I am currently working on my "SciLor's WiMoBlue". The new protocol is ready. Everything works fine, until I send much data at the same time.
For example if I try to send an image in that way:
Code:
Public Sub SendImage(ByVal Image As Bitmap, ByVal Position As Point, ByVal Format As ImageFormat)
Dim PosX, PosY, Width, Height As Byte()
Dim ImageStream As New IO.MemoryStream
Dim ImageLength As Integer
Dim ImageLengthBytes As Byte()
Dim ImageBuffer(MaxChunkSize - HeaderSize - 1) As Byte
PosX = BitConverter.GetBytes(Position.X)
PosY = BitConverter.GetBytes(Position.Y)
Width = BitConverter.GetBytes(Image.Width)
Height = BitConverter.GetBytes(Image.Height)
Image.Save(ImageStream, ImageFormat2ImagingFormat(Format))
ImageStream.Seek(0, SeekOrigin.Begin)
ImageLength = ImageStream.Length
ImageLengthBytes = BitConverter.GetBytes(ImageLength)
SendData(BuildCommand(BaseProtocol.Image, ImageProtocol.Initiate, CombineBytes(PosX, PosY, Width, Height, ImageLengthBytes)))
Thread.Sleep(2000)
Dim DataPos As Integer
For DataPos = 0 To ImageStream.Length - MaxChunkSize - HeaderSize - 1 Step MaxChunkSize - HeaderSize
ImageStream.Read(ImageBuffer, 0, MaxChunkSize - HeaderSize)
SendData(BuildCommand(BaseProtocol.Image, ImageProtocol.Data, ImageBuffer))
'WaitForNextChunk = True
'Do While WaitForNextChunk = True
'Loop
'Thread.Sleep(2000)
Next
ImageBuffer = New Byte(ImageLength - DataPos - 1) {}
ImageStream.Read(ImageBuffer, 0, ImageBuffer.Length)
SendData(BuildCommand(BaseProtocol.Image, ImageProtocol.End, ImageBuffer))
End Sub
SendData:
Code:
If Data.Length > MaxChunkSize Then
MsgBox("Data to long... " & vbNewLine & "SendSize:" & Data.Length & vbNewLine & "MaxSize:" & MaxChunkSize)
Else
If btClient.Connected = True And isRecieving = True Then
btStream.Write(Data, 0, Data.Length)
btStream.Flush()
End If
End If
Recieving Part:
Code:
While isRecieving = True
If btStream IsNot Nothing And btStream.DataAvailable = True Then
Try
Recieved = btStream.Read(myHeader, 0, myHeader.Length)
If myHeader(0) = HeaderIdentifier And myHeader(1) = OtherModeHeader Then
btStream.Read(myDataSize, 0, 2)
DataLength = BitConverter.ToInt16(myDataSize, 0)
myBuffer = New Byte(DataLength - 1) {}
Recieved = 0
Do Until Recieved = DataLength
If btStream.DataAvailable = True Then
Recieved += btStream.Read(myBuffer, Recieved, DataLength - Recieved)
End If
Loop
ExecuteCommand(myHeader(2), myHeader(3), myBuffer)
Else
Debug.WriteLine("WrongData")
Exit While
End If
Catch ex As Exception
Debug.WriteLine(ex.Message)
If Recieved = 0 Then
Exit While
End If
End Try
End If
End While
If I send the image, without Thread.Sleeps (huighe ones). The recieving stream gets weird. The gets btStream.DataAvailable = False forever. If I remove that ckeck, it hangs at the btStream.Read.
I also tried to fix that with waiting for the answer of the server, but the problem doesn't get solved.
Do you have any idea how to fix that problem?. In that speed the image sending is worthless

Hi guys
Could i get some advice from you... when i try these codes they fail? I'm not sure if i'm doing something wrong?
I enter the code e.g. *#1234# into the dial pad and press dial button...
A dialog pops up with the text
"ussd code running"
then another dialog pops up with the test....
"Connection problem or invalid MMI code"
Has anyone come across this problem?
When i enter *#06# for the imea number i don't even have to press dial it just pops up a dialog with the imea number immediately after entering the last #
Any help would be much appreciated

No result from code means either its not a SGS2 code but a SGS1 code usually .
Or the code is not relevant to your model .
Or like GPS code is so far none functioning .

