies on my evo.
Not yet. Netflix is worKing on an app. There was a dev forum about it but that was pretty much abandoned I think. Right now we just have to wait for a ruu to leak or until the official app its released.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Download swarm, get movies in avi format...works for me.
thank you. do you know any good app to watch full movies.
to open the avi format do i need another program or it will open once i download something.
I just use the stock playernow but I don't watch too many movies anymore on my phone. I did use the v player when it was free, the dev is charging now.
sorry to ask too much, but can you tell me how it works, because i just download it and it just say click on the add tab and i dont know what to do. thank you
Not sure what your talking about, what app are you using? What are you doing? Oh go to a torrent site, find what you want to download then click "download torrent" then you'll download a small file, drop down the notification click the link and swarm should pop up, hit that and the app will work its magic.
the one that you told me swarm but when i opened it says "no active torrents, click the add buttom above to add a torrent".
bro i went to 4share.com i put .avi just to download anything, and i download a video i did what you told me, i drop the notification click on the video and nothing happens it says cannot open the file. **** i guess movies it impossible for me on the cell. thank you.

What Happend To All The Porn Sites On The Flash Video Bundle?
None Of Them Work Anymore ;/
They still work - it's just that you've gone blind
I would guess they were affected by stage6 going down like just about every other streaming divx site out there. Don't worry, it's only a matter of time before someone else picks up the slack. Veoh is trying to, but I'm not sure if they host adult content.
Is there a Flash Program that I can down load for my PPC Mogul 6800 that will enable me to watch the vidoes on www.youporn.com ? I had a few flash programs but none of them work for that site...when I go there from my phone and click on a video it says "you need flash to view this video"..is there already a cab for this?
Go to Ampland.com..click movie theater from right... get an account.. stream
thousands of vids..from all kinds of catigories.. the vids stream right into WMplayer..works great!!

I jus viewed that site..and even set up an account but you have to "buy time" to look at something...That sucks..Thanx but no thank you..I dont want to pay for porn when there are many sites out there where you can view them for free like www.youporn.com ...that site is 100% free only things is that I cant view it from my phone because it tells me that I need "Flash Player" to view the videos. I just dont know which flash player I need for it to work. does anyone else have any ideas?
Sorry, duplicate.
I have the same problem with youporn. I have set TCPMP as my default player and set it as the player of FLV files, but it won't play them on that site.
I can download the videos to my storage card and they play fine from there with TCPMP. I think it would work if there is a way to tell PIE to use TCPMP for FLV files online, but I don't know how to do that, or if it's possible.
I can browse to youtube.com in my browser...I can click on "watch video"...then when the rtsp:// stream comes up, it opens windows media player, then I get "An unknown error 0X8007274D has occured." and it doesn't play the video.
I am not married to WMP, so if there is anothe rplayer that is faster, less bulky, like VLC but for mobile and can handle youtube streams, then I will be happy to use it, or can I get a flash plugin to make youtube work on my Titan lik eit does on a normal pc? with streaming flash?
Or if you have a way to make WMP work and not erro-out, then that's fine to, thanks.

USE TCPMP WITH FLASHVIDEOBUNDLE....POSTED ALL OVER THIS SITE SO TAKE A SEARCH...I heard to not feed the noobs when they post like this...Next time search and read...read...and read....then ask for help. Im a noob myself and have learned that by not asking questions that are answered a million times before...you tend to get help easier when needed.
I am not a noob. I already tried TCPMP or I wouldn't have posted this, duh!
I installed it, then put the designated files in the root dir. tried it before a soft reset and again after, and when i click on a video to watch in youtube it says "TCPMP does not support rtsp protocol"
So try not being so harsh sometimes, you kinda came off as a jerk.

you'll need to download the htc streaming media player, becuz the wmp doesnt support it
If you only want youtube then download youtubeplay by milesmowbray its the pastest way to watch

