I have rooted the wildfire and changed the radio to 3.35.20.10.
Do i have to flash the original radio back, or does the RUU also revert radio?
Thanks in advanced

I need to send my HD to replace the screen under warranty. I flashed it to HSPL 1.56 with a cooked ROM. Since HTC makes a big deal about this, how do I get my HD back to stock HSPL and ROM?

dude... open your eyes!!! there's search and there's ALSO a link in my signature...
I kinda have thesame problem. I followed the steps in your guide, flashed a stock rom + radio, then flashed stock SPL 1.14 from that post and then flashed stock rom again. Is this enough to be able to claim warranty or will HTC still be able to find out about HSPL?
I flashed a cooked ROM using the SPL method and now my phone is stuck at the white screen with HTC in the middle. I cannot perform a hard reset and Im unable to reinstall original ROM thru the SD card method. Please help me
Which rom did you use. Most of the new 2.10 based cooked roms require radio 2.08 to boot up. Put the phone into bootloader and flash the new radio.
If you pull the radio out you should be able to then do a hard reset as well as flash via sd card.

If you're using hspl, (the only way you can flash a new radio) then with phone in bootloader, insert usb and when usb appears on screen flash the same way as for a rom.
When I flashed the ROM earlier, I used this method
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=606713
So now i have to install hspl?

Yes, sspl doesn't allow you to change the radio and you need the newer radio for these latest roms.

Or you can just reinstall your original ROM from the card and you will have everything back as it has been

Thx guys..my new ROM is up and running. Phew
Closing this as you have a number of threads on the same subject. Please keep it all in one thread; easier to help you that way.
Glad you got it up and running.

So you have rooted your phone, and flashed to the official ROM....why would you do that
They may have had a branded rom and have now flashed stock, ie no branding, my guess anyways, if not then leedroid FTW
For those wanting to revert from the leaked RUU, you can use this.
http://www.multiupload.com/Y9LP6S6WSP
Firmware: 1.12.605.6
Radio: 1.16.00.0223
31478f109a56be3eb7068d97a7e9b11b PG05IMG_stock.zip
Check md5sum, rename as PG05IMG.zip and flash through the bootloader.
You will keep s-off, root, update to newest (as of today) clockwork recovery and restore the rest to factory settings. Will wipe your phone.
Some people are reporting random reboots on the newest leak RUU, so it may be a trade of. Better battery, or less random reboots.
Thanks Jcase, been looking for this.

I'm not rooted and want to stay that way. If I use this to revert to the original stock thunderbolt Rom will it be a stock unrooted version? And do I flash this like I flashed the unrooted RUU? If that isn't he case could you post a RUU that would be unrooted and signed so I can flash it. I woils appreciate this a lot
Thank you! I had my nandroid backup, but this is peace of mind.
Just to be clear, flashing this (from recovery, right?) will downgrade the radio and reinstall stock ROM but keep root?
Curious, if I flash an older back up in CWM with the older radio, does this replace the new radio, or must I still reflash the old radio?

if you are unrooted, then this rom is not for you I believe, you need original signed version of this rom that is somewhere in this forum. You need the 605.6 ruu that is signed and untouched. To flash this you have to have s-off already and be rooted as far as I know.
There is a obligatory radio thread that has just the older radio if you just wanna go back to the radio. But the RUU you flash in bootloader is the total package radio+software.

Download Hash Droid from the Market. It will allow you to check the md5sum on your phone.
Been waiting for this. Good to have on hand. Thanks.

So, I have the original signed ruu... .but can't use it to revert, I get:
"Main version is older!
Update Fail!
Press <POWER> to reboot."
How do I get around this and go back to stock for an unrooted phone?
Will this put hboot back on my phone?

Download the downgrade.zip here:
http://www.multiupload.com/EH2U0B1JYG
Download the original RUU here:
http://www.multiupload.com/JWLPZAS15T
Rename and flash the downgrade (PG05IMG) in hboot wait for homescreen to load skip setup. Delete Downgrade.zip and place stock RUU on SD and rename to PG05IMG.flash in Hboot and back to stock.
I am not responsible for you bricking your phone.
Thanks for your help

I'm running on cybergr's hybrid v8. I flashed kf1 radio a few roms ago, and now I wanna go back to KL1 radio. I can't seem to find a flashable zip for it. Please someone link me to one or tell me how to get it back.
It does not return after flashing a new rom, even after full wipe.
only in mode ADB o fastboot for flash radio...
Have you checked Peter Alfonso's website / section in ROM manager. I believe that all radios are there in flashable .zip form.
