Anyone know of any good build.prop mods for DJ_steve 1.7.0 besides the ril. 3g radio settings that don't seem to work?
Any framework mods?
Any build.prop mods?
Any com.providers data base mods?
Any database mods?
I want the WOW factor
Thanks

*Edit is there a System UI I could pull from a rom that has the below mods? If not, I will be offering a bounty of $20 Cdn for anyone who can provide a flashable zip witho those mods, crt off is optional.
This is the SystemUI for the new Canadian MG1 Base, tried my hand at theming but changes arn't siticking, and there doesn't seem to be much regarding the changes made by Samsung.
Needing these specific mods:
No Status Bar Clock
Remove Carrier Label
75% transparency on notifcation toggle and drawer
1% battery
CRT off (If Possible)
SystemUI
Framework-Res
Framework JAR
TouchWiz Framework
Services JAR
Thanks, if you need any framework files feel free to ask.

Yeah, there was a thread in the Dev discussion that resolved compilation issues. Im using the general JB theming stuff I have on hand to play around with things, but I was also worried when someone mentioned that Samsung did some major changes to SystemUI in this update.
Hi everyone,
I have GS4 and using 3minit framework for theming and tweaking my phone, is there any possibility that it could be done or ported for the Note 3, SM-n900 version??
thanks in advance
why don't you ask in original author whether he plans to support note3?
anyway, Xposed framework offers more options overall although is not as simple to use.

I'm already using wanam xposed and it does its job well, but 3minit is more rapid and you don't need to restart your phone with EVERY modification

Surely you can use Xposed framework and a module for that if its not build in the Alliance rom.

Install Xposed.apk from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/xposed-installer-versions-changelog-t2714053 (read the OP well) and all available modules like GravityBox which has many UI tweaking options. Xposed modules are available here http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/index-xposed-modules-collection-post-t2327541, Xposed is not yet compatible with ART afaik.

Yes. It's not clear if you want to change an existing icon or add something outright.
The former is generally called theming. Usually you can just replace the icon in question with a root aware file browser. Most app icons are in the drawable 360 xxhdpi drawable folder of system apps. The latter either needs an associated app, a smali edit or something to reference the icon.
.
I have an S4 gt-I9505 with the 4.4.2 GNG8 firmware. I have been trying to make changes to the DisplayPowerController.smali in my services.jar to enable the crt-off effect with no success. Have done a lot of searches and have found some older 4.4.2 versions but they aren't working for me. I do not wish to use wanam's xposed mod with no disrespect to him for his work. If anyone has the crt-off working for my firmware can share your services.jar or knows of a nice clear tutorial on how to do this I would really appreciate if it could be shared. Thanks in advance. peace
bump with hopes someone has a way to help me.. please

I have searched the latest firmware custom roms and all have wanam's xposed mod installed. the older firmware with only crt-off mod won't work on my firmware. thanks for the suggestion though.

Xposed is used to modify system framework on the go. Benefits are you can modify your whole system, loks, functionality etc. but it works with modules. So basically, you install xposed framework, and then modules, for example, you have a module g2 tweaksbox http://bit.do/twkbx with wich you can modify all sorts of stuff for the g2, but that is just one module out of numerous of them, so, take a hint here http://bit.do/xpsd , download the apk, install the framework, and then look what's under the hood under modules tab, life's better with xposed, cheers!
