why must i waste space just to post in the dev thread?
Please respect the rules and don't be a serial threader/poster just to get your count up.

Here are the forum rules
http://forum.xda-developers.com/announcement.php?f=377
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=447646
New forum rules, please read!
1. Search before posting
Use one of our search functions before posting, whether you have a question or something new to share, it's very likely someone already asked that question or shared that news.

If you have a problem with the forum rules, or have a problem with the senior members suggesting that new members follow forum rules, please take it up with the site administrator. Otherwise feel free to spend your next 4000 posts answering the same redundant questions about subjects whose answers are readily available with a simple search.
The only thing more annoying than new members posting first and not bothering to search, is members whose total posting ( re: helping ) history is 41 posts, making comments when some one whose total posting ( helping ) history is 4200 , suggests to a new member that he follow forum rules.

Seriously? You started this thread with a "q"!
That right there should have made you realize you posted this on the wrong section.
Q&a! Q&a! Q&a!

Welcome to Xda. I've moved this thread to the HD2 Android Q&A forum. From now on(until you get more familiar with the site) if you're unsure what forum to post your new thread in, please post it in the HD2 Android General forum. It's always a safe bet that if it's not a development thread, it will go there unless it is a thread specifically opened to ask a question(in which case it should go in Q&A).

What has that got to do with the price of fish?
Does been new to site suddenly impair your vision or remove your ability to take 5 seconds of time to look at the forum titles instead of spamming crap in wrong sections?
Also some word of advise, before posting any questions in teh Q&A forum use the search button, You know the one that says "SEARCH" on it, because its very very likely that any question you have has already been discussed at length already all you need to do is read and learn

"Wonder what I did wrong", even if you did not use the "?", also this was a question. You are going to get banned! hehe
Thread closed
No one is going to get banned for politely asking a question. We are enforcing the 'no question' rule in General now, however. I had the Q&A section added as soon as the rules allowed, please use it! We are moving questions into that forum as we post
When will I be able to post in the developer section I have some ideas and I have more than 10 posts so I don't know why I cant post there yet...... any ideas
"To unlock all capabilities of XDA, we ask that those of you with higher level skills make 10 helpful posts. If you are unable to help others, please post only relevant new questions or observations. Low quality posts will be deleted, especially when made simply to get to the 10 post threshold."
I'm not sure if that's the case, but could be the problem.
I think that is a smart requirement for a site like this.
It could also be the fact that you've already plagiarized other people's work.
Man, I get douche chills reading your posts.
Did you not just post in the dev section the other day? Maybe your behavior got those right's stripped.

I want to bring your attention to some of the forum rules. They are done to improve XDA-developers.com and for you to get the best of this great community. Not following this rules you show disrespect to any other member.
1. Search before posting.

3. Post only using a clear subject and message.
You're most likely to receive a helpful answer to your question if you use a short subject title that describes your problem and a message that explains in detail what your problem is and what you've tried to solve it.

5. Post a message only once.
As a large forum we don't need unnecessary clutter, You're free to edit your message as you like, so if you do not receive an answer revisit your message and see if you can describe your problem better. Not everyone is online at the same time, it might take a while before you receive an answer.

General - Question & Answer section is not a place where everyone can open a new thread with the own question. It is needed to search before, read the sticky threads, read the wikis, read and read once again, and post in an existing thread, if necessary. Repetitive topics will be deleted/closed without previous notice. Topics like 'urgent help' or 'do I brick my phone?' and so will be deleted/closed. Infractions issued to reiterative members. Remember XDA-Developers.com is about development. That includes Q&A section! Thanks for your cooperation. Best regards,
what's this
is this mean that I hava to edit this before I can start a thread?
I know and thanks very much!
thank you
Ynt: Attention !!! Please read before start a new thread
