I Have P3300 with Spanish language, how i can upgrade to English?

I have the same problem.I flashed my art with Ooops Black Rom! On the screenshots the language is English, but after i put it in my art the language is Spanish! What to do???

Flased the phone with that.
After that was completed, I installed the Ooops Black Rom and it changed to english.
Did that about 20 min ago and works fine.

I have P3300 in Italian and want to change it into English. What to do? It is unlocked.

Hello,
I've got a HTC Touch Diamond from Vodafone here in Spain.
Sadly it's in Spanish with no possibility to change it back to English -UPGRADE it to English-.
-I don't know why mobile operators care on translating devices, but that's another story-
Does anyone knows an EASY way of doing it without flashing the Device? -I don't want to go thru the hassle of flashing it, reinstalling all and so on-.
I've been living with it in Spanish for 6 month now, but today, as I've installed the Microsoft FB App and not being able to correctly configure it in ENG-, I've noticed that I cannot keep on going with it in Spanish.
So, if anyone could help me, I'd be more than thankful.

Both do not revert your device to complete stock, since they don't contain a original SPL, but there are useful for backup

The post says the Orange UK rom has French, won't that do?

YES MAN only english no other language

I use this ROM on my Rose. Of course it includes French - "Français" is listed in languages. Try reading manual...

Seems you're on crack or didn't do something right.. I just flashed the UK Orange rom above & change region to Francais & to Francais (France) & restart and it *IS* in French! In case you couldn't find it do Start->Settings (Might need to do All Programs)->0 More->2 Regional Settings & change Language & Locale
Main screen says: (It takes about 1 minute after reboot for main screen text to change language but buttons & start menu changes immediately after reboot)

(accents are there but I can't type them with my keyboard)
Almost everything is in French.. Profile names are English still but you can edit them.
Btw, since I spent the time flashing & testing this ROM I can confirm the following languages in the UK Orange ROM: (Sorry no accents)

Slovencina
Cestina
Polski
Portugues (Brazil)
Romana RO
E... (One that starts with E but I can't type. Sorry no idea what it is)

Note though that I cannot use this ROM myself because I get no signal on AT&T in the US & perhaps the same can happen other places. I believe the ROM is customized to disable 850/1900 bands because they are not available in the band selection list. The super odd thing is that with my SIM in I *do* show a signal & it says AT&T on initial boot after hard reset for a few seconds before the customization begins. I haven't spent the time researching for a way to undo those changes but odds are they can be removed.

I'm kinda a newbie to dumping roms and stuff, how can i dump a ROM ? i have a S740 and i wanna share the ROM in my device with other users...

I can give u the latest US s743 rom if you want...just tell me how to extract it.

someone must at last create a guide to explain how to make buckups of original roms...the only think i know is how to extract raw files...but nothing better than that.

Hi guys.
I' used the search tool, but found nothing not even close to this, so I decided to open a new topic to ask: Is there a stock ROM for A500 with Portuguese (Brazilian) language?
My Acer A500 is completely stock and was updated to version 7.006.01_COM_GEN1 in the last acer update, but this ROM only has the Portuguese (Portugal) language.
I know Acer has lauched the A500 here in Brazil, but I have no idea if they have made a translation to pt-br, or if they're selling here the pt-pt version.
Can anyone enlight me?

If there's only one Portuguese, it's most likeky the European version. You can tell them apart by checking the "settings" icon on the menu. In European portuguese it's called "definições" and in Brazilian Portuguese it's called "configurações".

The choice I have to switch my language to is spelled "Portugue~s" the ~ being above the e.
Not sure which Portuguese this is?

Yeah, it's the same I got here. Unfortunately, that's European Portuguese. I'm guessing Acer was too lazy to lauch both versions...

No problem. I just learned that there are two variations of Portuguese

It's always good to learn something new!
The two variations are like English-US and English-UK. People who speak one can understand perfectly what a speaker of the other says, but some words and expressions seem kind of awkward.

1) 2.26.20 Verizon USA (Only english and spanish, root!)
RDSLite 4.9, 5.7 (Windows XP, 7) and sbf_flash(Ubuntu) - not changes.
2)2.26.60 Verizon USA (Only english and spanish, root!)

I can confirm this behaviour. A friend of mine had a Verizon too he wanted to get the Argentine Personal firmware. He flashed with Windows and he got the code corrupt error. He started to try other roms until he got this same error. I took the phone and flash all the ROMs using sbf_tool on linux and the Personal worked fine.
If you install CWM recovery you can put the original Verizon firmware from the Verizon backup someone made on this post:

I've Bought an A7 from USA but the only language options are English, Spanish, French, Chinese. The problem is that I'm Brasilian and I have only seen the chinese A7 version with the Portuguese language suport.
Now I'm looking for some way to add the portuguese language.
Is there any way to do this, by upgrading, installing a rom, or any other solution???

You don't need to flash full rom. i changed just framework and i've turkish now

I have the Axon 7 (6+128). No complaints so far, although has no Play Store.
I installed multiple keyboards like this:

Do you have root? If yes i can send you framework. You can copy it to system/framework but it would be better backup your system via twrp

Iam german and have buy the U Model ,which have only english and spanish out of the box but thats not a great problem. You can add every language and it work fine.
You need this APP and adb debugging enabled in phone(no root needed).
Then you connect the phone with your pc and add the following command in adb console ,first install the app and use your prefered lanuage and the app tells you what do to:
adb shell pm grant com.whenair.language android.permission.CHANGE_CONFIGURATION
Then go back in the app and tick your prefered language and voila, the phone is complety in your language OK, some entrys are allways in english but the most are in my language.

Did the same on A2017U to get german, only that I used MoreLangs https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=sightidea.com.setlocale that I prefer over the previously suggested app...
Very easy to do (no root needed) and almost everything gets displayed in the chosen language

I've had the same problem and after I upgraded to Nougat nothing changed, apparently. But after a I've made a FDR, with simcard installed, the Portuguese br option was available and selected by default.
