Need To Know!!

I am about to get a p3600i in a few days.. any warnings or anything i need to know about this phone. i flashed my himalaya into non existance many years ago and my tornado is running wm6 now and i love xda-dev but from what im reading in the forums, no one knows jack about this device yet.... can i network unlock it? supercid??? etc etc. tried following posts but too much confusion with having p3600 and 3600i in the same froum so i cant always make sense of whats being posted.
Any help appreciated!

only irritating thing i found with this device (p3600i) so far is the stylus being right next to the camera button so every time i go for the stylus i start camera. definate annoyance!

Help with opal

hi nice guys! I have a opal at about 2 years, it ever worke fine, but for a few months ago, It started to work strange, it started "quickshutdown.exe" i tought it was a problem from the rom (using pajerm one) i've downgraded to the original one, but the problem stayed there...today I disassembled the phone started it with just the board and lcd fixing the battery with my hand to see if there is a problem with the cover power button, but nothing done, the problem keeps there... it acts like the power button were stuck always pressing.. anyone had something like this? any solution?!

bro i think it is not software problem or rom
maybe it refer to hardwares
so it's better to show your device to a an expert

thanks! i wanted to see if anyone had something like this... it was the gameover to the phone, i got on touch pro and one LG with android so im not gonna repair it anymore...

[Q] Modified Rom To Use Only Hard Buttons

Hello Everybody!
Here is the thing, my touch screen is not working anymore. a common problem with the hd2 i think... I cant afford to replace it, or send it to get fixed...
So, is there any modified rom, android maybe, that will allow me to use the phone (at least listen to music) without using the touch screen? I mean, using only the hard buttons?

Before posting new threads, use Search and you will find similar threads that address your issue .
Do a hard reset by restarting while holding the volume control.

What can I do, with a htc hd2, that has a broken digitizer? and I cant fix it... is there anything usefull that can i do with it?

Only my volume hardware buttons work.need work around

have a problem on my HD2,only my volume buttons work.would like to get WP7 back on it but i cant select anything in nand,dont need android as have sgs2 for that.anyone got a work around for this till i can get it fixed?

[Q] replacing parts on a old HD2

Hi all,
I have a HD2 EU for long time now, and with the use some problems begin to appear. some color branding and to fix that just have to press on the side of the phone and it desappears, the buttons some time fail... it's an old and used hd2. Some days ago a friend give me a brand new hd2 that someone have bricked when flashing a wrong radio on the first attemp to instal android. there's something i can take from my old hd2 that i can change to the new one to make it work again and have a good hd2? the problem with the new one is that when try to start the phone it starts vibrating and never stops, the computer don't find the device, and it won't go to the 3 colour menu.

First of all: they are 2 of a kind or different?
1. If identical, you should just replace motherboard of the bricked one with older one.
2. If different, you'll be able to replace it too, but a perfect fit is not expected.
For disassembling you should find yourself some video/graphic guides here(on xda) or else(uncle google should do a good job as usual).
