My stock rom had the third dock shortcut 'contacts', but after I flashed IG 1.6.1 it changed to 'browser', is there any way to change it back?

I have the POINT UI installed. Can someone tell me how to get rid of the search bar from the main screen. Also want to know how to replace the bookmarks shortcut on the right bottom with contacts.
Thanks
just remove the search images (search for files with keyword search) in the default theme directory.
to replace the bookmark shortcut, you need to have a pro version.
I updated to R3. I was using R2 and in there i had the contacts options instead of the bookmarks. I dont remember How i had done that.

older version of .UI will have the contact softkey link instead of the bookmark. You must have installed the latest version 0.30
Hi all,
I am wondering how I could change the clock to be something like this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=526466&highlight=forsh77+clock
I am using Athios ROM, Sense 2.5, with Cooke home screen.
Thanks!
Install the cab files in the post for whichever clock you want.
Tried that and it did not work, I think because it is sense 2.5.
Is there a way for me to manually replace the files?
You have to find a clock for sense 2.5.
Maybe this will do the trick, haven't tried it but it says 2.5

I replaced the slider on my tilt 2, and I just need the original TF3D 2.1 slider so I can restore it to original. Can anyone help?
You should be able to restore it by uninstalling the theme. Go to Start>Settings>System>Remove Programs, select the theme and press the Remove button. When you restart TF3D, the original should come back.

What model of Rhodium do you have? Each carrier has a different default slider on TF3D 2.1 ROMs.
Brent372 has a site that has most of the stock ones on it for people to download...I'll have to look up the site when I get home, I don't have it handy at the moment.
The method jcterry mentioned should work in most any case....unless you want to keep the rest of the custom theme and just revert your slider back to stock,...in that case you'll need to grab the stock files again like you were thinking.
recently, i havent been able to install themes downloaded from this forum successfully.
One of the theme i tried is anastasia and dinik theme. My whole clock is missing! icons missing on my home page. My slider( home page) cant moved. The only thing on my home page now is the weather. Now there is 'Title' word on the middle of my home page permanently too. somehow bits of my old theme is on my home page as well. Which weird because i deleted the old theme thru Device>Windows>Appmgr.
This happened before when i used another theme.clock, icon missing.
And now my phone doesnt go to lock screen anymore. I didnt change the settings at all.
My rom version is 1.48.
Pls help i've been having this prob for weeks alrdy. Thanks!
back up and hard reset would be my suggestion.
Oh no! Would u tell what caused this prob ? so that i wont repeat the same mistake again.
And hard reset-> my phone contacts gone too? how do i back up?
sorry for the trouble thanks.
you have probably installed a theme/tweak or mod that is incompatible with the version of either manila or windows that your device is running.
tons of methods to back up.personally all I do is sync my contacts with outlook.thats all I back up.
PHP:
But why doesnt my phone theme not return to the original theme even if i delete the downloaded theme?
Why is that even if i deleted a downloaded icon file or theme, it still remains in the display on my phone page?
sry asking so many qns.
When you install new mods and themes it quite often overwrites the existing files that you would consider the "original theme". So uninstalling does not bring the old files back - it just deletes the new ones.
As samsamuel says, a hard reset is probably your best bet.
Incidentally, whenever your lockscreen doesn't appear when you lock the phone, or when you can't open emails by clicking the preview in the email tab, go to start and then lock (bottom left menu option). That fixes that problem temporarily. The only permanent fix I know for that is a ROM upgrade, as 1.48 is oooooooooold now!
Kill 2 birds with 1 stone and just flash a new ROM.
it could be that the theme is badly written and just overwrites files that then cannot be restored, or the theme wasn't for your system so it's messed the registry, who knows? not me!
Oh. Thanks alot guys!
your help is greatly appreciated!
I've just cooked my second mod on the kitchen but only some of the mods show on the phone after flashing.
My first attempt was a new battery icon for the notification bar and this flashed perfectly. My second attempt included some other mods, including notification icon pack, modding the font, change of highlight colours, bootscreen and a new lockscreen.
The zip flashed ok and everything works except for the bootscreen and lockscreen, all I have are my original ones. Any idea why these two items, specifically, may not work? I'm using LeeDroid 3.0.8.2 ROM and the lockscreen I chose was the Cyanagen style. Would I have to have the CMHBOOT installed to make the lockscreen and bootscreen work?
Try to change bootscreen yourself via Root Exporer.
If your rom is compatible with yours HBOOT - you dont have problems with him...
