[Q] No Carrier! - Legend General

Hello!
I successfully rooted my phone. But I got one BIG PROBLEM i can not conncet to my carrier even though my sim-card was recognized by the phone. So what went wrong ???
I installed a couple of custom roms:
B 0.7
cyanogenmod (stable; legend)
and I tried to unroot it with
RUU_Legend_Voda_AT_GER_Mobilkom_1.31.177.2_Radio_47.26.35.04_7.05.35.26L
RUU_Legend_Vodafone_AT_GER_Mobilkom_1.31.177.3_Radio_47.26.35.04_7.05.35.26L_release_126862_signed
RUU_Legend_Froyo_S_HTC_WWE_3.15.405.3_Radio_47.51.35.17_7.13.35.05_release_160328_signed
but there is still no connection to my carrier A1 [Austria]
Switching between GSM & WCDMA brought no success.
The only time I got a conncetion(2 out of 4 bars thats way to low...) was, when I placed a friends sim-card in my phone.

[Q] 3G stopped working

Hello everybody,
I have a carrier unlocked Xperia Arc. I had flashed .58 firmware, which I had rooted with Zegrush method (bootloader is locked). It was working fine for a few days, then suddenly the 3G stopped working. I am still getting the EDGE (2G) data transfer.
Since my SIM when inserted into my friends Samsung i9003 was giving a good 3G connection and also my friends SIM when inserted into my Xperia Arc was unable to connect through 3G, I thought that the fault was in my Xperia Arc only.
I have
1) Checked APN settings, they are fine. Downloaded and installed them again to be doubly sure.
2) Did a soft reset
3) Did a hard reset
4) Used repair through PC companion
5) flashed .62 firmware with accompanying baseband
6) flashed .42 firmware with accompanying baseband
7) checked network mode. Its WCDMA(preferred)/GSM. On switching to WCDMA, the 3G connection works for a few minutes and then the whole connection drops.
8) I read in some discussion boards that a similar problem arises if the SIM card lock is used but I am not using it.
Is it a hardware defect? Should I unlock the bootloader and flash one of the custom ROMS?
Any other suggestions?
Please help.
Thanking in advance.
Maybe your carrier have a slow-down after using too much data traffic?
And post in the correct section.

[Q] Phone cannot connect to Mobile Network (CM 10.2)

Hello, I had successfully flashed my LG G2 (D802) from stock to CM 10.2. The sim card was recognised and joined immediately to EE (UK - Mobile Network *T-Mobile/Orange*). During Christmas I tried flashing a new nightly from Cyanogen Mod (11), however I had an outdated clockworkmod version (even though I couldn't update it further). I couldn't launch back to CM 10.2, as the data was wiped when trying to flash CM 11 (Nightly).
Due to not having a back up file, I reverted to factory settings first, then wipe 'all' data off my phone using ALL the options avaliable on CWM. I then had to use 'adb' to push CM 10.2 back into to the phone. It successfully flashed and it was running stably. During the set up pages, CM gave me a pop up to look at sim card instructions to 'get it working', i thought this was a minor problem and couldn't to set it up. When this was finished, gave me everything (WI-FI, bluetooth etc.), however I didn't connect to my Mobile Network 'EE'.
I set 'Data Enabled', Network Mode: WCDMA Preferred.
I tried automatically/manually connecting via the CM settings, but response was 'Could not connect to this network. Please try again later.'
So no luck so far in connecting the phone function back up.
I would be truly thankful if everyone could help with a solution. ^_^
Many Thanks!
I've found out that the phone is locked to a HK network, but I am currently studying in the UK. The problem is that I can't unlock the phone in the UK with using the HK network; I have a HK sim card as well as UK, but since the phone is locked I can't use a UK sim card and the HK sim card doesn't seems to register UK Networks.
Anyone got suggestions to bypass this?

