I had Froyo android 2.2 on Xperia X10i, and i astisfied with it
But only one thing i dont like by foryo 2.2 is camrecorder, rly need camrecorder.
It is possible to fix it?

given how well this rom works, that minor problem is not even a problem
unless u use ur phone more for recording video than anthing else
in which case why not just use a real camcorder lol

Use vignette it has flash u can find the full apk everywhere on Google. Just set it as Ur default cam

Download videocam illusion ,it records video,not in HD but atleast in nice quality, I am using it and it works just fines

ASM need SDK ......capture screenshots by PC or Laptop
this is the only way I can capture screenshots
Common guys all above ways are known, my point is:
Is it not possible to develop an app which can take screen shot (without Root)??

It is possible but only with android 2.3.3. Google put a API for taking screenshots for it. right now it's not possible for the arc.

You have to root your phone and then have a chance to brick it

it's highly unlikely that you'd brick your phone after rooting.. it's only really a problem if you start flashing custom kernels or boot images.. even flashing a broken ROM won't brick it if your Boot image is untouched.

I'm a noob to android,converted from IOS..followed the steps from this forum,now I'm on 2.3.3 rooted and bootlocked still...no problem whatsoever of bricking..

Well thank me, there is a small button for that exact purpose.
I have a question... there are two possibilities 1. for "normal" and 2. for small one.
"XRECOVERY VERSION
Retail Arc Timescape Normal version (also compatibile with Wolfbreaks rom) (Installer) (Uninstaller)
Retail Arc Timescape LDPIv1 for LDPI/smaller screens download (Installer) (Uninstaller)"
which one is the right for x8 ?
Is the first one just for X10 and the 2. for X8/ mini /pro ?

I could, but what's the point? It needs porting anyway.
As far as I know the LDPI version is for our handset, but there might be some incompatibilities since this is indeed a ported app.

You made my day I'm telling you that the apks from the stock ROM will be crushing on custom ROMs if you don't port them correctly and you say I'm slowing progress... what progress, are you eager to port those apks? If so, I can rip them and send you a package, just say a word...

Sure? i use it, and it function well, sms, facebook, twitter, all, it only sees a little pixeled.
Isn't the font a bit too big? does the text fit the tiles?

Both of them are not perfect. LDPI version the font is too big. Normal version the font is pixelate hardly can read. But for me it's not problem at all since I use timescape only for updating status on FB & Twitter
Oh, I use it on froyobread ROM and it works flawlessly no error at all

Okay. Wait about 1 hour i have a lot of homework.
Done it just need a tester since my pc ain't recognising any usb devices, not even my Thumb drive. Im uploading the port on Mediafire soon ill PM the tester who wants the link.
Ok guys i ported this it boots and it works, the status bar crashes, but yea it works and its ported PM for the link i can't put it on Xda cuz i don't want to. If you like the port tell me and ill polish it out a bit so it works well.

Guys....Was browsing few random pages and encountered with CyanogenMods latest release "Gallerynext"...
Because of "not so good" AOSP gallery , CyanogenMod have tried to give it's users an own developed gallery with many additional features which used to lack in aosp ones...
U just need to join the community below here and u are good to go..the app is free in playstore but don't know why , they have put some kind of lock that u can't access unless u join the community....
NOTE- it is in beta state yet guys so expect few bugs !!!!
though it is really good with quite a few good features

I realised that half of people over there on community werent able to find where to download app(that is weird..)..but just in case...

From what I see on the comments on Google+ page... it's still full of bugs and glitches, and the added features are minimal, with some critical feature missing such as swipe to delete. It's to be expected from a beta app though... It's great that they decided to update the stock gallery, because it looks like Google is planning to abandon its development in the future (or is it already?)
I just hope it won't end up as the second Focal.

Focal turned quite a bit of disappointment but camera is something lets say "actually a tough task then a gallery"...
Cloud feature is cool...and its bugs are different on different devices...on many high end it doesn't boot...
AGREED.... it is beta after all...hope it releases new version sooner ..

Have you tried the new version of Leneno camera and gallery? It's not force closing anymore and the camera seems to have a lot of improvements in 3.5.6 version.It's now called SnapIt and SeeIt (Camera and Gallery) - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2427015
And yes like mentioned above, there's always QuickPic, I've been using it since it's early stages, and it has never let me down.
Yesss i have tried the latest one gallery is slow to open and camera is big in resolution. I previously used in cm10 that it was awesome. I will give try in my latest Rom carbon:thumbup:
