Are there any kernels working for froyo I'm missing overclock kernels as well as voodoo
We don't have any of the kernel sources for froyo, but birdman's making a custom kernel source so just a little longer.

what about any in rom manager
Jt has a voodoo5 kernel in his section in Rom Manager. I think its under DJ05 kernels.

Just make sure it's a voodoo5 kernel and you'll be good.
Themes and roms are completely different animals correct? I can flash themes over roms and I'd still be running that rom?
A theme is sprinkles on a rom. Its still the same rom, just with sprinkles. But flash the theme that is compatible with your rom.

So I know Super Clean and Blackhole were just released, but does anyone have a favorite? I am currently using Super Clean and I love it and was just wondering if anyone has tried both and would prefer one over the other?
Their basically the same it's just that blackhole is easier to customize.

I haven't tried blackhole but I've used every version of Dl30 Super clean, and each one has been fantastic. I'll try blackhole if I get bored maybe, but for now Super Clean is king.
Is it just me, or is the difference after removing bloatware exponentially more noticeable on EB01 than the 2.1 stock rom?
? In a bad or good way?

stock? yuck.
im using blackhole 4.01.. its very fast with some very nice themes and extras. no bloat.
Which kernal are you guys using for jvp.
Could you answer the following:
1.quadrant score on third run with and without ext4
2.extra support eg.sharpness fix bln etc?
3.does everything work with it, no bugs?stable?
4.custom rom or stock?
Thanks, need some help making my mind up.
First (everytime such a thread comes up)! Its your decision!!
I recommend Semaphore Kernel which is based on Chainfire's initram.ds and has voodoo sound v9, OC/UV (up to 1.2Ghz) and runs flawlessly on JVH,JVO and JVP (on every ROM/Stock FW)

I also recommed semaphore kernel.
I also recommend semaphore kernel...
my quadrank score on third run with OC to 1.2 Ghz and Ext 4 is 2756
even without any custom kernel, 2.3.4 rocks the quadrant!!
alng with this, u get Voodoo V9

Now I´m going to try semaphore kernel, all the people said this kernel it´s awesome.
I always prefer the stock roms
dark core is pretty nice too, has lagfix, voodoo 9 and everything.
Thanks guys think I will give semaphore a go, so many recommendations. Jvp is a great leap forward in rom development for our galaxy.not sure about overclocking at the moment, feel like I dont need it. btw currently on ramads deodexed jvp with cfroot and juwes ram script.

for now semaphore kernel
Actually stock and supercurio's kernel are the only ones with fixed autobrightness but you have to leave overclock, sharpness fix, voodoo sound etc. With supercurio's you get ext4 lagfix + hacks, this is my choice, waiting for a fixed dark core 2.x.