Think he meant the headset volume, not the handset one?
But here's a pic where to change it I guess? Confirmation would be great!
(notice I've changed the volume from 80something to 96)
Doesn't seem to change anything tho...
perfect, mrfreddan, I think we also have to change the TX and RX volume, I have old Samsung I8910 and that's what I had to change on that phone. I will try it and let you know result. The volume on SGS 2 is way too low for me. But thank you guys both....

Wao thank you, most of them work, but it seem some dont respond.
Might have missed it in the list, but there is also *#0*#
For testing sensors and other stuff
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
Thats Cool. Thanks
And good old *#0011# will take you to ServiceMode/Debug/Basic Information (handy for checking what band you are on). From there, you can Menu key then "Back" (not back button) out to the rest of ServiceMode.
Great, thx, some of these are very usefull !
*2767*226372# = E2P Camera Reset.
What exactly does this do? Revert the camera right back to new?
Are there any GPS codes ?
Can you add *#2263# to change what bands your phone uses.
The codes don't work for me... At least the few final sound codes. Says code is wrong or my Internet connection is off, which its not.
Just recently purchased my S II (the first smart phone I've ever owned), I was curious as to where you input these codes? Sorry if my question has set android users back a generation or two.

THanks for the list, is this supposed to be a GPS tool? Not doing anything here. Would be nice to have the old GPS tool from previous generations.
Thanks for the list !
Just looking for the "secret" code for my firmware version
Edit : Found it, it was in the list !
have a look~
Yet another secret code
*#9900#
Here you can disable Fast Dormancy.
On the Galaxy S you had the following function (see quote):
On my Galaxy S2 i want to DISABLE long press power off in Lockscreen. Actually i want only the Home button to be operational in Lockscreen (disable completely the Volume & Power button in Lockscreen).
Is there a such code?
I already tried (see link) to alter system/usr/keylayout/sec_key.kl
It PREVENTS to wakeup the phone in Lockscreen (deleting WAKE). But it doesn't prevent to power off when it is in Lockscreen (it sill power off after long press, don't want that in Lockscreen).

If your enable this, it appears to not only shutdown your phone with a long press of the power key, but it also disables your lock screen (puzzle/glass screen).

Hi, I tried this code but it doesn't work for me, and if I press the Dial option it will just show me the ISMI number.
The one of the apks(don't remember which probably the phone.apk) contains a list of all these commands, the list posted here is not the full one there are a lot more, there pretty much in plain text, get Notepad++ and search -> find in files in the app folder and search one of the WORKING common codes like *#*#4636#*#*,
but be warned there is a code that reboots the phone, reboots to download mode, and one that factory resets without confirmation, there also is a code that allows retyping the imei but it only works on some roms(probably the the beta version KPH)

There is none that I know of.
You have to be rooted to wipe dalvik. If rooted its in the advanced menu of cwm recovery.
The only way to clear dalvik without root would be to factory reset your phone as cache and dalvik get cleared during this process.
For best results it would be wise to perform both Wipe Data and Wipe Cache to ensure integrity and no program errors within the app itself.
Of course, you will have to go through the complete set up/sign in/etc. when you reboot.

Very very good idea !
But, most of these codes do NOT work on my 200dpi ICS Stunner 1.4.19
EDIT: I'm afraid only *#06# works on my N7000 !
I'm on LC1 and many of the codes don't work for me unless I'm too stupid to use them correctly. None of the *#8999* codes seem to work. Do you just enter them in one long string and press send?
Moved To General
As its not a development thread, i move this to the general section.
