TS: download widgetlocker from market.
With no security, 'No Lock' will unlock using any key (e.g. volume).
Is there an app that will do this with security pattern enabled?
So you want no security with security?

How do you figure that? I want to hit the volume key and see the lockscreen. And then I can unlock the phone as usual.
Cyanogenmod 7 has volume key wake up option. And it will still ask for pattern.

Help, my pattern lock suddenly stopped working. I don't know why/how?

If you forgot your pattern, you can still log in using your Google Account credentials.
Unless it's not your phone, that is.
That happened to me once. I ended up using the 3 button combo to get into recovery and reflash the rom I was using.

I should have been more specific. What I'm saying is it just stop locking. I can set it up and it would lock once after the setup, after that it doesn't lock anymore.

Hi
I know some earlier ICS roms had home screen and app drawers that rotated. Do you guys know if that has to be built into the roms or is there something I can download to incorporate this feature? Thanks and have a merry Christmas!

I have the same problem here. I can't rotate the screen.
stock ics homescreen/launcher doesnt auto-rotate. the cm9 launcher does.
Oic. Thanks. Can I just pull the launcher and use it in another rom?

Nova launcher also provides this functionality.
Hi,
I need help, I updated to the most recent 4.1.2? i believe. whatever is the most recent build. I updated it last week and today..I can't change it back to portrait mode. It's just in landscape. I unlocked the screen lock and I restarted my device multiple times, but it's always landscape..
Is t just the home screen or the entire device?
Home screen..

Some launchers, e.g. Apex, have settings to force a given orientation. Does your launcher have that feature set?

I'm on stock. I just unlocked it.
