SETUP/USAGE

(SETUP)
1) Copy files to \windows folder
2) Create MMS/GPRS connection for your operator
3) Run \windows\MMSd.exe
4) Fill your operator's data in
(USAGE)
5) Now you can send/receive MMS
6) When MMS is received a message box appears asking you to "Download it now". Just choose to download it now
7) Wait for "Download Complete" message. Tap "Ok" and wait for "Files saved" message
8) When "Files Saved" message appears just choose to "Read MMS now". This will open your MMS in Pocket Internet Explorer
9) To send MMS: use Windows Explorer to find your multimedia file first
10) Then, tap and hold on this file until you get "Deliver via MMS" option in your tap-&-hold menu
11) Choose this option and fill in all needed information

q: I got error while downloading my MMS can I re-download it?
a: Open your \Temp folder, find file with "Envelope" icon and tap on it. Then choose to 'Download it now'
q: to correctly display name of senders
a: make sure they comply to int'l notation of +{country code}{area/city code}{phone number}
q: 3gp/mp4 playback
a: You need to use external player to play content of such type
q: where are the notification messages? i.e. New MMS received and etc...
a: First, uninstall all other MMS-related software (ArcSoft's, EZWap's, Pixar's...) and Second, check your operator's service timeout policy, e.g. when you don't pickup MMS for a while your operator may disable this service for you and you will need to re-activate it again

I have a problem
I have XDA II and I've install this application, and saved the configuration now when i try to send mms say:

Hi, i have solved simply to unistall and intall again, now a new problem i try to receive an mms but when I push ok to donwnload now say:
establishing modem connections...
Connection Error
Port opening error, disconnect from other GPRS connections first.
But why? i only set in settings ----> connection the same parameters like in winndows 2003 with apn...... Please help me thanks

Facing some wierd error ...
Could u please help on this... I've succesfully installed your application and have also applied all the required settings. Now whenever I plan to sent a file, it starts sending alomst 6% to 12% of the msg, but then fails and gives me an error claiming that the msg has failed...
Could u plz tell me what I'm doing wrong ...

[APP] Pocket Freeware (developer release .13)

I have updated the pocket freeware program with the help & permission of the Freewarepocketpc.net site.
I am looking for 1) feedback & suggestions, 2) testers, 3) B4PPC developers to help out - I want this to be a program that is useful and maybe even be something that could turn into an "App Store" someday (limited to what freewarepocketpc.net, of course)

I've started another project over at Basic4PPC - this is called "Pocket Freeware" The goal was to create a client that would let you scroll through the software titles at Freewarepocketpc.net and install them directly onto your PDA.

Install instructions: unzip & copy to PDA. Program will create any directories and files that it needs. (this is a developer's build. future public releases will have a cab)

1. View applications by New, or by category (edit categories.txt file to customize what categories you want)
2. View application detail - if app was installed by "Pocket Freeware" it will have checkmark and show both installed date and latest available date.

Instructions & hints
1. Checking an unchecked box in the details page will download and install the app
2. Clicking on the image in the details page will enlarge the image. Click on image again to minimize.
3. Little "X" in right hand corner of details page will close the details & return to listing
4. Double click (or press enter on dpad) to select application to view details. I may add the detail launch on the main page image in a future release

The owner of the PocketFreeware site had some concerns with it, so I decided not to continue it. However I have been trading e-mails with them so something may come out of it.

Yea, I saw that... too bad cuz I flash from time to time and don't have a back of a file. Anyway thanks for the info.

The PC version works ok; the ppc one, instead, not: the upper part (where in pc there is the app list) is blank, and i can only see the description of the first item (as now PockeTwit) and its image. Nothing else. The lower part (WVGA-VGA) is also blank.
Device: HTC Touch HD, rom 1.13 ITA

Thanks. I'm using an external library for some of the controls (ie the listbox that doesn't show on your pda) and thought they would size properly.
The HTC Touch HD has a screen size of 480x800 - I'll check the code to make sure it handles this.
UPDATE: I made some changes on how controls are sized and tested this in the 240x320, 240x400, 480x640, and 480x800 emulators. They seem to be working correctly now.

Pulled the links again? All I see on the basic4ppc thread appears to be source code? and no link to anything here either. Dead project?

When I go to the Market with Acer A5000, I got often " The item cannot installed in your country " and " "The Request item count not found" ( I checked the local times ,but not work !) . This problemes do not happen when I take with the Galaxy tab .

I have the same problem. Got the a500 in US, installed some apps (gps status and toolbox, xscope brower...) without any issue. Now back to Vietnam, failed to install xda app, angry bird...

Manual Download Manager for XperiFirm

(I hope this post is in a suitable category? If not, please inform me! )
Manual Download Manager for XperiFirm is a download manager which automatically adds all files in a list and automatically generates the appropriate name!
I have programmed the program because I had to enter each file name by myself, and the default downloader from XperiFirm cant handle my bad connection....
Im not good at saying much about stuff that i have made, so please ask when something is unclear!
Currently its tested with the links for the latest Xperia Z1 Update,but i will add more link patterns when needed!

EDIT #1:
I have More informations, Google means the program is a virus(Win32:Evo_Gen [Susp]) but when I test the file with any virus scanner then they all say the file is save so it's a false positive, I will play with the settings for the compiler, it's a known problem from the compiler...

Everything that i try fails with a false positive from 1-3 virus scanners, I'm using Autoit cause it's simple but always there are the false positives...
I don't want to steal any data or wreck any PC so please trust me: Its Save -> Its just a false positive!
When someone trusts me then i will upload the files to my website server or to Mega and add the new links.
(I can also give the source, when no one trusts me. )

[Q&A] Direct Pen Input dependencies missing

Hello,
in attempt to debloat my N910C I somehow removed the Direct Pen Input ( Blue" T " on text input hover ).
Fortunately I still have all the debloated apps in a proper folder structure on my pc.
When I click the mentioned " T " nothing happens (no FC).
My question is: could someone pass me the list of dependencies/apks needed for it to work?
