i restarted my pc many times but problem still remains
my HD2 sync perfectly with HTC Sync.
two days ago i flash perfectly Android in my HD2. but today i cant do anything:s

Put your phone into bootloader mode and connect to pc. Does serial change to usb once plugged in? If not try moving to another usb port on your pc , preferably one at the rear and allow the drivers to be fully installed. Once you get usb to show on screen you can then try again.

Thanks. how do i put my phone into bootleader mode?

Switch off, hold in vol down button and switch on. Keep vol down pressed in until get to multi-coloured screen. In the bottom section you should see the word "serial" - plug in to pc and this should change to "usb".

Switch phone off, remove battery for min 5 min. Put battery back.
Push down button "volume down" and keep pressed. Dont release it.
Now keeping volume down putton pressed press down power on switch. Keep pressed to this time when you see on your tricolor screen.
Release buttons.
You are on bootloader mode.
Install MAGLDR.
When phone shuts down on reboot keep pressed power button, dont release until you see MAGLDR menu (10 menu points if i right).
Install you preferred nand rom how rom guide tell.
After install phone reboots.
Enjoy your fresh android rom install!

[Q] how to update magldr?

i have search but cant find an answer that works. please help!
You might want to check those glasses: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=893948
ive seen this, but when i go to usb flasher and confirm it shows Wait USB... and wont connect.
you need to "run it as admin"
i tried running as admin, and am no longer getting stuck at wait USB..., but when i try to update magldr, i got an error 264 after it tries to verify the phone information
Your phone is in the bootloader menu ?
the one with the 3 collors ?
if not shut your phone down pres vol down and then power your phone on while pressing the vol down button.
Your computer sould now find a alternative driver for your HD2 if not install the one that is floting around here somewere. And try again.

This was pretty simple way to upload from 1.10 to 1.13
I don't know why others have given confusing solutions..
Thanks
I'd add my 2 cents - run UPDATE UTILITY from drive C: (had that issue myself and spent some time on it)
to summarise 'flash magldr from bootloader, not from usb flasher'.

how to change from one nand rom to another hd2

hello guys.
quick question. htc sync will not connect to my pc using a nand rom. how do i connect to load a different rom please?
many thanks
paul
HTC Sync has nothing to do with flashing a new ROM, so it's not an issue that it doesn't work.
Turn your phone off and then turn it on, but keep holding the power button until you get the magldr menu. Then select to flash from SD (can't remember the exact wording.)
Then plug in your USB cable and see if it says USB...USB
If it does then you're good to go!
Good luck mate.

[Q] HTC HD2 problem

Hello everyone, I tried installing Android nand, the newest but after installing maglrd it gets stuck on the loading screen.
I checked the sticky for solutions.
[qoute]Problem: On some devices MAGLDR won't boot at all (HTC logo stay after turn on).
Solution: Install HSPL208.
[/qoute]
But how can you install HSPL208 if I cannot enter my phone at all?
Enter bootloader mode to flash HSPL. Turn the phone off, hold down volume down button and briefly press the power button. Keep holding the volume down button till you get the 3 colour screen. It should say "serial" at the bottom. Connect it your PC via USB and it should turn to "USB". You can then flash HSPL.

Google failed for me.

No that's fine. That's the HSPL bootloader. When you've got that screen you can flash a ROM via USB. (There's another way to do it, if that doesn't work.)

Sorry - my bad. Once you've got HSPL working you should be able to install Magldr and then flash an Android ROM from there.
Flash Magldr at the bootloader, like you did for HSPL, then when it's done turn the phone off and turn it on again, but hold down the power button till you get the Magldr menu.

[Q] Cannot acces Tricolor screen. Stuck at in MAGLDR

Long story short, I was attempting my second flash. I followed the steps before and everything was going fine. Now right before i open CWM to install android the MAGLDR ( which is version 1.13 ) gets stuck at "123456GOGOGO".
Now i thought maybe i would start my proccess over but I cannot acces the tricolor screen. I wasnt able to do this in the beginning of my proccess either, when i pulled up my HSPL program on my desktop my computer entered the tricolor screen on its own and I proceeded from there.
Basically i have looked around and have found some ways out of the GOGOGO problem, yet I cannot acces the Tricolor screen using hardware buttons so I am stuck. And its not a hardware issue. In MAGLDR the Vrockers work fine and before I did anything the rockers were working fine in Windows 6.5.
Any Ideas? I have a feeling i got a pretty nice paperweight now.
the normal way to enter the tricolor screen is to turn the phone off then hold the volume down button and momentarily hit the power button.
Also, To keep from getting to the 123456 GOGOGO hold the power button while it is booting normally and you will get to the MAGLDR menu and there you can go to the AD Recovery and flash a new rom.

