Ok my old signature used to be :

now my signature is what shows bellow. I haven't changed anything on the tab so why would my signature change?
Mind you i am running Roto's JME v4.
EDIT: i think i figured out why i have a different signature, i recently installed Media Hub from an AT&T tab thread and i had to change some build.prop files in order for it to work, so it changed I987 hence my signature changed. Now i am looking for a working Media Hub app for my T-Mobile tab.

EDIT: SOLVED..... well i decided to try something, my signature changed after replacing the build.prop to get the AT&T Media Hub to work i thought of restoring my original build.prop that i had backed up, and everything seems to working ok, Media Hub still works and now i finally have my original signature.....

Going to flash my stock VZW tab tomorrow- what would everyone suggest for the best rom to start with?
Thanks for replys!!!
Im running the stock rom with all the bloat Titaniumed out, and running adw ex launcher... the roms that are out for CDMA right now are too personalized for my taste...
However the KhasMek Voodoo Plus v3 OC Kernal is aaaaaaamazing!!! and definitely install Voodoo control App... again its aaaaaamazing!!
So i flahed the khasmek voodoo rom. So sorry if this is a dumb question, but why wasn't the market installed? I tried to install it, but it just kept crashing.
Thanks!

I had the same problem... plus my email would routinely give me an error, again making it crash... and it also brought up a process.acore error about every 3 min... so i just went back to stock, installed the kernal only and now customized my own rom
What's it take to just install the kernel? has it affected the stability
So can i just flash the kernel only with sgs kernel flasher?
Sent from my SCH-I800 using XDA App
honestly not sure about with sgs flasher... I used Hiemdall... all you have to do is:
1. put your tab into DL mode
2. plug into your comp
3. open the driver package, in the driver folder that comes with hiemdall
4. tell it to list all devices, chose Samsung USB composite, and upload the driver
5. open the hiemdall frontend
6. put the kernal file in the kernal and recovery slot
7. flash... done
hope this helps
and stability is great!! havent had a single problem and I run the hell out of my tab almost all day
yeah dont use sgs flasher. i doubt thats safe
Thanks admir1. Are you using the overclocked kernel or just the regular 1?
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA App
I didnt know I was supposed to put the tab in DL mode, I just mounted it and it came up as samsung tablet in the drivers section, thats what installed. Did I screw it up for this PC to work for flashing now?
I think you should be fine? As long as when you flashed the kernal in hiemdall it said successful you should be good to go...
And I'm using the OC kernal

After my USB port stopped working on my GS2 for data transfer etc but worked for charging I tried everything possible to get it to work again, after many things I decided to give an app a go called MultiMount-SD. To my surprise after installation my USB port started working allowing me to
Flash back to stock firmware. This could be coincidence or pure luck but I can't test this solution so if anybody has this issue give this app a go and post your results please
P.S. I used the paid version of MultiMount-SD so not sure if the lite version will/does work.

The other day I factory reset my Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus without backing it up.
F*ck that smilie face.
Anyways, when I first turned it on after the reset I received an error message stating "The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectadly. Please try again." This message comes up every time I power on my tab. I've tried fixing permissions with ROM Manager but both it and Superuser force close. I can no longer connect to any wifi, I know its the tab and not the router. I've tried open wifi at McDonalds, unlocked the wifi here and tried but still wouldn't connect, however my 360 connects to my home wifi just fine.
Before I reset the tab I know I deleted some stock apps like Browser and Samsung apps that came with it that I wasn't going to use and were taking up space, but that has been months ago and I haven't had any of these problems until I reset it.
When I rooted so I could try using ROM manager I used root.zip, and then downloaded the superuser.zip and installed both from my sd card, but I can't update the superuser binaries or grant superuser rights to any apps.
I'm not really sure what to do, my tablet is a mess. I was thinking just a clean install of 3.2 could fix most if not all issues but I can't find it anywhere online.
Any help is really appreciated.

When I had my NOTE 2 - someone had created a flashable file that we could flash after flashing an International or Tmobile ROM.
Normally, after flashing those roms - The Build Prop would identify the phone as that carrier's phone instead of the ATT model I was using.
Flash the Fix and the phones identity in build prop was returned to what is normally is - so in this case, if we had it for the ATT S4 - we could flash a TMOBILE ROM and immediately after flash this and our phone would show that it was still an SGH I337 device.
I used this all the time and it worked flawlessly - I don't have the ability to create this kind of thing - but am happy to donate to someone who does?
I think a lot of people would get great use out if it.
Wouldn't it be simpler to keep a copy of your build.prop on your sd card that you can bring back over with a file manager?

I don't know - I thought there were other things in the build prop that were specific to the rom you were running - look - I am not a developer - so I can't speak to whether that is a good idea or not - but my gut says it wouldn't be -
This flashable file was created by someone - a developer - so there must have been a reason he thought it was a good idea - right?
All I know is that it worked well for me and I am hoping someone will be kind enough to do it for our phone too.
I'm running a totally stock Sprint Galaxy S4. I recently updated my firmware and I'm now unable to connect to Odin or use MTP for file transfer. My phone will mount as a camera. I have used various cables to rule that out. I also went to the Samsung website to get the latest usb drivers. I went so far as to wipe my phone too. Does anyone know how to fix this? I would like to root my phone. I have a stock recovery so I'm limited on what I can flash. I also downloaded official firmware but had signature issues. Please help Lord Vader. I must destroy Jedi Scum.

You need to flash the newest kernel for your device, this has been fixed.
