Dear Milestone 2 community,
I noticed that we're a rather lazy community. Barely sharing experiences, eagerly waiting for the first ROM to come out. Maybe it is due to our community is not yet the biggest but I still think we are privileged with our fine device.
Coming from the Xperia X1, we had a thread where we'd post our homescreen custimization. The result was new ideas and lots of eye candy. I hope you play along in this thread and give a fine description (WITH SCREENSHOTS) what your home screen looks like.
FYI: Snapping screenshots is not the easiest thing on a android. However - when you rooted your phone (what I assume have most of us done) you search the market for the app called "Shoot Me" and you just gotta shake your phone to have it copied in a folder on your SD Card etc.
Here I go:

Description: Screenshot is a modified Xperia X1 Wallpaper. Someone ove at the X1 forums made it. Starting the Preview 1 on the left, I have a widget to cover my data amount and a notebook for some notes. Going right I have a big widget that keeps me up to date with missed calls, sms and emails. It's called Executive Assistant. Going right there I have a picture frame (somethign called big picture or so...), weather on dirty paper and a toggle widget.
Preview 2: Some of my fav apps sorted on the left. Going right you see my favourite contacts in animated circles. The right picture shows me simple lockscreen with some snow flakes falling forcasting my local weather (animated as well...). Shoot Me is not so good in capturing animated things...anyway, it serves our purpose...
Hope you like the idea of the thread!
What app did you use to change the lockscreen?
I'm still using the stock one...
Sent from my Brazilian Milestone 2 using XDA App
Edit (on PC): Now adding my screenshots......can't post links so: hxxp
I use ADW Launcher with a mix of two themes: Black Glass (some icons) and BuuF (wallpaper). Which is one option to Blur Homescreen.
Screen 1: Internet tethering apps EasyTether (for Ubuntu) and PdaNet (for Windows), 3G Watchdog widget, Gesture Search and Alarm Clock Plus (I use DockAwake to make it default).
Screen 2: I keep all my toggles in one page.
Basic Toggles on the top.
Extended Controls Toggles: Air Plane Mode, USB and Led Flashlight
DCSwitch: the best app to enable/disable 3G data connection.
Volume Ace Pro: Control all kinds of sound your phone makes. And profiles on Pro version.
Root Explorer: Explore all your filesystem
Market Enabler: For not american phones, access to US Android Market
Screen 3 (default) : Some stock apps.
Fring: Multiple accounts messenger like Ebbudy.
AppBrain: Reinstalled all my apps after messing up with Milestone Overclock app
Overclock: 1.25GHz @ 62 vsel, by the way wich config do you use?
Screen Filter: Configs the screen light in a better way.
Atlantida: Regional radio station app
Screen 4 : My music players, XDA, Dropbox, Calculator, Messages, Titanium Backup and Metal Detector (Uses the magnetic sensor, that is used to open the dock station app too)
Screen 5 : Rarely used apps
Led Disco and Led Tester are nice to play with the RGB notification led
Rom Manager: I was able to install Apex Rom 1.3.1 for Droid 2 without problems, but with no cellphone connection since models have a different antenna. I have a nandroid of it.
ConnectBot: use to connect via SSH to my iPod 3G.
Well that's it. Uff...
Edit: added images, are they too big? I don't know how make them smaller...
Yours looks great. I am still waiting for a root method to be available for my phone and i can join the modding fun.
@dangpzanco
The lockscreen is called "WidgetLocker" but it cost the one or other dollar.

No, Temp doesn't work either. I don't want to jack this thread though, I posted in the "Root" thread.
I'm new with Milestone 2 and fighting with the blur.
When i finish choosing my launcher, remove the blur i'll post my shots too!
Thank You dangpzanco. I hope you don't mind - I put up your screens so its easily accessible for everyone.
I have not over or underclocked my cpu yet. I'd probably rather downclock it to save battery. But I prefer to leave it alone, haha. Some questions: what is fring for, what app brain (like backing up with Titanium Backup?). MarketEnable seems like a nice things - are there plenty more apps then? And what is Dropbox for? Moreover you seem to use a lot of player

