We cannot use the HSPL3 tool for that right?

yes an older (correct)stock rom changes everything.
if you want to try the cooked roms based on 3.14 roms, you will need to re apply spl 3.03 and then use sspl to flash the rom, else hspl will make the rom not work.
how can i upgrade to spl 3.03
flash a compatible 3.14 rom or use a goldcard if there isn't a 3.14 release for your phone yet

A little while back I began read some people were getting stuck on a stock ROM and were unable to downgrade to reinstall HSPL3.
Is this true or have they found a way to downgrade them? Also if there are still HD2's with unhackable spl's or ROM versions which can't be downgraded and flashed with HSPL3, can you please list them here?

SPL 3.14 is the one you are looking for. However, the issue is fixed by flashing an older official "stock" ROM and then trying HSPL3. I recommend flashing the 2.10 ROM, which is the one our phones "shipped" with before any upgrades.

So if I flash the official 2.10.0 found on "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=655653", is it the same thing as the 2.10? If I do flash it do I just use the built in RUU update utility?
This will also allow HSPL3 to be installed from I read right?
first go to your bootoader tricolour screen and find your spl version .tmous new 3.14 rom has 2.10 spl, but international 3.14 rom has spl 3.03.............the problems are with 3.03.spl..it is incompatible with hspl...............if you have 2.10 spl, you have no problem putting hspl on your device

You only have to install an "official" stock ROM with a lower SPL of 2.10 or lower. You can then HSPL3 with no issues.

You can go the HTC website or this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=623283
Make sure you download the CORRECT STOCK ROM version otherwise it will brick your device
Download 1.66 or 1.42 rom from htc.com, then install hspl 2.08. make sure you have the right radio.. then install maglard. Now you are ready to flash an android rom :=)

Try Orange first. But you still can flash other stock rom but need gold card

You must copy the nbh file (rom with 1.66 or 1.42 rom) on your sd card and boot on.
After, install SPL 2.08 HSPL.

Hi, I'm trying to get my phone to stock for warranty ant sadly, the sd card method, goes like some 10%, and phone is rebooted giving an error.
So, i can flash stock rom via usb. but how could i flash stock spl via usb ?
Found somebody in the forums was telling that this hspl4 can do, but witch version i need to install to have it stock ?
HSPL4.exe i used this to flash 2.0.8.0000 assuming its orginal spl.
checked at bootloader it says nothing cutula or anything.. .
spl 2.0.8 says so. SD card method totaly dont work. my phone has heating issues... and it will be sent to warranty. hopefully it will pass this orginal rom/spl check
double check SPL is correct for ROM HD2 version before shipping to warranty
2.x spl versions are only correct for tmous phones. There's already been a thread where someone sent back a regular hd2 with spl 2.08.0000 and had warranty refused.
Any other x.xx.0000 will be fine, so long as it doesn't startwith a 2.
(Unless you have a tmous, of course, in which case only 2.xx.0000 will do.

Solved, its guite simple to get it back to stock spl if sd-card method is not working, you need to download hspl2 and having in the phone spl 2.0.8.

and select 1.42.0000 and install i checked bootloader says spl 1.42 and no cotulla anything so its ready to send to warranty

we have no phone provider its just htc... you buy it in a store...
if a provider sells it i was asking, they leave stock factory setings, they have no software for hd2..
this is no sense you are saying, because there is no more official support from htc.

your spl is already 1.42.0000 yes?
flash any correct (wwe htc) stock rom, and it will change teh spl to match. So if you now flash the 3.14 rom it will update the spl to 3.03.0000, , however in your case, since you already have the 1.4 rom handy, just flash that over usb and you're done, since it doesnt matter which version you put on it, just so long as the rom and (most importantly) the spl are stock.

ok, then if the filename has wwe htc then it means its stock, if i understand correctly?
Phone is in the warranty now, i have to wait up to 3weeks..
because in Lithuania there is no htc service, it its only in Latvia.
Then we will see if its gonna work properly in WM6.5 and then, i'm sure i will set it on android, I was so impressed with the speed of android os, and browsing speed, it was like 3xtimes faster everything was much faster.
So i will post back when i get the phone.
P.s thanx for explanation, this will help alot of ppl i think.

ok, my phone is back from warranty now it worked fine, got mainboard replaced, and this was very fast, took only 1week including halloween!! got free napkin for screen, it came in a nice htc paperbox
noticed, that now is 3.14 rom with 3.03 spl, i'm charging to full now and gonna try the android i think i will go with typhoons latest

dont forget you cant use android on 3.03 hspl, you gotta use hspl4 and choose 2.08.hspl

Look, I'm to lazy to search theese forums for you, but what you need to do is..
to have hspl as if you have android you should have it already.
Then.
search and use utility task29 to clear existing rom, or we can call format it or delete it.
Then you can find on google or here or somewhere RUU_Leo_S_HTC_WWE_3.14.405.2_Radio_15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14_LEO_S_Ship.exe this is non branded stock latest hd2 rom for htc leo with windows mobile 6.5
install it, if you dont know how to - look for thread how to flash everything in xda forums.
then last step to get back to stock is changing hspl to stock spl 3.0.3 you can do that using utility hspl4 - look for it in the xda forums. it all the same flashing style programs just in HSPL4 you will have a promt to choose spl, and chose the one with 3.03.0000 and wuala you are stock afcourse memorycard you need to delete format or take it out like i did before taking to warranty.

2. rename that

Missing 128MB of RAM in Tmo USA HD2

I have a T-Mobile USA HD2 which used to have 576MB RAM size but now it is down to 448 MB. The changes I made to my phone recently include downloading BsB Tweaks to hopefully unlock some hidden features. Also in an attempt to install either Windows 7 Mango or Android 2.3.4, I installed the SPL below:
PB81120 HX-B3
SPL-3.03. HSPL XE
0X05
Cotulla HSPL 0X50
Could this have anything to do with my missing 128MB RAM? I have re-flashed the stock ROM twice now to:
Current ROM Version is 3.14.531.1 (04666) WWE
Radio version is 2.15.50.14
Manilla Version is 2.5.20181424.0
Issue still persist. Any help will be appreciated. Also does anyone know what SPL Tmobile USA HD2 uses. I think mine used to be 2.10.000 prior to installing Cotulla's.
