We should be on 2.3 hopefully by the new year. with allthe hacking that has been done to get i9000 ports working on the vibrant, the nexus s rom should be easily ported thanks to this.(hopefully)

I would love to see Sombionix or Eugene373 chime in any plans they may have, maybe what having the source will help them achieve and what this means from their expert experience in times of how fast this will move the process (NOT DEADLINE TIME LINE as that is not fair). I know Sombionix has a Nexus S and has mentioned continued support for the Vibrant.

[Q] What roms add features

guys i like my super clean rom for DL09 but the one thing i miss about my OG droid is that when ever i flashed a rom it would add features that would make it more compelling to stick with. The only thing i see with the fascinate roms are de-binging with no new features added not saying the devs don't work hard its just are there any roms out there that add features not specifing to which but just saying add them

On super clean, you can put DJ05 theme over it. Make sure to install DL09_aosp_lock_theme_hax after flashing the theme; it makes DJ05 themes compatible.

bro i am sorry but that doesn't answer any question i was asking

They are coming, pk and jt are working to bring 2.2 asap. Bird is bringing 2.3. Luckily, there are not too many differences in the RIL between 2.2 and 2.3 for the developers. However, birdman has said that this phone is on 1.5 RIL.

Right now most of the development work is going into digging the community out of the ditch Samsung abandoned our near-dead bodies in. Once out of said ditch, then various nifty features should start appearing (especially with CM on the Fascinate).

I enjoy the fact that you guys go against the grain. Everyone was on the ginger kick and you guys came out with a solid, yet different roms.

And guess what? Even before these suggestions, his EDT release in the works was..
A KA6 Aosp / Vanilla!
From what I understand, we should have it tested and he will be releasing it probably late tonight or tomorrow!

Now that we have given you these toys i think the dev community deserves a little break lol im so tired.

All of you devs are amazing. Wish my parents would let me donate because you all really deserve it.

I wish I had the know-how to create my own roms. Until then, I thank you devs for all the hard work.

Loving the new ports. I've always been a big sense fan but I feel like I've fallen in love all over again!

I had started to get sick of sense and was using CM7 for a while. Definitley going back to sense once its a little more stable and can answer my phone calls. Great work!

Give Gingersense ReMix by wdfowty a shot. I think the only thing broken is MMS and that should be fixed soon if not already. I've been running it for a couple days and it is sick.

Is ICS being developed for mt4g

Just wondering if any of of our developers started cranking away on an ics port for our phone. It seems development has kind of slowed a little on our front and considering the mt4g is still a beast of a phone i would hope so... Thanks!

Development has slowed? Seriously? The dev forum for the Mytouch 4G has exploded recently. ROMs galore.
I have read that devs trying to compile from ICS source are having difficulties. Just give it time.

Actually TDJ and RK have resumed development of that port. Not sure why since Capy is now developing his original ROM for the MT4G.
CM9 will be brought to the MT4G and I highly doubt we'll see any decent ICS ROMs before then.

Yea i saw that. The only thing making that rom perfect is the ffc being upside down, which is an issue in all 3.5 roms ive ran across at least in my experience. But im sure ics will be awesome once it comes, cyan expects it being about 2 months before we see anything cm9 released.

I read that yesterday. Very exciting. I hope he/they beat CM7 to it. That would be amazing. I love a good clean AOSP ROM. Of course, team douche could have it fully functional on many devices before ours. I guess we'll see.

I'm pretty sure they can get it you work before cm. they have to work on it for so many phones, while our devs.just work with our phone.