Fring: login to MSN, GTalk, Yahoo, ICQ, AIM. All unified. It was quite famous on Nokia S60 Symbian phones, I had a Nokia E51
AppBrain: Manage all your apps (update, install, unninstall, regional/custom search, BACKUP online but only the list not the apk)
Titanium Backup: local backup, freeze system apps to semi-deblur (pro version)....
MarketEnabler: more apps than brazilian app store.
Dropbox: 2Gb free online storage, I use to transfer apps from pc to phone.
Music Players: I was trying to find a FLAC Player for my Beatles collection, only the AMPlayer does it, but it's not a good one.
PS: overclock is safe, just don't forget to uncheck the "autoload on boot" when testing clocks. If you don't, phone will bootloop. In theory you just have to take the sd card out (find out this after reflashing old nandroid).

Hello,
I'm a new user of android and looking forwards to introducing my milestone 2, only just rooted it today, so will start customising soon, will probably try titanium backup to freeze what I can of blur and widgetlocker looks interesting, is the live wallpaper lock screen (can't think of any other way to describe it) integral to widgetlocker?
Thanks for your help.
P.S. tried to post the steps I took to root my phone using z4root but my post count is too low!

@oTToToTenTanz
What App do you have in the middle picture of preview 2. The round contacts really looks nice!
I using:
ADW Launcher EX
ADW Theme Digital Soul
simi Clock
Switch Pro widgets
and
Flickie Wallpappers
@BladeMaestor
The "live lock screen" is my normal "WidgetLocker" lockscreen. Moreover I have this program called "Weather & Toggle" and there is an additional app to get animated forecasts. When it snows, snow flakes come down the lockscreen, when the sun is shining, a sunbeam will welcome you back to your device.
@Blo234
It's called "Animated Widget Contact Launch". I recommend you to try it out. It's really cool.
But folks, how about posting some screenshots of your devices? Would really look forward to see your homescreens and so on!
edit:
@Blady-jack
this looks decent, I like it! Is that a live wallpaper in the background? You really kept it simple and lots of eye-candy! Thanks for sharing!

No, this simple jpg from Flickie Wallpapers.
Was using Milestone, just switch to Milestone 2
Using ShadowMOD 2.3 rom on MS, now switching back to 2.2 XD
But I have some problem with my MS2
I cannot root it
tried z4root and universal androot, both failed, already followed the steps and checked usb debugging, z4root simply freeze my phone at the first time, and keep crashing after reboot
Is there any possible way to capture screen without root and connecting to computer?
digital camera =)
First time I tried z4root froze on my phone as well. But after reboot it worked. How many times did you try it. But don't brick your phone!

Tried all the different ways in the [How to] root ms2 post, like switching to airplane mode and reboot and root again, still doesn't work
go to "acquiring root shell" and it just exit to homescreen. re-launching it just get a force close...

ERIS LIGHTNING 3.01 UPDATED NOW WITH OVERCLOCK THANKS TO IVANMMJ FOR HIS OC KERNEL APPS2SD THANKS TO ANDRIZOID
This is a sense based rom. If you prefer a non sense based rom but like the red theme check out ErisLightningBolt
This rom is based on the newest 2.1v3 leak(4th leak). It is pretty much stock sense based.
Full Market thanks to JCase's market fix
Some Icons from Senseable rom thanks to Jamezelle
Also some of the red themed from Androids world Rom thanks to Twynn373
Root added
Wireless tether added
APK's zip-aligned
Navigation and all other stock apps seem to be working good.
Gmail pics are working on my phone(hope others can confirm this)
Themed battery widget(I didn't make the widget I only themed it to match. Was one of the free battery widgets in market)
I have been running this rom for a few days and everything seems to be working good. Let me know if you have any problems.
Version 2.03
Autokiller added for memory management
Dialerpad update for a better look
Apps2Sd NOW WORKING...Super big thanks to Andrizoid...he worked super hard to get this working for everyone..
Verison 3.01
Overclock up to 710mhz thanks to IVANMMJ's OC Kernel
A few minor graphics fixes
Removed Stock apps and amazon mp3 app
Install setCPU and use autodetect frequencies to overclock.
Patches to pick your battery indicator can still be used with this release.
Version 3.02
New kernel overclock up to 864 or so but I don't recommend going over 768. It will very by phone after that if you can handle it. It will probably lock your phone and need a battery pull. Thanks to Zanfur for great work on this kernel. I have made an update to go from 3.01 to 3.02 so you don't need to wipe.....3.01to3.02 update
***Warning apps2sd may shorten the lifespan of your sd card. If you would like to run this rom without apps2sd do not partition your sd card***
To get apps2sd to work you need to:
1. backup your sd card(copy all your files on to pc)
2. boot into recovery
3. select Partition sd card
4. select Partition sd
5. when that is done select SD:ext2 to ext3 you can use the default values when it asks
6. Flash rom then you can copy all your files back to your sd card.
Extra big thanks to all the great minds in this community that take the time to help us all.....