pull your battery,
put it back in,
hold down volume and power button,
and theres your tricolor screen
True i know about to Volume Down and power key to enter Tricolor, but for some reason with my phone that does not access the Tricolor, tried it many times.
Holding the power button while it booted made no difference.
*******I followed these steps for flashing my rom:*****
First, you need your files!
HSPL4
MAGLDR 1.13
Clockworkmod Recovery
Download a ROM of your choice, I prefer Hyperdroid
Unzip only the first 3 files, and place the ROM zip on your SD card.
So, here we go!
Remember to back up all of your contacts and any data stored on the phone that you want to keep, because you will be wiping windows off ENTIRELY.
HSPL4-
Plug in your phone.
Right click the HSPL4 file and select "Run as Administrator"
Go through the screens, then when it's connecting to your phone your phone will go into bootloader (red, blue, and white screen)
Select HSPL 2.08 when it comes up, hit next. Let it work.
It'll popped up saying "We hacked it!", and you'll see it on your phone. Click yes, then ok and you're done with this step! Phone will restart.
MAGLDR 1.13-
After phone's restarted, go to the MAGLDR folder, right click "ROM Update Utility", and Run as Administrator.
Checkmark the necessary boxes to continue through steps. Then click "Update", then click next through screens.
Once it starts updating ROM image, it taks about 2 minutes. Then click finish.
Phone will reboot into MAGLDR.
Navigate MAGLDR using the volume up and down keys. Use the green button to select (you may have to click twice).
(At this part in the video I uploaded the ROM zip, I'm assuming you already loaded it though, so skipping on).
Flash Clockworkmod_150
Scroll down on MAGLDR to option 5 "USB Flasher". Don't select it yet.
On your computer, go to the Clockworkmod folder, right click the DAF file and run as administrator.
Click next until it gets to waiting for USB.
Now press the green button to put it in the mode.
Text will start to appear on the phone screen, and the Clockworkmod flasher will do its work.
Once done, click finish, and MAGLDR will reboot. It may say something like "kernel fail", it's normal, don't worry about it.
Scroll down to number 8 "AD Recovery", select it.
It'll say Go Go Go Go, and then you'll be in Clockworkmod Recovery!.
****************************************************
BUT! at this point i get stuck in GOGOGO and i have to remove battery.
I JUST got this phone and really want to atleast get it back to Windows Mobile so i can restart my flash.
read the link in my signature...i was there and few of the folks succeeded after completing the process
Hoping it wouldnt come to this but looks like i dont have a choice, hopefully I get a try your method out tomorrow since the success rate looks promising, Ill get back with the results!
Try to reset your phone. Push the red little button on the back near the SD card
I have the HD2 open and have removed the flex cable at the bottom of the phone yet when i connect USB it auto boots so i have to power it down and to do that i have to connect flex cable. once i have the cable connected i power down then i hold the volume button and before i can restart the phoen autoboots from the USB being plugged in so im in a loop.
But i cant boot without the USB being in so Im in a pickle. Again

Try this:
- Hold down the vol_down button and don't let go.
- connect the usb, don't let go of the vol_down button
- should go into bootloader
- now let go of the button.
Nope that didnt work either, any OTHER reason my phone wouldnt acces the Tricolor screen? Ive tried everything 100 times.

A1 Suddenly Dead

Hi
i bought before 2 weeks Xiaomi a1
it wored very good.
Today while I wanted to turn on the screen it did not respond.
The phone is not responding to any type of pressing.
I must say that the phone is new, did not get any kind of hit , and 5 min before this problem it used to work really good.
I think that the phone is in brick mode, and i can't enter to fastboot option because the phone is not responding....
Pls help my solve this problem.
Thanks
Try holding the pwoer button for more then 10 seconds, that should reset it... once you start it up aghain turn of ambient screen... Gave me troubles too... Hope that helps.
Has that still not been fixed with November update? I turned my ambient screen back on to see. So far, 2 days since update and no black screen after notification.
I'm guessing it's not dead. I have the same problem before as well. It was the buggy Ambient Display. Force restart your phone by pressing power button and holding it more than 10 second. First thing on boot up complete, go to Settings > Display and turn off Ambient Display.

Well there is something strange.
Leave the phone discharge
Then let it charge
Then power on with vol down + power
Try these 2 things
1) charge your phone for 2-3 hours. if didnt switch on try this 2
2) Connect your data cable with pc. In mobile Press volume up + volume down and plug in the other end of usb cable to your mobile. you need to hold the keys. this will boot your phone into fastboot.
If boot steps didnt work then it might be a hardware problem or hard brick.

you should press the power key while charging cable connected. If it doesn't work , unplug the charging usb and plug again reverse(type c's reversibility). If it can't, try with another AC source, another person, another location.

You switched off the phone in middle of installing ota, best bet is take it to the take it to the service center and tell them phone not switching back on after installing August ota update.
Or if not in warranty then try to install stock rom using qfil.
Unfortunately you have bricked your Mi A1

You have bricked your Mi A1, when you turned it off while installing/flashing the August update. Basically you should never turn a smartphone off, or disconnect the USB cable (if it is connected), while flashing its ROM.
There are various methods to unbrick it, I suggest you try this one since it's apparently not going into fast boot:
