Do anyone know a way to hide an app without using a special launcher? Is there a terminal hack or something?
I been searching for a while and surprised that i haven't found much on this subject.
Not possible. You'll need to use a 3rd party launcher to hide apps from your app drawer.
Use the Android 5.1.1 Stock and wonder if some hesitate Xposed module to hide the status bar?
I know that Nova launcher allows hiding of the status bar....
It's under nova settings>>gestures & buttons>>swipe up/swipe down...
Set both up and down to 'toggle notification bar'......

Hi all,
is there any possibility to remove the shortcuts (not uninstalling) from system apps on the screens?
Tried google without any success (only led me to "remove bloatware blah blah").
If I long press and hold eg. settings shortcut the phone says "System app. No uninstallation" on top
of screen.
Edit: Stupid me - should learn to RTFM and understand english.
Cheers,
Christian
Get a 3rd party launcher that supports hiding apps
You have to make a zoom out gesture on your homescreen and you can hide apps there.

Hey guys, I want to hide my status bar in all applications. It should only be visible if I swift from top to the bottom of the screen. Right now I hided my status bar with nova launcher but this hides the status bar only when looking on your homescreen. If I open youtube, whatsapp or any other app the status bar is visible again and will not hide. Is there any possibility to hide the status bar completely?

Hi!
Yes its possible!
If your have Xposed framwork, download "Force immersive mode" module.
This module hide status bar and nav bar automatically in app of your choice or in all your apps!

It worked with keyboard but it is very laggy. Also I would prefer that the navigation bar is not hided. I uninstalled the module for this reasons. You can try it too maybe you like it.. wouldn't it be so laggy on my phone I would use it maybe

Euuu.. the 3 dots menu?
I have no probleme to use the keyboard with this module on any apps.
Some of my apps, like chrome are not listed in the display/fullscreen option. I dont want to hide the notch in that app, but its not available. This seems dumb.