The word ERIS on the top of the screen is actually the battery indicator in case you didn't realize that....
Also on first boot you will see a custom Icon for the market. Unfortunately the market is installing an updated apk automatically which will revert that icon to the original market icon. If you want the red icon go into settings/applications/manage applications, find market and uninstall updates.
Usual disclaimer use at your own risk, I am not responsible for what you do to your phone.
Download this Rom from HERE
To make it easier to switch to whichever battery indicator you prefer to use I have made updates to flash over the rom. Just flash them like you would install a rom but DO NOT do a data or davlik wipe first. You must have one of the ErisLightning roms installed first. You can flash back and forth if you want to use different battery indicators at any time.

Looks very cool
very very cool looking.. thank u!
Nice!!!
Flashing now will repost in a few hours w/ thoughts/bugs or whatever.. but bad ass looking theme thanks man..
UPDATE:
So I have been running the rom for about 12 hours or so with pretty heavy usage and I have had no issues at all mms check facebook sync check no dropped calls check everything i could test is a go and i tried a **** load of stuff.. It does get a little slugish from time time but nothing horrible and I so will trade it for stability which this has..Only thing i did notice is what the member below stated is on the dialer, the colors could be shaded different or something like I had to call a business yesterday that does one of them toll free numbers like 1800xdacool "just a example" and I was barley able to make out the letters colors.. would like to see one in blue lol... j/k thanks for the work again great job..
Love this theme!
This rom is really cool. I didn't think I would like the red theme but it feels very comfortable when you turn it on. The only negative for me is that I have a hard time with the red phone keys because they are a little bright...if they had some shading they would be easier for me to use. All in all...a great theme rom and I will probably use it for a while. Thanks!

Great rom. Pretty quick.
My only complaint is the "ERIS LIGHTNING" contacts placeholder message in the Dialer.
I would change that to something like the Vanilla dialer's phone icon, only red or a red android (even though most dislike the android guy.)

not a fan of the images in the text boxes, but I can live on.
wallpapers don't work though. I set one and it doesn't change. this happened after I restored sense with titanium. its stuck on that default bokeh wallpaper, trying to get back to the carbon fiber.

when you say wallpapers don't work you mean you can't change the default one at all? I have no problem changing the wallpapers so not sure why that is happening and some of the graphics are still a little rough around the edges and I am trying to update them slowly...
andrizoid...currently only going to 710
it was on the default one, I restored sense ui using titanium so that all my widgets and shortcuts would come back, and the wallpaper changed to the brighter bokeh wallpaper in the gallery (the default to evil eris, what I was using before)
I restarted, all fixed.

Lotus v1.0 (4/9/2011)
Introducing Lotus ROM. Anyone who has used my ROMs for the Incredible knows that my focus is on full featured, stable, smooth and (I hope) visually appealing ROMs that can be your every day driver. It is my sincere hope that this ROM will make your Thunderbolt more convenient and fun to use. Please note that this is just an initial release. I plan to optimize and re-engineer all of the apks in the ROM and add many more speed/graphics/feature tweaks. If you want this to be faster now, may I recommend flashing Ziggy's beta T-bolt kernel? The thing flies on this ROM .