Noob or not you should STILL read these threads and learn how to do things properly (Especially the instructions )
First download the latest Flashvideo Bundle CAB if you don't have it already.
Install TCPMP to your SD Card
Once TCPMP has installed copy the Flashvideo Bundle CAB to the TCPMP Folder that was created in Progam Files directory in your SD Card
From within the TCPMP program files directory initiate the installation of Flashvideo Bundle and save it to your SD Card
Then soft reset.
Once restarted launch TCPMP and check all the necessary file association options that you would need.
Now you can launch internet explorer --- visit youtube.com (full version) and you should be able to view Youtube videos automatically from TCPMP
though i am not sure what everybody uses youtube for so much. what does everybody watch all the time?? anyway....try veveo (veveo.com). love it b/c it searches more sites and plays great...good luck
Thanks for clearing this up CARLOS...Do I really come off as a JERK? I thought since I supplied the solution that I was being nice. And that I related to Him that I was also a NOOB(which he/she wants to deny) that I wasnt hurting his feelings. I merely pointed out what every sticky in every forum states...READ before posting.
If you just want youtube you can use youtubeplay...Think I found it somewhere on this site. Nice if your just using for youtube...built in player and downloader/streamer...metioned a few post above...figured I would post.

TCPMP doesnt work on my phone. There are two versions of the xv6800, some that work right, and some that are a pain in the butt...I guess for $80 I got one of the pain in the but phones. I cannot use any roms or anything other than stock rom/radio, so oh well. i can live with it for $80, lol.
besides, my friend has 3.1.2 on his xv6800, and mine actually runs fast on stock rom. so make me happy.
-thanks anyway

After following Carlos' directions...what happens when you go to play video...When you click on the vid from youtube...you should get a few options....play...stream...and I believe Link.... Is it doing this? IF TCPMP is erroring out check the tcpmp folder and make sure you have the flvsplitter and flvffmeg files.
that veveo works really good,i dont know why i dont hear more about it. just go to www.vtap.com from your phone and it goes right to the right install page, pretty easy
i followed the instructions to the letter...when i click "watch video" is still openes TCPMP then says "RTSP protocol not supported", and I have both the files for flash support in the TCPMP folder.
No worries, I uninstalled TCPMP and just used the youtube CAB file provided earlier in this thread and it works great Thanks!!

Are you going to youtube.com and not the Mobile site? You have to be at the youtube.com and choose the desktop version. From what I read the mobile site is in .3GPP which is not supported... I believe you can still download the videos and watch them in tcpmp.I never stream cause its always is choppy...NO 3G

I just tested TCPMP again to make sure that the flashvideo bundle still works.
It still works and doesn't need any updated version.
Who knows he might be using an old version of the Flashvideo bundle, he might not have the file association for flashvideo checked, or he isn't viewing youtube.com with pocket internet explorer.
I use TCPMP alot. I watch several movies on my xv6800. The quality isn't that bad either even when I stream youtube using WiFi.
Yeah wouldnt go without tcpmp...Streaming with wifi is great but when I stream on 1X service it blows...buddy has TILT with 3g and pisses me off....Could just be Stock rom....that was just a joke....I attached the same cabs I was using so it should have worked if installed correctly.
you tcpmp users are really missing out...i dont know if it is the decreased ram usage or what, but the cab file actually modifies the shell rather than installing additional memory hogging software...besides I can stream over both 3g and 1X with the youtubecab just fine.
its hard to find a 1X area where i live, but i tested youtube streaming on 1X, a 4minute video, played the whole way through without buffering. i guess im just lucky.
thanks for the cab file again guys.

Pretty sure Titans dont have 3g...or at least I havent heard of it or seen it....If your just using titan to watch youtube than youtubeplay is the way to go...But your very limited to playback on your titan...wmp doesnt support neary as many formats as tcpmp... Have you tried Downloading off of youtubeplay...It downloads in FLV and evertime I have used that and downloaded it has to play in tcpmp since I believe the youtubeplay player is only for playing streamed vids.
Ive used search and aint find anything that had to do with this topic. If this topic has been created already please guide me to the right place. Im fully aware that flash player beta is coming out next month. And im also aware that there's an app called LukLuk in the market that does this. Now here is my question. LukLuk dont seem to work for me it keeps force closing everytime i try and load up the movie list. Im wondering if there are any sites out there to where you can stream movies from? Converting movies into mp4 format and then loading it up to our SD card takes to long. And even when we do get flash player, what sites will we be using to stream movies from? so what sites do you guys use? i have a rooted phone and also aware that the HERO ROM already comes with a flash player, but im not using hero because its very laggy. so brings me back to the same question... what sites can i go to, to stream movies from online? Thank you to anyone who will help me.

