Thx Borg! Just curious, what improvements did you make to increase battery life? (that's different from stock kitchen). Cheers.

I guess phone log issue was related to messages showing up in the call logs and the fix shouldn't show you your messages in the calls log anymore.

Correct!

Reboot to see full changes!
Change launcherPro to allow scrollable widgets for Contacts widget: menu > preferences > general settings > enable scrollable widgets.
If you would like the extras sliders for phone and msging on the lockscreen: menu > settings > cyanogenMod settings > input settings > phone & msging. Then underneath that, set the app you want to run when sliding the msging slider.
If you're sick of Super User notifying you every time CPUBoostLite gains root: App Drawer > Super User > settings > and uncheck Notifications.

That is a perfectly legitimate question, and I will answer ... it is basically the same thing, as are most all the froyo roms on the forum. Almost everybody uses Con's Kernels and vendor tree for compiling. It's just a preference thing really, just more to choose from.
Stick with CELB if that's what you like, I would
Flashing now, hope Root Explorer works on it ^_^. I have yet to find a froyo rom that doesnt force close root explorer.
does this rom suck?

All of Team Whiskeys roms perform a full system wipe
Remember to disable Voodoo before flashing.
Obsidian V4.2
- Correct Mount-fix added for each version
- Added inharent support for Backlight Notification compatible kernels (BLN)
- Streamlined Frameworks
- Numerous Corrected Images
- Return of TouchWiz MMS w/ Blurry mms Fix
- Integrated WirelessADB
- Additional I/O scheduler, VM management, kernel scheduler, and minfree edits via sombionixInit script
- Integrated Flashing with Universal Lag Fix system. (Source by sztupy @ XDA, Ported by Setiron)
Universal LagFix Kernel Features
- All lagfixes and tweaks activated directly within clockwork advanced menu
- MULTIPLE lagfix options, new and old
- 3e recovery built into kernel
- No longer required to disable lagfixes before flashing
- Enable/disable back light notifications
- Option to switch to 2e recovery
- Option to install Superuser
- Enable/disable I/O scheduler tweaks
- Enable/disable VM management tweaks
- Enable/disable kernel scheduler tweaks
- Enable/disable misc. tweaks
- Reboot into download mode
How To Utilize Universal LagFix Kernel:
1. Flash ROM as you normally would via clockwork recovery
2. Let device boot and then reboot back into clockwork recovery
3. Once in recovery, you will now see 2 new options at the bottom
4. Within the new menus, you will find options to enable/disable certain features and an assortment of lagfixes
5. Enabling/disabling features and tweaks are fairly self explanatory, so have fun with those.
6. Lagfixes are also fairly simple, however, if you are not extremely familiar with them, I suggest sticking to what you know such as the OCLF or voodoo options
7. Once you select the lagfix you want, you will see that your current configuration is updated. You must then go back and select reboot.
8. It will kick you back into clockwork very quickly and give you options before converting your partitions to your selected lagfix. I suggest you pick the first one which creates a backup and restore of your system.
9. Your device will now convert your partition, reboot your phone, and you're done!
v4.2 w/ Voodoo Kernel
v4.2 w/ Setiron Kernel
Obsidian V3 for Captivate:
- JK2 App/framework
- Added ext/2/3/4 support
- Mounting issue fixed
- Modified custom Init script
- cfq IO scheduler mods
- vm management mods
- minfree (memory) mods - set to strict
- CPU set to conservative power usage
- Updated market
- Updated rommanager
- Preinstalled flash 10.1
- Preinstalled OCLF.apk (ext2 lagfix which is optional) with built in modified playlogos1 to work properly with our kernel - USE THE OCLF.APK I INCLUDED, DO NO DOWNLOAD ANOTHER VERSION
- Supports bootanimation.zip
- Heavily modified framework-res
- Modified TouchWiz launcher and removed all lag
- Custom wallpapers
- Removed TouchWiz Mms due to blurry mms issue and replaced with modified AOSP Mms.apk to work with froyo. This fixes the blurry mms issue and will be a temp fix until we can figure out the whats going on with the TouchWiz mms.
- Removed wifi calling - you can reinstall in manually if you'd like, but fyi, the app was not built well, it is constantly running in the background shooting out errors. This is not a rom issue, its the app and happens in all roms that include the wifi calling app.
- Auto zip align all apps on boot
-Voodoo Kernel provided by designgears. You cannot run both lagfixes at the same time! If you want to run OCLF and not Voodoo, then put the disable-lagfix file in your SDCARD\VOODOO folder.
Installation:
1. Reboot into clockwork recovery via rom manager and flash
or
2. Manually boot into clockwork recovery and flash
*IMPORTANT*
AS USUAL, IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY USING VOODOO, YOU MUST DISABLE IT BEFORE FLASHING ANYTHING!!!!
*IMPORTANT*
Credits: designgears for letting us use CogKernel, sztupy for ULF Source, Setiron for ULF Cap Kernel.
looks cool. I will try it out.

Ok so with every 2.2.1 ROM I have tried when I look up in the Market for LCD Density I only get 1 result not 3 so for some reason it is filtering stuff unlike 2.2 Roms.
Someone said I had to fix some build prop but I saw that you have done that already and yet same issue for me.
Any ideas?
PS I paid for the LCD Density so I can find it if I click on My Apps BUT it is a super old 3.4 version instead of the current 5.x

I edited the build.prop to include the proper device, you might try editing it to say 2.2 instead of 2.2.1... attached is an edited one. Just extract and put in system using a program like root explorer.

Nice addition to the kh3 base.
Need any tips....let me know.
Might want to add to your op that anyone running a ext4 partitions "must" Odin stock kf1 to rfs their partitions then Odin a kf1 kernel either cog or atomic with the cwm built in.
I realize your op states to follow either thread and add this at the end. But trust me your going to have your hands full with that statement.

Love the idea but wish airplaine toggle was sound toggle
I understand its not exactly stock but it seems useless when I can toggle airplane from tthe power menu. really hope samsung changes it for the official cappy ginger release or future leaks though I find it unlikely.

No, this is a stock Rom so tethering will not be enabled however if you're rooted use Tibu and freeze "tetheringmanager", reboot and tethering should work.

1) I just installed the Tiramisu what do you recommend for proper use / better ROM?
1) After installing the ROM, I suggest you go Galaxys settings and adjust (if necessary) the colors and the mDNIe Mode
2) Settings In Performance:
- Processor Speed: In Cpu Governor personally have put SmartassV2
- I disabled the boot animation by checking the last option
3) can use the app NsTools to set, among others, the Overclock
4) To the better animation use app Spare Parts Plus and set Windows Animation and Transition Animation on Very Low
5) To set the lockscreen that you want, use the MiLocker app. If you want other LockScreen, go to the Online section where there are hundreds (you can also choose the lockscreen background)
Warning: You should do the OC from APP Semaphore only if you know what you do, because the oc with the above kernel is UNSTABLE!
2) How can I do to solve or at least reduce the problem of Wifi?
Solution: Try to flash the modem ZSJPG
3) I do not have the FM radio as I fix this?
Solution: Use the app Spirit FM. To hear the radio go to settings -> Regional Band Select Italy, in Audio -> Method -> Galaxys Danger in the Output Device you can set speaker or headphones.
It seems that 1% of cases (only the Galaxy S), the use of the app has broken the phone's speaker.
4) I have photos, music, contacts, duplicate / tripled how fix?
Solution: Clear cache and dalvik of app and media storage so reboot
5) What are the inverted GAPPS flashable with Tiramisu?
Answer: They are the main Google Apps and not (email, messages, contacts, etc.) with the colors inverted ie mainly in Black and Blue Very useful to save some battery (as well as aesthetically beautiful).
6) Can i help Development of Tiramisu?
Answer: Yes Of Course! Thanks to stoux you can port the Rom in your own language see this for info: Link and share your conversion with us!