Features
Based on Adrynalyn's Basic Debloated (build 1.12.605.9) , fully de-odexed, rooted and zipaligned;
Adrynalyn's 2.0 Sense kernel cooked in for battery life, but feel free to flash whatever kernel you want (obviously );
Matte Sense UI; "shiny" elements from the UI have been matted for a smoother, more refined appearance;
App drawer button moved to center and mapped to modded/themed version of Maxim's AppFolders, which allows users to fully customize their app drawer;
Right button mapped to browser (more maps to come);
Power widgets in notification pulldown, themed to fit with look of ROM, plus JSChiSurf's PowerControlSettings app;
Hidden location & ADB icons, percentage battery meter, Smooth Sense (animated) icons and working 6-bar signal indicator in statusbar;
3-in-1 power menu, with reboot, hot restart, etc;
Rmk's patched superuser;
Other UI mods, including dialer, custom skinned Friendstream, News and Twitter widgets, transparent background for lock screen, Roise launcher bar, clock, settings & profile widgets & more;
Zipalign and SD Card speed fix on boot;
Apps generally considered bloatware removed;
Working Hulu add-on;
Ability to uninstall many apps (including the HTC skins) via app manager, and many more (e.g. Friendstream, Twitter, etc.) via Gscripts that are pushed to your Sd Card during flash;
Much more...
Known Issues
4g toggle in power widgets not working (yet).
Skins are NOT compatible with this ROM yet (the buttons are messed up). Will be fixed for version 1.1.
Icons can switch around when adding shortcut to home via AppFolders (hot restart fixes this), see post #62 for stock app drawer version of Rosie that does not do this and post #64 for an AppFolders version that will not do this.
Contact info on in-call screen off center. Patch in post #63.
Probably haven't matted EVERY element of the UI yet...

BACKUP!!
Perform a full wipe (data, cache); PLEASE NOTE that the updater script will also wipe parts of data for this initial release. I repeat, flashing this will wipe data! Subsequent versions will not, although it is strongly recommended that you do so on your own.
Flash the ROM;
Let things load up and ENJOY!!
Thanks and Credits
In no particular order:
Anrynalyn for his great work de-odexing and de-bloating the base ROM AND his wonderful kernel(s);
Jcase and Team AndIRC for rooting this thing in the first place;
RMK for the patched superuser app;
succia, ihtfp69 and chingy for the advanced power menu;
jercik for the Smooth Sense icons, which I ported into this ROM;
brainmaster for the SD Card fix scripts;
ihtfp69 and deficitism for their work on the Inc, which I used to learn how to cook and mod;
JSChiSurf for his power widgets, which I ported into this ROM, and for his PowerControl Settings;
Maxim for his excellent App Folders;;
signals23 for info on hiding the MRU
Chingy for getting me interested in modding the T-bolt in the first place;
If I forgot anyone, it was unintentional. Please PM, and I will set things straight...thanks!
Warning/Disclaimer
You flash this ROM at your own risk, and neither I, as developer, nor are any of the individuals listed under "Thanks and Credits", above, are responsible for any consequences that may attend the flashing of this ROM. I have tested this ROM (Lotus v1.0) and found it to be stable during my own use, but this is an early release and has not been extensively tested by multiple users. Accordingly, by flashing this ROM, you are essentially a beta tester.

That is rather funny...I must have put an extra "o" in strings.xml when I was modding Rosie. Will fix.
Although, I kinda like "Phoneo"...
looks like a nice rom I"ll have to try it later on... the one mod I truly have found I can't do without is the 4x5 desktop... it just makes the larger screen look less empty... only rom I have found that uses this is perfect storm...
and since you remapped the rosie by moving the phone and app drawer does this mean that my current theme (distINCtion) will have the wrong icons placed over the phone and drawer?
Anyway to remove the 6 bar signal thing. It seems like on every rom I try that has that, my signal randomly drops to 0 and comes right back.

All that does is indicate signal strength, it has no effect on how much you get.
LOL
D
Right, but for some reason when I have that on, the signal will drop randomly to 0 and in like 1 second come back up. When im on the stock 4 bar indicator, this doesn't happen.
Also, when you make a phone call, the text of the contact name is slightly to the right. Can anyone confirm? I can attach screenshot in a bit

Patch Fix for Graphical Glitches
Hi all, I plan to make a small patch fix for the "phoneo" and contact text on in-call screen issues, as well as the Rosie icons switching around (which is really weird, but I know why its happening know). Please keep reporting anything else so I can include it.
Will release the patch either late tonight or in the morning. Thanks again.