I dont know of any movie sites that'll work on the g1...believe me, i've searched...but there is an app called jetflicks that streams tv shows...only it's kinda expensive and it'll be a subscription service by October...there's also a program called doubletwist that'll easily convert any movies you might have on your pc to a format that's viewable on the g1...the good thing about this program other than it's free, is that it automatically detects whatever mobile device you have, no messing around with settings or whatever...hope i helped a little bit...but hey, if you do find a movie website compatible with the g1, hook me up, will you?
I dont think their are any that are worthwhile now.

What's included in this build?
I'm pleased to announce that this newer build is much, much better than the old beta I had made before (and that had been understandably ignored by pretty much everyone) here's what works:
-Flash Player. Yay!!!!. A build under 87 MB (original build, 89 MB with rev1) with full flash support, both in the browser and as streaming video. It's a resoruce hog, though, so use with care (you can disable plugins in the browser settings to deal with this)

Are you sure. from what im reading i was led to believe browser video works
Good luck finding a site, as soon as one gets popular it's host will shut it down or they'll recieve a C&D. If you do find one don't expect it to stick around for longer than a month. Just use Handbrake or Media Coder to convert your videos.

I tested it out for a full 24hr's and returned it the next day because i realized how much i hated WinMO lol. but im really thinking about going back to it. lol

Just like others said don't get to cocky. Not all videos are in flash 10.
I know back before we even had cupcake I was able to go to nbc.com and watch tv shows.
some people have had success with orb but most can't get it to stream over 3g/edge.
I'm going to try tonight to see what I can get. If I can get it streaming video I'm buying a tv turner for the computer. It would be nice if I could just stream the videos I already have on my pc though.

I've also read that gmote could do it as well, I just wanted to try orb first because I already had it installed on my computer at home. I didn't have a lot of time to play with it so I had the same results as most people. Could stream via wifi with no issues, but wouldn't work over 3G. Hopefully this weekend I can play with forwarding some ports on my router or try gmote and get one of them to work.

I don't know about the OP, but i'm looking for an app that will allow me to stream video from my computer.
That being said I tried LukLuk out and it looks like it could be a great time waster but it keeps force closing on me as soon as I try to login. I can use Trial, but that only gets you trailers.
dont bother with orb you have to be in front of your computer to set up a stream and when it stops you have to start it from your pc again
Tried out gmote last night... and it can stream from your computer, but only jpeg, mp3, mp4, and some others... Can't do divx, or avi.. so not what I am looking for...

This was my experience as well - although Orb worked very well, it would occasionally stop on the PC end. I used LogMeIn to remote desktop into my pc from my HTC Mogul to restart it, but I got sick of doing this and decided not to use Orb when I switched to my HTC Touch Pro.
Went to a website and tried to watch a video of a meeting online. Says you have to have real player to view, nothing works thou I cannot watch it online and there is no download for it. Any ideas?????
Real player for android is not the same as you would watch something with real player for pc.

correct
But my question is how do I watch it then, is there away?
Wow, there's still content out there for realplayer that isn't available in some other format? I would have thought Realplayer would have died off back in 1998... unfortunately the last man standing next to Realplayer when it fell only had a single bullet left... the double-tap rule was not an option.
What's the content... I'm 99.9% sure it's available somewhere else.

Tru dat. Mostly flash now. I can't even remember the last site I saw using realplayer.
http://www.real.com
They're not even doing real video anymore.
Some online videos that can be play only with real player are using extension file .smil that android real player can't play and that is the problem here.
I wish it is possible so I can access my subscription channels that can be only played with real player but for now pc only, hope this helps.
Is there a way I can download YouTube videos on this tab? Whether it be through a site or an app?
The answer is yes! There are many apps on Google store that can do this just put a search in
I've went to the market and typed in YouTube and tried to find something and typed in download YouTube and didn't find anything
yesssssss! snappzmarket
yes there are many but i believe they were taken off go to http://m.snappzmarket.com/ and download its an alternative app store where you can get paid apps for free...
then search tubemate on snappzmarket might have to update it though should be good

+1 for TubeMate
Not the most appealing UI , but works good. Fair trade off. Lets you pick from different qualities. Lets you log into your YouTube account and access your Favorites and other account stuff.
The UI looks better on the a500 tablet it does on my G-Nexus phone though.
I use it all the time to quickly load my tablet or phone with music videos, then use iMediaShare to beam across to my PS3 and 360 for viewing or copying to console HDD (PS3 only).
If I only want to view/copy YouTube vids on the PS3, then I just use iMediaShare and skip the TubeMate - to - droid device step.
