new rom , backup original

hi , im looking at installing the Davideuck_6.5_V-4, 21169/2Davideuck_6.5_V-4, 21169/21159 + Topaz stuff-RELEASED[3/3/09]
which im not too sure how to do and i want to backup my original rom again which im not sure how to do
any help on this will be very much appriciated

im looking at the Flashing a rom with the XDA-Tools from OliNex thread on wiki , would that be the correct one ?

iv changed the spl but im strugling on the rom update

olinex will do for you yes, but then you need a rom too
i really think you need to read a bit more yet else you are going to find yourself upset

just hard reset you will come back to the existing rom

Need Help for flashing Custom Rom (I'm German)

Is it enough when I do all steps in the tutorial above or do I have to do this method before flashing ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=358225)
I want Just Stable 6.1 on my Device.

Hey man, its very easy now for me to flash my device.
I did the folowing steps
1. Go on thewingster.com and choose a nice wm 6.1 rom
2. Then follow this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=358225
(you must do that, other wise you will brick your device)
3. Then I followed this http://thewingster.com/howtoflashnbhuspl.aspx
4. Congratulations, now you have a new rom
if you need more help please contact me !
But i don't know, if i want try a new rom now, that i must do the step 2 again ??? I think not.

HardSPL
For my undersanding by reading the toturials: if you've made the HardSPL its donne. You only have to do that for one time.
From now on you can change the roms of your choice.

Yes, i do undeerstand them. But for shure i did read everything i cold find about poblems by doing that.
I think, i'll give it a try this evening.There are a lot of ROMs much better then my WM6.0.---And I need that little more RAM comes with those clean ROMs

I'm writing couse everything is changing so fast and i don't want to make any mistake...
i just bought U8800 and i think its rly good Smarthphone.
Would any of U be that kind and help me with this mobile.
My android version is 2.2.2, stock everything.
I have Windows 7 laptop and Windows 8 on PC.
What i want ?
I want in safest possible way do all things to my device runs smoother and faster also without any bugs and locks.
Can someone explain exactly withs is best way to recover root and clockwork my mobile also how can i make it run 1ghz and I want install AuroraSP.
i found few ways to root device but don't wanna rush it thats why I'm asking someone much more experienced
what should i do 1st and last to be happy owner of working android with AuroraSP inside. ( or other if thats bad )
please send working links for download.

for rooting on froyo.. i think you can use an app called z4root.. i think its on playstore not sure..if not try too google and find it.
upgrade to gingerbread

I would recommend that after rooting and installing a custom recovery (ClockworkMod) you should make a full nandroid(complete OS + data) backup and keep it safe on your pc or sd card before you do anything else.
once you have are rooted have a custom recovery.. and a nandroid backup you are ready!..
remember.. when flashing ROMS.. check the baseband..which means.. if you are on gingerbread ROM.. official or otherwise.. you can flash any gingerbread ROM.. if you want to flash a ROM based on ICS.. you should get on ICS baseband.. for that you need to upgrade to official ICS.. then you can flash whatever ICS ROM you want..
as for flashing instructions... the ROM builder will have included that.. so read it.

I managed to do it with Forumber2 help (thanks Again)
OK I installed b526 from internal then I installed b518 from internal then +/- volume and power pressd long till pink ... connect to pc change image recovery.img to TWR 2.6, then I made backup, next step was put zip file with auroraSP on internal ... then wipe andwanced dalvik cache data ... wiped ... install zip choose .zip

Hi guys! My friend has just brought HTC HD2 running gingerbread already. He wants me to update it to jelly bean. I have previoulsy rooted and install custom roms many times but I am not sure if the procedure is same for the htc hd2. Is it ok to download a custom rom and then copy it to SD card and wipe all three and then install the rom? Or there are other measures to be taken before installing? Please someone kindly guide me!

Dear Friend , this is almost the usual way to do it ... but if you failed to boot the ROM , try to use the partition size mentioned in the ROM thread ( Well , in HD2 you need to Partition the internal memory - NAND - to get android to boot ... it can be done by choosing the exact Partition size and then flashing the Bootloader again - do a task29 first the flash the Bootloader - and then flash the recovery and finally flash your ROM ) ... Good luck