THIS THREAD IS DEAD
This is my first shot at a AOSP style ROM. Hence the leanest ROM I have put together. This is based off of Droid Vicious's release which was based off a Galnet MIUI port. A lot of credit for this ROM belongs with D. Vicious but I figure I could help push this along with what I have been able to accomplish thus far.
Originally this ROM had quite a few bugs, still has a few. This is good enough for a daily driver (ive used it for over a week now) which is why I decided to release it.
I have a lot of great plans for this ROM so stay tuned as this is gonna grow by leaps and bounds (as time allows, stupid clocks)
First the thanks,
Team MIUI for a whole new outlook for Android
Cyanogen for additions taken from CM7
Google for Android
Team G..... (unspoken in these parts)
For combining both ICS and GB to birth this
Droid Vicious

Wow. See, this is what's awesome about the dev community. You can take where someone left off and continue to improve. Thank you Thunderstick for continuing Vicious's hard work! Flashing soon!

Nice. I don't use mms but the extended phone settings is huge because it affects my Google Voice settings. Well played.

Thanks Thunderstick! I thought you had left us for a sec since your other roms haven't had much action on their threads. I will certainly be flashing this when the bugs are worked out.

This rom runs very well right now. The blend of miui and ics is a good one. Curious to see what battery life is like tomorrow. Good job on this.

wow....great rom
This looks fantastic. Finally, a developer who knows how to make a rad rom and also makes it look aesthetically pleasing.
I have a question before I download, does this rom support CM7's theme manager? I like MIUI's notification bar but it's a hassle to modify.

Thanks so much for the time you put into this ROM. Looks great!
One question though. In the original MIUI ROM by Vicious there was a bit of a bug with the audio. Particularly (for me) when using audio output with the AUX port in my car the sound was very "tinny" or scratchy even. Is that problem still present in this ROM?
Which version of extended settings would you recommend flashing?
EDIT: Flashed V2 and it worked perfect.
So mms is sending, nice gonna have to try this after work. Thanks

I second this! I'll donate for it!
I'm working on a MOD for this...
It will be available later on today or tomorrow possibly.
For now though i am concentrating my efforts on getting the data notifications right.
Sense ROMs are slightly different when it comes to this I am finding. The challenge is exciting though...

Hi,
I always a big fan of thundestick and loving bareback now. Good job on building an ICS rom with working data. Does the faceunlock and app switcher work in this and also does it have any issue with the camera? Please let me know before i can try this. Thanks again.
rom ran great all day
battery life great
love it
I wanted to start a thread for community members to learn about some apps they might not know about, but would love if they did.
Mods, please don't move this to the "apps" sections. I understand it would be the likely choice. But in "general" it will be more viewed by the average user it's intended for. I'd like to encourage others to provide some apps or tools they use that they believe would be beneficial to the user.
Our tired EVOs might be using an AARP card by now, but some of these programs may give it a new feel and breath life back into the OG.
1. ROM Toolbox: Even tho I know many of you are familiar with this app, I don't believe everyone knows it's full potential. Especially when you unlock "pro". What doesn't it do? Font changer, boot animations to pick from, cpu set, auto memory manager, root file explorer, a2sd, adFree, Termainl Emulator, backup and restore, kernel tweaks., one of the best uninstallers I ever used with the ability to "freeze" apps.
It's probably the most useful app ever invented for the rooted user. Has a clean interface and easy to navigate. Go check it out. It will replace about 20 apps you might already have.
2. Cache Cleaner NG: schedule cleaning on internal & SD storage. One click to clean. Simple, effective. Nuff said.
3. TSF Shell: A launcher that I was turned onto by a post from Ropodope. It's simply beautiful and like something you've never used before. The speed and response of this launcher is unmatched. And the animations are smooth. Tho it lacks a great deal of widgets, it makes up in customization and look you've never seen.
4. SPB Shell: another launcher, maybe even more visually appealing than TSF but with less options. It's a nice change of pace to the norm and something worth checking out.
5. CoPilot Live: GPS Navigation like you've never seen. About the only one I've found better than the Google mainstay. It downloads the maps to your SD. (About 250mb by region). This way it can guide you even if you lose data coverage. Clean interface. Easy to use and maps are updated often,
6. History Eraser by INFOLIFE: Simple. Cleans SMS MMS browser and call log in one click. Downside is even tho there is an option for you tube and search, it will lead you to manual erase.
7. iTag: Auto tags your mp3s. Adds album art from a huge database. This app is more complete than almost any program you can use for your CPU.
8. GTunes Music V6: music download. Has access to billboard charts to get popular radio play mp3s fast. But also finds songs that Frostwire can't. Upgrading unlocks more engines and you can find almost anything you can think of.
9. Crop Wallpaper: The ability to use entire picture as wallpaper. There is alot out there but this hands down the most effective and easy use.
10. Holo Launcher: ICS look and feel for GB. Super quick and small file size. Only surpassed in speed by TSF, this launcher does a great job emulating ICS when you still want use of FFC and camcorder. Not very customizable, but you're looking for ICS right?
Im sure there are a ton of apps out there "I" don't know about, but would become mainstays if I did. I encourage all of you to try some of these great apps out, but also give back and let others know some great ones you've found along your way.
Please refrain from posting about games, this thread is to be dedicated to "useful" apps.
Let's all learn a little more about the ever growing Android community.
Thanks for iTag didn't know about that one.
that stoner at Circle K
Buisness Calender: great if you use your smart phone as a personal organizer. This app syncs with Google so all your events will save to your account. Main advantage to this app is the plethora of Widgets available. With color combination and size structures. See below

CoPilot is just what I've been looking for. For some reason Google Maps will not pinpoint or navigate my phone when several other apps would so I know it's not my drivers.
Along the Calendar line, I use Pure Grid Calendar Widget...HipKat turned me on to that one
Battery Monitor Widget Free/Pro
Better Battery Stats...to check for wakelocks
Net Monitor...to check what tower you are connected to and signal strength and map to tower.
To name a few.
No Lock: very simple widget that will allow you to disable your lock screen. Simple. Effective. Can also be used as a fix for slow unlocks upon waking screen
SD Maid: a great program that cleans up the remnants of deleted files on your SD card. Thought you got rid of that stuff? Guess again. This program will 100% free up space on the SD. Whether its 1mb or 500mb you'll be happier in the long run. Try it out.
Indredicontrol for havs kernels
Easily and quickly adjust voltages and governers
KeepScreen: will disable screen timeout. Very useful when using certain car docks or Google books. Best part is you can set it to only work when specific apps are running.
Boot Manager....install and boot roms from sd card.... haven't yet dabbled with it but sounds cool
Screen Off Widget--click to turn off screen...also has an invisible widget!
Note Everything.... quite possibly the best note taking/reminder app I have used.
Reboot scheduler by dread7 let's u plan and schedule a reboot however often u want. Nice little widget also
sent using a freaking pigeon, with a note tied to its leg.
I like seeing people adding to this. Also glad that these apps you're listing are truly apps I've never heard of bit have caught my interest. Keep it going boys.
Llama, is a really useful app. You can train it to know your home /work area and then set actions based on when you enter/leave that area. So I have it turn to silent when I enter work, disable wi-fi etc then when I leave it switches all of those back on, handy!

Good idea man, here are a few I can't live without....
ChargeBar - Adds a highly customizable battery bar to whatever Rom you are on (Miui, reverse, or centered) (top or bottom or below status bar...or top or bottom of Nav. bar)
Amazon App Store - They give away a paid app everyday for free...nuff said!
Audio Manager - Perfect hide it app so your girl or friends don't see your porn files on your phone...also lets you hide SMS and apps you don't wanna have to explain...and its FREE! and updated regularly.
ScoreMobile - If you are a sports fan, this is a great app to use to follow your teams. You can set up alerts for the teams in whatever sport you wanna follow, also has up to the minute scoring in a great looking widget also has stats for the game at the push of a button...and its F.R. DOUBLE. E.!
Zedge - Hands down the best all in one wallpaper, ringtone, and notification downloader ever all in a beautiful interface and also FREE!
Quickpic - The best gallery replacement your phone will ever need. It has a beautiful UI and great animations, its updated regularly, and also FREE!
Doggcatcher - I love podcasts simply put, this app is expensive but worth every penny. Its easy to use, you can find what you want, and it has worked like a champ regardless of whatever Rom I've been on. Alot of the free podcast apps I've used are crap, can't pull everything I listen to, or can only stream. It is also updated regularly!
Enjoy!

