Missing Person

I just received a phone call that a family member is missing. If your in the Massachusetts are please go here for information.
If your not in the Massachusetts area please keep him and are family in your prayers.
I am posting this on any forum that I am an active member. We want him found alive and spreading the information with help achieve this.

Sounds like he goes offroading. I do too and have a couple friends out that way that do the same, I'll ask around.

Damn man,sorry to hear this. Did he have a cell phone on him? If so see if they can triangulate the signal before the battery dies.

There isn't any chance the person who disappeared would pull a stunt like that for April Fools is there? I know it sounds heartless but that's the first thought that popped into my head.

If this is a april fools prank by him then he is going to be in alot of trouble by us (his family) and the authorities.
He's never done anything like this. He is a straight person. He has a wife and 2 kids. He's never been into drugs or anything illegal. He's a working class man and is all about his family. As much as we hope this is a ****ed up prank we highly doubt it is.

I'm sure it isn't just an incredibly messed up prank, I'm just the sort if person who assumes the worst in people and given the current "holiday" it seemed like a possibility.
If I was in Ma I'd do anything I could to help, and my heart goes out to you guys in the meantime.

Just for the record, whoever you are have no reason to be "scared" or anything like that by contacting me. Obviously we don't care that you're rooting your phone since we've helped you everytime, it's just getting to the point that someone seriously needs to help you out. Just edit the OP, and have the user PM you, that way it stays private and allows the user to not have to come forward publicly. Honestly though, if the user does see this, there's no reason to be embarrassed... we were all unfamiliar with how to do this stuff at one point or another (Im still not great at it, but good enough to get by), and learning how to do so is nothing to be ashamed of.

I hope so, otherwise I'll probably jump on the Shift Evo bus. Since I got this EVO new when I changed from T-Mobile to Sprint, I can try to change it.

I asked him if I could donate any money to him for his efforts; I hope he didn't take that as me being pushy. He'd mentioned that money was tight earlier, and I thought I'd help pay him for his time.

how about we pull some money together for the effort he is putting in to the things he has done for us if money is tight. any money helps i would know lost both of my jobs making ends meat by doing freelance graphic design.

I prefer to support his voluntary effort to get it done than dangle a carrot in his face. Even if he doesn't eventually get root for the EVO, his work has earned him a couple meals at Hooters on me.

Apparently the USB connector in his Vibrant broke, he was unable to charge.

Returned from assistence and phone is not repaired

Hello everyone .. My nexus s not read any sim card so I took it in for service .. I come home and the problem remains the same .. I call them and tell me that the only explanation is that the phone is "SIM lock" but I read on the net that the nexus s are not blocked by the operators .. I throw my nexus?

We can't help you until you give the info we're asking for. Who did you go to? What model is your nexus? What rom are you running? "All rom" doesn't count. Rooted?
I actually have a guy in mind who can fix your phone (I think)!! I read about him in some old book, dude has a soft voice, creeps some people out with his hippy message (all that crap about peace and love!) And was a carpenter before. He's really famous, most people visit him on Sundays, he's like the clean up guy from "Michael Clayton ". I'll talk to him, if he's not busy he'll pm you.
