SMS notification problem on my BA

Hey everyone,
I've been using sucesfully Helmi's great ROM kitchen for WM 6 for my BA and, once again I have to congratulate to The Man for building such a good ROM and extending the life of our good old BA's.
I have one problem though, which is something I run in here and there around this forum and that is the SMS notification. For some reason, my BA does not ring and/or vibrate when SMS arrives when the phone is in power-off mode, with option "lock all buttons except power button". Only when I turn it on, I get the notification that the SMS has arrived. It is really annoying, and so far I was unable to do anything related to this. Does anyone have an idea, I would really appreciate it.

Same problem here. I only get an SMS notification when a 2nd message comes in. The 2nd one is usually my girlfriend fuming why I haven't replied to the first message

mh there are so many people running Wm6 on BA...i cant be possible that all have this problem and live with it.... maybe another rom?
im using helmis one!

I got the same problem but with xplode ROM 6.1. I have not tried with Helmi ROM yet.

[Weird] Strange Phenomenon during Unlock ???

Hey guys,
I noticed something rather strange, when I wake the phone up while its locked, the homescreen appears for a split of a second then the lock screen comes on.
Its not annoying but im wondering why that happens ? does it happen to you as well ???

I get it occassionaly, yeah. It's never bothered me though.
This is the kind of thing that HTC will hotfix, while we wait for proper ROM releases and fixes of larger scale issues

yeah i get this too, its actually kinda annoying -_-
But im sure it will be fixed soon in a rom update from HTC.

On a sidenote, how can I check my ROM version ? Is it the 1.488 one ?? Whats the latest available ?

[Q] Signal bar stays at 1 bar

Hi everyone,
I have a problem with the signal bar. Ever since i flashed Kenn's ginerbread beta
4.5, my signal always stays at 1 bar, though i think the actual signal isn't as low
as 1 bar. I just tried flashed alien #3, wiped version, same thing, nothing
changes. I was wondering if anyone has the similar problems? What should i do
to fix it?

I had that issue with Alien as well. I have a Bell Atrix so I just found the latest Bell radio and flashed that through CWM.

Hey I am using International version Atrix. i try Bell radio and its work. Now signal bar can operate normally.

[Q] CM7 battery percentage in status bar?

Hi everyone,
I am using my rooted Droid and am currently running CM7.0.3. Everything has been awesome on it, but I had read that it comes with a tool/app that displays the battery life in 1% increments in the status bar. I cannot seem to locate the option to do so.
Anyone know anything about this? Thanks in advance =)

If the option is available, it should be some where in
Settings->Cyanogenmod Settings->User Interface->Statusbar

Sileshn is right, that's where you would be able to find it. The only thing is (as far as I know) the Droid 1 is not capable of showing increments of 1%. I've been trying to figure this out ever since I rooted my Droid as well. I've been working with a few theories, but so far nothing has come up.
The battery in the status bar will show 10% steps from 100-20 and 5% steps from 20-0.

I was able to find it. Yeah, I have been trying to figure out a way for a long time. From what I gathered as well, just simply not possible on the Droid 1. lame. But, thanks for the help finding the battery increments! This will do for now.

signal droppage in nougat roms while using jio sim

anybody know how to solve this issue my signal always goes down fully in custom roms (NOUGAT) but in miui it always shows full signal.please help me...

I think it's not about the bar you getting .Its about internet speed and miui and custom Roms are giving same speed on jio.
I saw my friends phone with stock getting full bar and I am getting 2 bar .But the funny thing is I am getting same or more speed than them.

Yup me too I am getting more speed than my friends phone

I am facing a problem for like 2 months...due to that problem i cant flash a custom roms...actually my network fully drops when i try to call someone with jio...whenever i call both of my sims goes down and shows no sims no service for 1min or something the again network comes then goes in call....like a loop...dont know what to do....any suggestions?
network goes off in miui roms..but in custom it simply reboots......i cant use a custom rom because of this thing