I'd nominate BeWeather & Widgets Pro for a good weather app/widget. The animations are just beautiful and well worth the $.99 IMO.

Yeah. I like that BeWeather widget with the simple text. I got to say that's pretty tight.

These are some of the mainstream apps that I find useful:
Better Battery Stats: provides a comprehensive analysis of your battery usage
Titanium : backs up apps, system settings & data, call logs, messages
Pixlr o matic : a very useful picture editing app. Has tons of options and very easy to apply.
Audi manager pro : let's you set profiles and set schedules for them. Useful for me as I don't have to keep decreasing the volume when I get to work or setting the phone to silent when I sleep. The profiles are applied based on the set time.
Cam scanner : use your phone as a scanner. Allows you to take batch scans, enhance images, convert to pdf, password protect docs, integrated with Drop Box and Box for cloud storage
Convert pad : one stop for all your conversions. Let's you set user defined metrics too.
Glympse : real time gps tracking.
Distance and area measurement : let's you calculate distance of travel or area of the closed path you've taken.
SMS scheduler : schedules SMS to be sent whenever. No more grief from those friends who get upset if you don't wish em at 12am on their birthday
Smart app protector : lock specific apps. Useful to lock up social apps when handing your phone over to nosy people.
Adobe reader : very useful pdf reader.
DROID Stats : keeps a track of your calls, SMS, data and let's you keep a track of your costs and limits.

Not tried yet (maybe in the next day or two) as currently liking IUNI very much.
Downloading now, takes less than an hour for me (correction... less then 15 minutes). I can mirror it on Google drive if you want.

So i tested it. It Seems to be based on CM11s, because it has seems to have all its features (hardware/softwarebuttons toggle, the phone setup screen, theme engine with hexo theme, double tap to wake etc.)
Everything is translated except 4 (5 with keyboard) new apps (propably because its just themed cm11)
It comes pre-rooted with super user in settings.
The theme chooser isnt accessible normaly but i got a notification from a theme update which linked to the theme chooser
Features:
- nice design
- toggleable app drawer (standard disabled so you have only homescreens like in miui but shortcuts are removable and then not accessible with disabled drawer)
- All pop-ups appear on the bottom of the screen
- Changed about phone screen
- Shades app (really just like the Brightness toggle in quick settings)
- File manager with ftp and root support (but i couldnt get do /data)
- pre installed terminal emulator
- Now Browser as standard browser
There are 5 new Apps:
- Some sort of Hub app. I couldnt figure out what it does
- iFlytek Input ( a keyboard, its pretty crappy if you ask me)
- App China (probably the app store because there are no gapps)
- A music player (auto album cover download and theme support, changable accent color)
Screenshots:
http://imgur.com/a/aJb5F
Here are /system/app and /system/priv-app dump. Interesting are probably the launcher, the theme and the shades app
Dev-Host (attachment wasnt working)
In conclusion this is pretty much just a pre-themed cm11s with some small nice additions and disabled theme manager
Also been running this and have switched back to IUNI as I'm experiencing some bugs which make fundamental operation a problem and frustration.
No doubt they'll be fixed over time but right now, for me, this is not ready as a daily driver. Not close.
1. Some text is not visible. That is, it's near white on a white background. Theme needs some ATD.
2. As above when setting a pattern lock, there's no way to what you're set pattern is - it's a stab in the dark (white on white again). Found this out when setting up a VPN which requires a pass code or pattern, which leads me to....
3. VPN was not working. No problems on other ROMs or devices so I know the provider is OK. Maybe a CM issue.
4. Rotation lock is messed up. Lock it and it only works in some apps. File manager ignores it and goes into landscape mode which the makes the launcher go landscape too but then doesn't rotate back even if you disable rotation lock and the phone itself. To fix it, I have to go into something that obeys rotation lock (settings) and back out again. Or sleep/wake. Very tedious.
5. AppChina (?) FCs on boot. Easy to delete with RE I suppose but odd on first clean boot.
This was after only a few hours but: a) I need a VPN; b) I was tired with the messed up orientation issues.
Maybe give it another try in a month or two after a bit more polish.

Oh you have to sign it. Get ZipSigner from the playstore and sign it with that.
Then it should work
