This is a new one, I agree with hawks, try a factory reset first then see if the problem still persists.
Yeah tried factory reset, tried creating a new account an all but still no sound, it was the over the air update

if nothing else works you could always downgrade using the appropriate RUU, which can be found here
Wifi and phone network
Same problem for Wifi, but also for phone network (3G/Edge/simple phone). If my phone is not used for about 2 hours, I must deactivate "Data" and "Wifi", and then reactivate them, to have a working data connection.
Anyone has the same problem ?
Hello,
For new Android market that is rolling out now, will we will get the new Android market even if our phones have been rooted and have custom ROM on it?
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
I couldn't imagine them doing anything specific just to (I'm sure only momentarily) annoy people with rooted phones.
If your market works now I'd say there's a fairly good chance the new one will as well. Although I cannot confirm it.
Yes, the new one works. I use it since.yesterday on my dhd.

Anyone else getting problem with it not showing your installed apps? Only showing 11 apps when I just counted I actually have 55 apps installed. Don't want to have to uninstall and reinstall all them just so they show up.

I'm waiting for the offical one just to come along.

A restart and a bit patience sorted the problem.
Overall I like it. Would rather there was a my apps button on the front page but in not going to go on a murderous rampage because its missing.
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA Premium App
From what I can see it is a very data hungry application as it can take a while to fire up when network connection is on the slow side.
i still havent got the update on my dhd.
so there are different release dates between different regions right?
Ye, Google did say the update (which will go on your phone auto, so no need to go to settings and update) will be with us all between now and up coming weeks.

i hope the version that goes arround is not the final one cause beside being very laggy it is buggy. it broke a market link of an installed ap while trying to update it.
also even though it showed me one app being able to update it didn't allowed me to. clicking on it brought me to the apps details page and there i could only open or uninstall it.
i could onlly update apps if i had more than one by clicking update all.
p.s. oh and not to forgot: the amount of traffic it causes is extrem! a multiplactive of the old one, as if they would not cache the images of the apps showcase on the front page.

Agreed, same problem here, uninstalled the update. Don't like the new layout, hard to find things.
I have uninstalled the update and gone back to the last version. New one is almost unusable on anything other than a perfect cell connection.

Same here but i guess i'll keep it as it looks great, just a matter of few days to get habitual of it
when i click on download in new market it is starting to download for ages
when i reset phone it download the file immediately
Am I the only one, who thinks the new Metro-look (WP7 like ) is ugly?
I dont see any slowness. The only thing that bothers me is the updates. With the old one you could see the updates right away. With this one not so direct.
Ok so for example, when I entered twitter, it didn't find the twitter app. Only till I entered "tweet". And it almost always shows the app Lookout security & Antivirus, as like the 5th search result. And some other apps, like Nimbuzz, Quickoffice Pro will almost always show up. This happened since I flashed my phone back to the T-Mobile (I had debranded) firmware and then upgraded to 2.3.5.
Maybe covered in here too:

Not sure if this is the same issue and apologies if I've missed another thread on this. I lost both books and movies from market a few days ago. Also searches only show a very small selection of apps but says there's thousands available. Wonder if anyone else has noticed this?

I think you guys accidentally set the app filtering to high. Remove the filter. Happened to me before.
Just uncheck all then apply and recheck all and apply.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
Depends on the CSC code.
Everybody got the same following bug?
If some app page in market loads through 3G and you switching to WiFi while loading - it won't load until force restart market app.
I have got the same thing.. I cannot find anything properly. Its like the search engine is fubar.
When I search "stargate ", it says there are 107 results, yet only about 10 are in the list. I'm finding this problem with every search I do, yet my filter is set to show all apps. Maybe if someone who has cm7/miui could see it it happens to them, we could then deduce whether it is Samsung firmware to blame, or just an android market issue.
There is also another issue where in sometimes when u search an app with full name the market will keep on loading with the grey screen and does not go past it. However if part of the name is searched the results come instantly.

We can rule this out if no one is having as now I feel its because of network issue from my end.

Had the same issue last night. I was playing video around 6pm eastern then around 7-7:30pm I was unable to watch any video because it would force close on me. Then I tried my HTC Thunderbolt and it was working just fine. Then I checked the market on my tablet and it was not even showing up in my apps but it was showing up on my tablet apps. Then I went market via browser and it was showing up not avalaible for my tablet but it was avaliable to all my phones. As far as I am aware of it is still not available.... Nope I just checked the market via web browser and it still not showing up (5:30am Est). I hope this is fixed by the time I get back home in the next 11H 30M

Having seemingly got rid of my alarm clock freezes and other weird stuff I still get problems with Play music on my note 3
It hangs with app not responding. I use all access and the crash occurs when browsing around albums etc, whilst playing a track.
The log report shows caused by:
"ANR keyDispatchingTimedOut"
I've looked at comments on the Play store and searched around, I can't find any recent threads on this issue.
Not sure if this is my note having issues again or is it common?

Just wondering about your settings. Could be a crash caused by our specifics.

Well , I use almost the same setting than you do , except "download via wifi" is checked.
I think it could be something with cover arts , do you download the albums that you have uploaded on Google servers?
I 've a couple of albums I've uploaded , and I like to see nice covers , maybe if you tag your MP3 with a cover "too big" , it could make a problem with that "java.langOutOfMemory error?
Really it is only an assumption , I don't know too much about programming and stuff like that...

Actually , I've deleted all my music cached on my phone , and just by browsing my collection online it crashes...
Also , I've found a micro SD card , so I've tried to insert it in the phone , and chose to cache the music on it.Guess what , crash
Must be a memory leak or something like that , since when I restar my phone , it works for a couple of minutes before it crashes.
I've sent like hundreds of crach logs to Google , emailed the support , and I see I'm not the only one to have the issue.
If Google doens't push an update of this application , I guess spotify will get my 10 euros/months.

Yeh I've sent loads of logs and tried to email support. I haven't even had a reply back.
It's not good having to pay for such a crap service. I notice they have made it harder to contact them now, took ages to navigate all the useless forms/topics to get to send an email. In the end I emailed them on an address I used over a year ago. Still not heard back. Going to try calling them on the nexus sales line and see if they can give me a contact.

I tried something , that could be totally wrong but it doesn't cost anything to try :
Go to Setting - Application manager - Running - Google Play Music.
Then you should see 2 services , and one named something like "Art download " or something like that.
I turned that service off , rebooted the phone and played 10 minutes only with the application without crach
It could be only a coincidence but who knows?
EDIT Don't even try , I just had another crash.....OK Google play good bye for good.

I'm sure you probably haven't but have you had problems with:
A: The stock alarm clock failing and crashing. Ok since my last factory reset.
B: Google maps crashing randomly
C: Blurry pictures with low-med light and black lines in video recording with wifi enabled.
D: Is your note a new build or one of the first released?
Just wondering if the first batch of note 3s have faults with memory etc.

I'm sorry , I can't remember , there was a firmware update as soon as I unboxed it , and now I'm on stock XXUDMK2.
I'm just amazed this phone has 3 GO of Ram , and I only have 10% left.
I'm pretty sure this is because all that Samsung bloatware that eats all the Ram.
Are you on stock firmware? Maybe Cyanogenmod could do something for us ?

Lame because I like to play random trivia with my gf so she expands her music horizons