[Q] SIM card broke my two phones (can only make calls while just 2g is enabled)

Hi, I recently started having trouble with my gf's phone (Nexus 4 running lollipop 5.0, lte enabled, tmo). It started shortly after I enabled a SIM lock pin on the sim, but not sure if that's the cause or not... The phone started to intermittently drop signal, and would not make calls (it would just appear to be dialing, but you'd hear no ringing and never connect). When I'd restart the phone, I could usually make a call. I tried to fix it by restoring everything the stock image, rechecking the apn, making sure stock radio was installed, etc, but the problem persisted and eventually got to the point that voice calls did not work at all. LTE and data worked to get onto the internet, but once a call was attempted to be made, it'd lose all signal. I discovered eventually that if I switched off lte/4g/3g, and only kept gsm 2g on, I could make a voice call. Next I tried her SIM card in my phone (Note 2 on Android 4.4, t-mobile) and as soon as I put her sim in, my phone started doing the same thing. After switching back to my SIM (that was working just fine, before), now MY phone is stuck with the same problem! (Can only make calls with just 2g enabled). I'm at a total loss. Has anyone experienced anything similar, or do you have possible solutions/ideas on how to fix this?
Flash stock and unroot you'll be fine

I flashed back to stock image a couple of times via wugfresh toolkit, but got the same results each time. I did, however, just fix my note 2 by removing my sim (the one that was previously working), flashing stock via odin (didn't help in recovery), and then replacing the original sim. This leads me to believe that the sim in the n4 is somehow corrupted and once loaded, permanently changes some settings somewhere. (I hope that's the problem, and not the phone). I'll pick up another sim card from tmo tomorrow and try flashing stock again before loading it. Any idea what would cause this? The only thing I did different was set up sim lock on the card, and it seemed to work just fine for a while, till it didn't... Thanks for the help, I'll let you know if the new sim works.
Solved
For anyone who may be having the same problem, here is how I solved it. I picked up a new sim card from t-mobile, flashed a stock rom via toolkit (with the sim card not installed), loaded rom, installed sim, loaded correct apn. Everything works as it should now.

sprint S4 network not working

Hello everyone!
I've got my Sprint s4, unlocked it to use in Canada and flahed JFLTE-GPE. Since then i had no problems for half a year, but this autumnthe ROM got an update. It has lost all the personalisation and other stuff and moreover started rebooting randomly. I decided to switch to OCT-L, and the phone couldn't connect to the network. I tryed different settings and it either was written "Sprint" or "International" (at the network status). But also there was a setting at which it was rapidly changing from "Sprint" to my SIM card network. I flashed JFLTE-GPE back, but nothing changed except it didn't connect to my SIM card at all. I flashed OH1 modem (saw it somewhere on the forum) but it didnt give anything.
Help me anyone please!:crying:

No signal after reboot

Hi, I hope there s a hope..)
I got a s4 and the moment I put in the sim card I noticed that it took max 5 min to get the network working. I thought it s not a big deal. Then the wifi was not working with stock and I rooted the phone and started playing with different ROMs. Every time I did a reboot it would take up to 5 min to get the signal, doesn't matter what ROM. 2 days I did a reboot(not the first one on cm12 with alucard kernel) and the phone couldn't get the signal, not after 5 min, not after 3 h. I put the sim in other phones and it worked, I put other sims in my s4 and it worked. When I put my sim in my phone after it had been in another phone it connects right from the start but after 2 min the signal disappears. I changed ROMs, flashed the same ROM, and cm13 and again and no luck. Now the sim is on Huawei p1 and when I get the notification tray down on the bottom it is written 25905 instead for the name of the mobile operator, which is strange. Is there a way to fix this?
Thank you!
Have you considered getting your SIM card replaced?
The carrier should do it for free.
I replaced it before buying the s4. And it also works on other phones.
OP, did U try to flash another MODEM for Ur device? Not some custom ROM, but MODEM? A have some signal troubles, but reflashing MODEM (lastest version for KK) via ODIN fix the problem.
U can find MODEMs and BLs here.
This thread should be in the Q and A section...
I just did and it doesn't work. I went today to their office and got a new sim and it didn't work either. Tried another sim from the same company and it didn't work either. I have no idea what's wrong...((
